CD/DPO: 23/?? FF says 3. I think it's 1-2
Timing: good
Typical LP length: 12-13
Testing: not sure yet
R/R: This weekend was really nice. I decided to start baking Christmas cookies and got my gingerbread cookies made. Hoping to roll out my sugar cookie cut outs tonight and decorate them later in the week. We're assuming that with how bad covid cases are starting to skyrocket around us, we'll be staying home for Christmas. So we're reducing the amount of cookies we typically make, though I'm planning to freeze some too.
CS/Q: FF has O on Friday but I'm not sure it's right. I think my peak OPK likely would've been overnight Friday since it was still positive at about the same level/slightly higher Saturday morning and negative by the evening. Given the strong O pain all day Saturday, I think I O'd either Saturday or Sunday. I was planning to HIO one more time tonight to make sure I'm good on timing in case O was yesterday.
@gingermama29 I bet FF changes your CH once you have a few more temps in. We went for the straight EOD this cycle too, hopefully it works for both of us! I’m trying to decide how many cookies I want to make this year for the same reason. I’ll have cookies from my cookie exchange which will probably be enough but it will be sad not to bake any more.

R/R: Ugh Monday. I stayed up way too late last night and actually have somewhere to be today 🥱. We had a nice weekend though. On Saturday I just really wanted to get out of the house so we went to a drive-through light display. It was kind of far away and on the way home got takeout from this place I’ve been wanting to try and ate it in the car. It sounds odd but was actually nice! Yesterday I had to make cookies for a cookie exchange I do with my cousins (we’re doing porch drop off/pick up at one persons house through this week and then meeting over zoom). I kind of forgot about it and our grocery order wasn’t going to be ready for pickup until evening. I didn’t want to go to the store so I just had to make do with what we had and this was the result haha.
We ran out of the red sugar clearly, but I would argue the others are still Christmasy since they are the colors of the lights on my Christmas tree!
But anyway I hope this is the kind of stuff that the pandemic changes in me. Last year I would have dragged myself to the store to get the ingredients for the perfect thing and stressed about it. I actually enjoyed making these and just having to be creative with what I had on hand.
CS/Q:
@gingermama29 I love fresh gingerbread (cookies, bread, donuts, you name it)! There’s a place near my house that makes amazing gingerbread muffins and bread all year round. I have to hold myself back from going there every week, or else none of my pants wound fit lol. – I would say can’t hurt to HIO one more night if those crosshairs may change
@bows22 I love your spin on the sprinkle colors! It wouldn’t be Christmas for me without a multicolored tree! One day I want to have a “pretty” tree with white lights and a specific color scheme, but that would always be a secondary tree. For me Christmas is about the tree with all the colors, and all the ornaments that have been collected/made/gifted through the years. I’m glad you enjoyed making the cookies and were able to realize how flexible you can be with on-hand items.
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 15/3
Timing: good
Typical LP length: 13 I think (last month was first month without an IUD in 8 years and it was 13)
Testing: Next Wednesday probably since MH has that day off and will be home when I test
R/R: I had a really relaxing weekend. There was a snowstorm Saturday so MH and I just turned on the fire and stayed cozy inside with the pups. I think they enjoyed the fire more than we did:
Sunday we drove an hour to visit with my in-laws for the first time in a few months, only the third time since March. It was really nice because I love my in-laws and miss seeing them 2+ times each month.
Monday’s hitting me a bit hard though, I’ve had to log on to work three hours earlier than usual. I’m in a virtual onboarding with many coworkers across the globe, so logged in at the time that works best for so many different time zones. My company normally has a global onboarding at the main office several times a year for global employees who have been here 6mos+, but of course had to cancel trips this year. This is the first onboarding since the pandemic “started” and I think it’s going pretty well virtually. I’m a bit disappointed that I don’t get to hang out in a beautiful Scandinavian country in midsummer (when my original trip was planned), but I’m glad that the company has found ways to adapt.
CS/Q: I had what I think was O pain on Friday (isolated to left side, but mild and only periodic over a few hours). I felt a similar pain Saturday as well though (slightly stronger but still what I would consider mild, but over probably 6+ hours). Normally if I’m crampy its centralized and not just to one side. I’m feeling confident Friday was O day. CM changed Saturday, temp did go up (not a significant spike, but def up), and CP changed as well. Could I have just been crampy Friday/Saturday, can O pain carry in to an additional day? Still new to all this and trying to figure out my body in this post-IUD life.

Timing: decent O-3, O

Testing: will try to hold out until I'm late but I'll probably cave and test early since I'm working from home with so many tests at my disposal 😂
R/R: None yet, but it's still early in the day
CS/Q
I got dotted CH today. I'm pretty sure they are accurate though as all my fertile signs have gone away 🤞

@bows22 we have been doing a lot of christmas lights drives this past week. We have one close by that is timed to music so we spend a lot of time at that one
@gingermama29 I need to start my baking. We only have a little convection toaster over (yay tiny living) so I always drag my feet on baking. It takes foreverrrrr.
@grizzlymama86 Your fire looks so cozy. I wish we had a fireplace
@bows22 those cookies look festive and tasty! I agree, I wouldn't have known that they weren't what they were supposed to be! I hope the pandemic comes with a few good changes like that for me too!
@grizzlymama86 that tree, the fire, the cozy dogs! Picture perfect Christmas! What's funny for me, is I could feel O pain every cycle with my IUD and without I almost never can. I only felt it this cycle because of the letrozole.
@baby_yoda1986 I bet with one more higher temp you'll get solid CH for Friday. I always had an up and down rise like that. It would go up a bit and then drop for a day and then go up again.

R/R: I am LOVING the Peloton. I know that Peloton people are crazy and I did a lot of research before settling on it vs Echelon or any of the "hack" bikes and was really frustrated at the lack of genuine reviews of the Peloton or comparisons to the other options but ultimately decided on it because of the experience and the fact that the screen is hard wired in and not bluetooth connected to the bike. I am just so stinking thrilled that it lives up to the hype. I am honestly excited trying to find times to fit in a ride. Now I just need to convince MH to get rid of the rowing machine and weight bench taking up space that only got used a handful of times. Seriously I think the bike has gotten more use in the last 5 days than they have since we got them.

@baby_yoda1986 yeah I definitely would drag my feet if I was baking in a convection toaster oven! That sounds challenging!
@krash_ that's exactly how my sugar cookies go. I'm lazy and just spread frosting on them and then do sprinkles 🤣. It's my least favorite part but they're so tasty, it's worth it. I only make these once a year. I'm glad you're loving the peloton! That's awesome!!
@grizzlymama86 we never had a “pretty” tree growing up, it was always the mix of sentimental ornaments, I didn’t even know having a pretty tree was a thing until I was an adult! But I agree it would never be my primary tree. Your picture looks so relaxing and cozy. I love it! And yikes to 3 hours early on a Monday.
