I would love some diaper suggestions, my daughter is 8 1/2 so I don't know about any of the new brands like Hello Bello or Honest. Has anyone tried them? We were a Huggies family back in the day. So I'm debating on whether to just stock up on Huggies from Costco or try something new.
Re: Diaper recommendations?
Kirkland (Costco)
Aldi
Luvs
Pampers
Huggies
Hello Bello
Honest
Amazon (Mama Bear)
Bambo
grocery store brands and rite aid brand
Honestly I haven't noticed much variation in how well they work as long as I get a big enough size. I have noticed some variation in the sizing. My son can still wear a size 4 Huggies but he needs a size 5 in Kirkland or Luvs. We size up for nighttime too and just use whatever brand is on sale. I was using pampers overnights for the first year or so but those are expensive! We also have a stash of cloth diapers and did a cloth diapering for a time, but I had a heard time keeping up with it once we introduced solids.
One thing I will add to this discussion is to try the Overnight diapers when the baby starts sleeping through the night. Around 4 months DD started sleeping through the night and would pee through her diaper and we did a couple middle of the night sheet changes. I had no idea Overnight diapers were even a thing until someone suggested I try them. They are more absorbent and they really work! DD is 20 months old now and we still use them. Actually just had to order some more on Amazon because she woke up with wet jammies this morning (we had run out)
