I've always thought looking at old wives tales and comparing them to reality was fun, so now that a lot of us know what we are having: Are the wives tales true for you?
We are team green, so it will be a while before we really know, but girl by 1 point on these. Chinese calendar isn't included in this one, but that also says girl.
For DS, Chinese calendar said boy and wives tales were 50/50.
@mamabee1113 how fun! I got girl by 1 point on this, and we are having a girl!
The Chinese gender calendar is interesting because I was technically 34 when baby was conceived, so going by that it predicted boy, but it was right before my birthday so if you go by that it predicted girl.
For me, so far, heartburn and hair has been accurate. I'll know for sure when this girl is born. I didn't have it with DS1, and he was nearly bald... And became completely bald a week later. My other two have had a headful at birth.
Your chart.. .
This pregnancy specifically: 7:6 girl But over all, I've had 4 from column A with the boys, and 4 from column B for the girls.
The weird one for me is morning sickness. I know that statistically, women with girls have MS, but both of my girl pregnancies I haven't. And both of my boy ones, I have. Cravings, too. For my girls it's ALL THE SPICY THINGS.
6/10 girl on the chart.. but we’re definitely having a boy! Lol. The Chinese gender chart predicted girl too. With DD and DS these were spot on for nearly all the myths, this time completely the opposite! I was looking up all the fun myths right before we found out gender and I was 99.99% it was going to be a girl, but nope! The balloon popping blue confetti truly was a surprise
@aisukurimsarang I’m curious to see if the heartburn is a true sign too. Had it with DD and she had hair, didn’t with DS and he had next to none. Lol. Everyone is wondering if this little guy will have red hair or not because I’m a redhead and my other kiddos don’t but if the heartburn myth is true, everyone will be waiting to see even longer! Haha.
These rang pretty true with my first two - we’re team green again so who knows? Based on how I felt the first time with girls, and last time with a boy, I am predicting girl. My husband thinks it’s a boy due to the old wives tale that if there’s a boy in there that the little boy toddler wants nothing to do with you (my one year old has developed a strong preference for my husband over the past couple months). That was a new one for me. 🤷♀️
Forced into team green unfortunately, but according to this, 9 points for boy and 6 points for girl. I couldn't do dad's intuition because he hasn't told me.
Haha when I look at this chart, it's literally like every other one is boy, then girl, then boy, then girl. And we're team green, so I guess I will just not know until April!
The only one that was true for me was morning sickness - zero with my son but I was sick with this girl! My intuition was correct with both of them. I didn’t know for the first couple weeks but before we got the genetic test results back I felt pretty sure about the sex of each of them and the tests confirmed it!
