Weeks/EDD/How many times a mom? 13w2d (June 29th), will hopefully be our first

Previous loss(es)? TFMR (T21 and cystic hygroma) December 2019, MMC at 15 weeks in July 2020

How are you feeling? Emotionally & physically? Mostly ok, compartmentalizing and trying to not think about it. Physically just some mild growing pains. Apparently my boobs grew, my mom says they look good

Any appointment updates? Early anatomy scan Jan 15th

Rants/Raves/Questions? Loving that I took 2 weeks off for the holiday. Definitely making it more relaxed

Any milestones coming up? December 29th was the EDD for my July loss, December 30th is the one-year anniversary of my TFMR. For the current pregnancy, my 16w appointment is coming up next month, which is when we found out about the loss in July, so I'm nervous.

GTKY: Any fun plans or traditions for this week? The usual Ukrainian Christmas Eve dinner. It's supposed to have 12 courses/ components, but we focus on borscht, pickled herring, baked fish, fruit compote, holubtsi (stuffed cabbage), mushroom sauce, and pyrohy (pierogies). I'm also making crab cakes for my non-Ukrainian husband

Weeks/EDD/How many times a mom? 15w3d. June 14th. Im hoping this our rainbow baby.

Previous loss(es)? 2 in total. 1 MC at 7 weeks Nov 2019 and a TFMR July 2020 for T21, cystic hygroma and hydrops.

How are you feeling? Emotionally & physically? Emotionally I do pretty good most days and try not to dwell on the negetive thoughts and just appreciate every day that I have. Physically i have been having alot of painful growing/stretching pains and backaches and sore boobs.

Any appointment updates? I have my anatomy scan Jan 18th so im super nervous for that. I've never made it that far before so FX all looks well with baby and I hear good news. I hope to start 2021 with a bang and good things to come.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I have 8 days off for the Christmas holidays so thats always nice and im looking forward to being lazy and relaxing with DH.

Any milestones coming up? Today actually is my empty due date for my loss in July 😢 Its a hard day cause your sad but trying to enjoy Christmas eve at the same time. I have alot of mixed emotions but proud of myself that I have done so well today.

GTKY: Any fun plans or traditions for this week? Its hard with Covid so it will be a bit quieter this year unfortunately

We usually go to my in laws house with the family for Christmas but not this year so we will all be doing Christmas together over zoom on the 26th. I gave the in laws a present to open on camera that we are pregnant so im excited for them to open it and see their reactions. We will be making turkey and all the fixings here at our place and then some appies and snacks throughout the coming days.

@akoros Sorry that you have so many milestones coming up next week. I know how you feel. Sending you lots of love 😘❤ I hope your 16 week appt goes well next month. omg all that food sounds so delicious expect for the pickled herring 😆 I hope you have a wonderful Christmas 🎄.

Weeks/EDD/How many times a mom? 14+3, 6/21, STM

Previous loss(es)? D&C at 21+ weeks for TSD, early m/c at 4+ weeks

How are you feeling? Emotionally & physically? I’m doing ok. That bleed Sunday morning increased my anxiety a little. I am just so glad that I have a Doppler at home and work closely with amazing OBs who will do a quick bedside u/s on the OB floor. I am getting very nervous for my early anatomy scan in 2 weeks, it makes it even worse I have to go alone.

Any appointment updates? Early AS on 1/6 at MFM and then 16 week OB appointment on 1/7.

Rants/Raves/Questions? A rant and a rave all in one. I’m sad we aren’t seeing any family for Christmas but it is also so nice not to have to run around today and tomorrow.

Any milestones coming up? Not in the near future

GTKY: Any fun plans or traditions for this week? Nothing this year because of Covid but on Christmas Eve we go to my mom’s house to do presents and have a big lobster dinner.

@akoros I'll be thinking of you and sending you creepy internet hugs over the next few days. Two hard milestones right in a row... I hope you're able to find some comfort in the next two days ♥️
@MelissaMay82 I had my NT the other day and I was a mess waiting to go in by myself. I hope your AS goes well and am glad the drs you work with take such good care of you!

Weeks/EDD/How many times a mom? 13+6, 3rd time earth-side mom

Previous loss(es)? 3 early ones- July 2012, 2019, March 2020

How are you feeling? Emotionally & physically? Feeling like I can breathe after my NT last week. With my newly discovered issues 2nd tri will be pretty risky for me, but I'm being super monitored and doing what I can so not worrying. Statistics are on my side, but you all know how that goes- once you're on the other side of the stats it's hard to find comfort in that. That being said, we haven't told our other kids or extended family, friends, so not super comfortable yet. Also, my cousin had a baby two days before my November empty due date (March loss) and has been posting a ton of pictures. Very happy for her but sad bc it would have been fun to have kids so close to each other age-wise.

