    Upcoming appointments:  Just submitted a request on the patient portal to see if I could combine my spina bifida blodd-work and the AS, and do both at 19 weeks, since I had to cancel my 16 week appt. FX they say yes.
    How are you feeling?  Doing ok. Still tire easily but I finally seem to be over this cold.
    Rants/Raves: I haven't felt the baby yet, and with the first tri symptoms gone this pregnancy doesn't feel real. I am starting to show, so I have that going for me, but I just want to feel the baby! I wish I had asked at my dating ultrasound if I have an anterior placenta.

    GTKY: Do you prefer cold? warm? to never leave your perfectly temperature controlled bubble? I love modern climate control, I don't think I could live in any other point in history, because I don't do well with extreme temperatures. When I'm asked this when I'm comfortable and it's purely hypothetical I say I prefer the cold because you can always add layers, there are only so many layers you can remove. But really I hate the cold too.

    Interesting Baby Fact / Baby is the size of:  I didn’t look at today’s but recently it said the babies foot was the size of a gummy bear which was really cute, then I had a craving for gummy bears I had to go out and buy lol. 

    Upcoming appointments:  I believe my next one is Jan 2 and it’s the big ultrasound to check on development and what not. 

    How are you feeling?  Pretty good. Sometimes I wonder if food is ever going to sound good to me again... I feel like I have aversions to everything and can’t finish a meal. 

    Rants/Raves:  I wish my dang house would sell, I’m getting stressed out! I’m so ready to move into my new one but I don’t want to show an empty house. The market is good it’s just a crappy time with the holidays. 

    Questions:  

    GTKY: Do you prefer cold? warm? to never leave your perfectly temperature controlled bubble? Hmmm I enjoy all seasons, but I don’t like super hot weather, yuck. In that case I’d rather be in the snow. But I’m in Indiana and our winters are long, about 5 months or more. It’s not uncommon for the windchill to be in the negative teens... about 6 years ago we had a week where it was -40 and it literally hurt to be outside for a second. Kids couldn’t go to school, it was madness. One of my clients in California was laughing at me when I said that our kids here are allowed to be out at bus stops and out at recess as long as it’s not below -15. He was like, wtf? Lol!

    Upcoming appointments: Anatomy Scan - December 29 / High risk OB - January 8 / Diabetes Test - January 29

    How are you feeling?  Good! Can't complain. I was having some growing pains but it seems to be better today 🤞 I did wake up with heartburns/nausea this morning. It subsided quickly but I hope it's not a new thing...

    Rants/Raves: I have a new coworker and I like her! I was really happy to onboarding her today.

    GTKY: Do you prefer cold? warm? to never leave your perfectly temperature controlled bubble? The hotter the better. I like it when I get out the house and it hurts a little 😅 When we were in Greece last year, it was the first time I was "too hot". Over there, specifically in the south, you can't be active in the middle of the day. A 5 min walk to our morning coffee place was always tough! 

    @brynn_mamaof4 that's cold! It gets around -22 here in the winter, I have to say though that kids are still allowed out!
