Trying to Get Pregnant

TWW Wednesday 12/2

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. Thanks for keeping this a safe place for us all to engage!**

Re: TWW Wednesday 12/2

  • Month/Cycle: 13/11

    CD/DPO: 32/12

    Timing: -3, -2, 0(IUI), +1

Typical LP length: on progesterone so at least 14

Testing: I told DH tomorrow so he’ll probably hold me to it haha

R/R: I have such a busy day today! A day full of meetings and writing student progress reports...fun fun fun. The actual fun thing about working from home is that I’m going to make some pumpkin bread between meetings!

    CS/Q:

  • Loading the player...
  • Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: CD25/7DPO

    Timing: good

    Typical LP length: 10-13

    Testing: In a few days

R/R: The temps shot up to the teens and mid 20’s yesterday and are staying that way today. So our drive home won’t be as miserably cold as I originally thought. My MIL tried to get me to go sledding yesterday but I told her I’m not quite ready for that. Especially the hill they were planning to take us to. So we ended up going to dinner and driving around looking at lights.

CS/Q: Yesterday’s temp brought CD23 down but today’s temp brought it back up so that’s nice. I was hoping today’s would be a little higher.

  • @runningoncookies All of y’all are bakers around here. DH makes bread but I haven’t tried it yet. I was going to try to bake some sourdough but the directions take up several pages in my cookbook so I keep putting it off.
  • @runningoncookies I will be anxiously awaiting your testing results tomorrow! How are you feeling? I know at this point we try not to get our hopes up but my hopes are up for you!  <3

    Month/Cycle: 13/13

    CD/DPO: 23/7

    Timing: +1, -1

    Typical LP length: on progesterone

    Testing: 12/9

R/R: I posted about it in the randoms but our Peloton was delivered! I'm pretty excited! And part of me is like maybe this will mean I will get KU this cycle because of course I would get KU right after getting an exercise thing in my house. But the Negative Nancy in me says that after a year of trying getting a bike likely wont change anything. I'm not feeling any symptoms and I don't test early so I will be waiting until 1 day before my beta to test.

    CS/Q: none

  • @emeraldcity1214 glad it warmed up for you!! Although it makes me feel dumb not wanting to go outside in our 40 degree weather haha! And honestly the best part about baking is how good it makes the house smell! Makes me so happy every time and makes all the steps very worth it!

@krash_ I’m trying to ignore all my feelings lol because I know that they all could easily be very related to the progesterone (the WORST!!). But my boobs have been sore the past couple of days and I’ve had some cramping on and off since Thanksgiving. Hoping that will lead to good things but definitely having a little anxiety about testing. Enjoy the peloton! That is so awesome that you got one...I’m jealous!
  • @krash_ aim also jealous of your Peloton. I have been begging for a treadmill for awhile and DH flat out refuses. 🙄 once COVID is over I guess we will get our gym membership back and I can just go up there but having it in the house would be way more convenient.
  • @emeraldcity1214 Peloton has a tread as well. I really like their community and that's what I think will keep me motivated to use it because I used to like group fitness classes like hot yoga and sculpt classes. What I really like is you can purchase it interest free with Affirm so our payment is about $100 a month including the membership for MH and I both to use it. So it's about half what we were paying with my yoga and his Orange Theory memberships pre-covid. And I told him to check with his health insurance that we are on to see if they allow Peloton for their gym membership reimbursement.

  • @krash_ reimbursement would be nice. I don’t think our insurance does that.
  • **lurking**

@emeraldcity1214 I have what I affectionately call a peloton “hack.” Basically I didn’t want to spend the money on the bike so I bought a cheap sunny bike off amazon, a cadence sensor, and clip in pedals (I already had the shoes) and just stream the classes on my phone or iPad. The app is 13/month and the other stuff came to less than $400 total (minus the shoes).  Not the same as getting the full experience of the leaderboard but it’s working for now!