Any appointment updates? I'm going to have biweekly fetal echocardiograms from 16 - 32 weeks with both my MFM and a pediatric cardiologist. I have the first 3 scheduled already so feel good that things are getting settled. Still having difficulties getting hydrochloriquine, which is supposed to help prevent fetal heart blocks so hoping I can get that this week. My Dr said intense gas can be a side effect and just the idea of side effect gas + pregnancy gas makes me 😳

GTKY: Any fun plans or traditions for this week? We usually do a big Christmas Eve with DH's family - about 25-30 of us and a full day of eating. DH did a ton of cooking this month so that we could have some of the same food, even though we didn't see anyone in person. We have two couple friends that we've done NYE with for the past 12 years, but won't see them this year either. One of the couple is going through a divorce so not sure how this year would have played out anyway.

How are you feeling? Emotionally & physically?
Emotionally I'm feeling okay!!!! I am less scared with every passing week.
Physically I'm finally feeling a little relief from the nauseous and vomiting! Thank the gods

Any appointment updates?
Just had my 16 week appointment today ❤️ got to hear the heartbeat. It took a little while for her to find it (anterior placenta and I'm overweight) but she found it and it was super strong!! Ugh it's my favorite sound in the world.

Looking forward to my ultrasound in 2.5 weeks! Can't wait to see the baby again ☺️

@_orchid_ one of my friends from my first bmb- we had the same exact due date for the March 20 baby that I lost
I had to block her on FB I couldn't handle seeing the photos. I messaged her first like hey this is where I'm at.

I'm really sorry it's someone so close to you, it's so so hard.

@_orchid_ hey thanks for asking. Telling my in-laws and family over Christmas went great. 😃 I feel so happy and relieved that they all know now. They were shocked when they opened the gift we gave them with the onsie and ultrasound pics inside. The rest of the family on zoom was like what did u get?? So my MIL held up the onsie to the camera and everyone was like yay baby!! Congratulations you guys! It was such a nice moment. I told my dad through an e card I made to announce it. I emailed it to him since he moved to Mexico many years ago now. He's sooo excited!! ❤ Best moment for Christmas ever.

IDK why I haven't joined this thread in the past...

Weeks/EDD/How many times a mom? I'm a third time mom at 16 and a half weeks. Due date is June 11

Previous loss(es)? I had a "chemical pregnany" at 6 1/2 weeks in 2014, a "chemical pregnancy" this past spring/summer, and we lost Baby B at just shy of 12 weeks this pregnancy.

How are you feeling? Emotionally & physically? The last week I have been feeling better emotionally and I'm starting to let go of some of the thoughts of what could have been if there were two here at this time next year, but the last few days I've had really uncomfortable menstrual like cramps and its really freaking me out. I always have cramps in the very beginning, but dont remember having them at this point in the pregnancy in the past.

Any appointment updates? I have my routine OB appointment the end of this week and I'm just so anxious to go and hear the heartbeat.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I bought a fetal doppler hoping to ease some of my anxiety, but I think it just made it worse. A lot of people have told me not to pay attention to the number on the doppler, but I couldn't get my doppler to read higher than 80 beats per minute. The heart rate sounded slow too, so I'm unsure if it was even baby's heartbeat or if somehow it was picking up my heart. I emailed the company to ask them if anyone else reported an inaccurate heart reading and they basically said no, no one had reported an inaccurate number.

Any milestones coming up? I have my anatomy scan the very end of January, but I chose to have the Panorama NIPT test done a little more than a week ago to try and find out some answers about baby B. We get results next Monday and I really hope they arent inconclusive.

We usually go to my sisters and spend the night for New Years and just a few of our closest friends and their husbands come, but COVID has changed those plans so we will be home for the first New Years in 11 years.

@mrs_massie your anatomy scan is in July?? And your due in June?.. do you mean in Jan? Lol im confused 😆 I hope you get to hear the HB at your OB appt at the end of this week. I love that sound and never get sick of it. FX you get some answers from the results of the NIPT about baby B.

@ruemcclanahan aww I'm so sorry you had a similar occurrence with your friend. It definitely stings.
@mindyb2019 aww I'm so glad the announcements went well!! Definitely a good way to celebrate the holiday

@mrs_massie it sounds like you were probably picking up your hb, not baby's. Do you know where your placenta is? I have an anterior placenta and I haven't been able to find the HB yet (I used a doppler with my sons and had no problems finding their hb from 9 weeks on). My Dr has a tough time finding it too.
