R/R: I’m up and about early today! I had my monitoring u/s this morning and it went really well! We scheduled the IUI for Saturday and I’m both shocked and excited that things moved this quickly this time (they usually don’t for me haha). We have a virtual work day today and basically all of the parents of my students ignored my emails to schedule sessions, so I have a bonus paperwork day. Basically, I’m having a great day and I hope everyone else does too!

CS/Q: Weird, probably dumb question. Yesterday evening, on and off for a couple of hours I felt what seemed like it could only be some ovary pain in my right side. It was not super painful, but definitely noticeable, somewhere between a sharp sudden-type pain and a dull slow throbbing. Definitely in the area that my right ovary would be. Occasionally I experience mittelschmirtz but not consistently every cycle, and it did feel like this (I think?). But... I'm probably still about 5-7 days away from ovulation. I consulted google, as one does, and didn't come up with anything really, except for that sometimes stress makes ovulation early. I've been stressed, but I'm not having fertile CM, so it probably wasn't ovulation pain, right? I overthought it all evening as usual, and we ended up DTD anyway, because I just didn't want to screw up our chances because I ignored a possible signal. Any insight? Am I being dumb and it was just gas?

R/R: nothing huge just feeling super blah lately. Holidays and the pandemic are hard. I'm sure I'm not the only one!

@Aerialmrs - I'm not doctor, but I've had similar- sounding pain which turned out to be a larger cysts my ovary. I don't have PCOS or anything so cysts aren't exactly common for me, but they have cropped up on occassion and I can feel it.
@Aerialmrs you are almost there! I have nothing for your O pain... I wish I could be of more help.

WAYDTGKU: charting, starting OPKs this afternoon
R/R: Well, after I had mentally prepared myself for a virtual day today, my district ended up calling an "official" snow day yesterday afternoon. I'm not complaining - I'll take the break! I've been so busy keeping up with work and working on a in response to our district's push for more students in the schools that being able to relax and watch the snow fall outside my window is just lovely. It's so window right now that it looks like white out conditions! Thankful for my home, DH, and fireplace
CS/Q: I've got a weird feeling about this cycle. Usually I see fertile CM by this point, but I haven't yet, which makes me think that the steroids I was on at the beginning of this month might have messed with my cycle. I'll try to stay optimistic for now, though.

R/R: It’s been in the mid 20’s this week and we got dumped on with a ton of snow. I shoveled the other day and a few hours later the drive was covered again. I got all my shopping done except for my BIL’s family in Canada. I need to order something from Amazon.CA but I have never used that so I keep procrastinating. We leave tomorrow to go to my in-laws for another week. DH wanted to get my van fixed last week from the moose hitting us from our last trip but I told him to wait. We might as well see what happens this time before we get anything fixed.
CS/Q: my period is weird which is expected I guess. It’s lingering and surprisingly my flow has been really light. I’m glad it’s finally coming to an end. I’m using my new sensor and I’m loving the temps I’m getting. My chart is so smooth.

@fameonmain2 yay for a snow day! Enjoy the relaxation! I’m glad that your district is letting the kids just be kids.
@emeraldcity1214 hopefully you don’t have any more moose encounters driving around near your ILs!
@Aerialmrs I get random twinges of pain on my right side a lot, WTO and TWW. I would start tracking it and see if there is a pattern. I don't have cysts but my right tube may be blocked so that could be what the twinges are. I always get them on my right side though.

@fameonmain2 jealous of your snow day! I read a letter from a superintendent from a school basically saying despite distance learning they are having a snow day because they weren't going to let 2020 take away the joy of the first snow, families playing together and cozying up with a cup of hot chocolate. And then I started crying.
@emeraldcity1214 it would be pretty funny in a not funny at all kind of way if you got your van fixed from getting hit by a moose and then got hit by a moose again on your next trip. I think you made the right decision!

R/R: Just realized that we only have two more days for fun sex before we have to abstain so we should probably do that. The window between AF and abstaining is too short. The romance, y'all. Took yesterday off to do all things Christmas and stupid Shutterfly made that NEARLY impossible. I spent like 3 hours working on cards only to find that I ordered 85 cards but only got 65 cards and 48 envelopes. And at this point if they send me more cards they wont arrive until after Christmas. WTF! I need to finish up cleaning and gifts before my mom and her wife get here for the weekend.

R/R: we ended up getting the lower end of the snow estimate, which was still a foot of snow. I'm not in the best mood because it looks like I'm ovulating today or tomorrow, and DH couldn't get off last night or this morning. I don't want to pressure him because 1) rude and 2) that'd make it worse, but internally I'm freaking out because of course it happens RIGHT at ovulation. If we can't get another complete BD in and I ovulate tonight, our timing would only be O-3 and O-5, and if I ovulate tomorrow that makes the already done timing even worse. Bah.
