15+4...feeling good most of the time. Struggling with headaches most days and stuffed up all the time. My lower back and hips are already bothering me so sleeping is tough, but I remember a few weeks of this with DS and then it went away (or I got used to it) so hopefully it doesn't last long! My lower back hurts and the pain almost feels like it runs down my butt cheek which I feel like is weird!
How are you feeling this week? Good! I too have some backpain @spartan4life but I think mine is from laying down so much and being very inactive. I would say it pulls more than it hurts though. Other than that, I've been hungry after dinner the past couple of days so I think my body has started to request some extra calories. Some RLP when I sneeze.
@spartan4life oh yeah, that’s the good ol sciatica pain! I get it also, I notice that it is worse that night if I sit on the floor or couch with my legs to one side. And my hips and back were hurting earlier in pregnancy but seem way better lately! To be replaced with leg and foot cramps 😆
My I get is back too @mimser. Which is good timing because we have SO much food in the fridge right now that I had to send some over to my brother in law.
I have been feeling less tired, and my patience is coming back. Weird dreams have kicked in every night. I don’t know if it’s my age, or that I’m on my 4th baby, but I can’t sleep beyond 7:00 am. No matter when I go to bed, if the birds are up, I’m up. I also seem to require less sleep than I did with my earlier pregnancies. Guess I am getting old....
15 weeks 5d. I have mostly been feeling better but today was really really rough. I couldn’t keep anything down, I’m exhausted and just can’t manage to want to eat anything. Hoping tomorrow is a better day! I have my first appointment with a chiropractor tomorrow who specializes with pregnant women and I’m looking forward to some hopeful relief. I have had 7 hip surgeries on my right hip. I broke it in a bad car accident at 16 and then at 21 I was attacked at a bar in Halloween and my leg was pulled out of my hip socket.. it has never been right after that. My last three pregnancies were pretty decent pain wise but this one is killing me a bit. So, I am reallllly wanting time wake up feeling better so I can make it to my appointment!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
@brynn_mamaof4 Wow. I remember you saying you had hip surgeries, never thought those would be the reasons. Glad you made it through, and I hope the pain eases up!
17+2. Still nauseous but I think it's starting to get better? Definitely not ready to start dropping meds but I only had one or two peppermints yesterday which is a huge improvement. Other than that I've got some SPD, headaches (I feel another one coming on today), and major constipation. I'm also exhausted today but don't know if that's pregnancy related or if I just overdid it the last couple of days with decorating and stuff.
15+1 Less nauseated. No vomiting this week, but taking zofran more often. Constipation is still here. I'm taking stool softeners daily and pooping EOD, maybe. I'm not sleeping good on a pretty regular basis. otherwise I'm doing pretty okay here

@mkc3888@gusgus14 I’ve been using Metamucil powder and it helps a lot with constipation. Not perfect, but that plus a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast almost guarantees me a BM once per day as opposed to every other. Still it’s not comfortable and I have to watch what I eat to try and avoid cramps and pains throughout the day.
I’m 16+6 and feeling mostly good, just tired — probably because I’m on activity restriction and am not getting any exercise. The pressure I felt after peeing last week has gone away. Dealing with hip pain from one-sided sleeping, and I can’t sleep past 7am no matter when I go to bed mostly because it hurts too much to keep lying down. @brynn_mamaof4 your hip history sounds so difficult—I’m so sorry you’re dealing with extra pain.
@ccmrc143 the constipation is honestly my own fault I use miralax which works great but the problem is I never think about taking it until all of a sudden I'm 5 days in and dying!
I've been drinking 4-8 oz. of prune juice every couple of days since my constipation/spotting incident last week and it works a little too well. 😂 Back to BMs once a day.
@ccmrc143 I recall from my last pregnancy, that if I let my bladder get to full, I'd get braxton hicks and after I peed, it was almost like my abdomen was sore or tender. So maybe something similar?
Thank you everyone 💕 I had my appointment today and it was a good kind of painful ha. Mainly the “tissue” lady who applied extremely deep pressure to tissue areas throughout my legs. I’m expecting to be super sore tomorrow! I adjusted really well however, and I’m going to start working with the physical therapist a couple times a week to work out a sacroiliac issue, SPD and overall hip issues. Likely from overcompensating for the last 18 years to my left side which is just creating a lot of problems.. shifting in gravity plus years of it is just a bad combo! So, I’m really motivated it gets better but we are starting suuuper easy due to all the trauma (and I have hesitance because I’ve been dislocated completely by a doctor taking me through range of motion on the table). I’ve surprisingly never really done a lot of good, real PT. Most of my previous therapies have been more occupational in learning how to walk with whatever assistance, go upstairs, shower, etc. checking boxes... not really looking to see if I was doing it effectively.
Anyway, sorry for the long novel! I have my 16 week appointment tomorrow and then on Thursday I have a fun elective ultrasound to determine gender... hopefully! Also, I am pretty sure I felt the baby move a couple days ago which surprised me because I have an anterior placenta and expected it to take longer than normal, but I felt it late at night in bed when I was lying in my side, and felt the kicks low on the side so I think the baby was just in a good spot. I haven’t felt it sense, but I’m pretty positive that was it!

How far along are you? 15w5d

@spartan4life I'm so sorry for your back pain.
I'm 17w1d. I'm having a bit of pain, but thankfully it just seems sore and not like sciatic pain.
