My top 3 mommy confessions. Whats yours?

  1. I still warm his milk and give it to him in a very bottle-like sippy cup.  And I have no real intentions to stop.  It doesn't bother me in the slightest.
  2. I have anxiety regarding the pedi.  Unless it is super obvious he is sick I never quite know if something warrants a visit.  I am always scared they are either going to think I am crazy for bringing him in or that I should have brought him in sooner.  I am a huge worrier so my gage is off.  I brought him yesterday for an EI.  I started to suspect he may of had one a few days ago.  I waited and now I wish I hadn't.
  3. I honestly and truly think he is exceptional and have no problems saying it.  But, I think all parents should find their children exceptional in some ways.

  • I don't think this subject is actually right for this post.  My coffee has yet to kick in:)  More like mommy tid-bits... or stupid, useless bebemama facts.

  • 1) sometimes I don't feel like washing bottles so I just rinse out the last one I used

    2) I'm eagerly awaiting the day she can hold her own bottle

    3) my 6 year old wants a BB gun.  And DH is probably going to let him get it

  • 1. My little ones are wearing their bathing suits today even though it is the coldest day of the year.

    2. I can't wait until Julia is old enough for coffee, she is NOT a morning person.

    3. I hate board games and I try to get out of playing them whenever possible. ?

    .
  • My girls both watch cartoons while they eat breakfast.  They both mindlessly shove food in their mouths while they stare at the screen.

We never sit down to eat as a family.  DH and I always feed the girls first and then we eat ourselves in front of the tv after they go to bed.

DD is two years old and has at least 12 nuks in her bed.  I only find this shameful because I was a huge no-nuks-after-one person.

  • 1. My 2 year old still has a binky, and is not potty trained because I am to lazy to do anything about either one.

    2. Last night after being up for the 100th time, I seriously thought about letting my 2 MO CIO...I felt horrible for even thinking it.

    3. DD is eating Hummus for breakfast because it is all she will eat, guss she will just smell like garlic for the rest of the day.

    Mine are quite similar...

1 - Whenever we are in the house, Brooke always strips herself to her diaper and I don't care that she does and Ethan loves nothing more than to wear his jammies.

2 - Brooke is not a morning person and hope coffee has a pleasing effect on her.  I have high hopes for that since every time we pass a Starbucks she screams "mommy need her coffee, stop daddy, stop the car!!"

3 - I hate card games, board games and going outdoors when it's too hot outside.  I think subconsciously this is why I love cold, nasty, and rainy weather...it keeps me from having to go outside. I'm just an indoors person.

    4 - I hate bathtime as well.

  • 1.  DD got a Memory card game for her Xmas.  DH & I play it after the kids go to bed

    2.  My kids eat pop tarts 3 out of 5 mornings before daycare while watching a movie; its lets me get ready in almost peace

    3.   My kids are spoiled

Ditto these. In fact, we don't even have a table to eat at. Our house doesnt have a dining room or an eat-in kitchen, so we just dont have the room. I guess that would make #3...

I am dreading the day DS outgrows his highchair because I have no idea where the hell Im going to feed him!

  • 1. None of us have been out of our jammies before noon any day this week.

    2. I am giving my 2 year old cold meds because he has been coughing up a lung. They work, and he is happy because he sleeps. Sue me.

    3. I am aggravated with my husband's job, because he was supposed to work LESS hours at this new property. He works 11-13 hour days almost every day.

  • 1. The TV is constantly on. DD, therefore, watches it WAY too much and DH wants to get her one for her room because he's sick of Disney movies.

    2. I think DD could be potty trained, rather quickly, but I can't get myself to do it and I hate myself for that.

    3. I didn't give DD a bath last night, because I was too tired/lazy to clean the tub (we've been removing glue that was there from shower doors). Secretly, I'm glad MIL is coming for almost a week because bath time is her FAVORITE and I won't have to do it.
