How are you feeling this week? Physically, decent?  I did walk my dog with my friend the other day, and her dog pooped and I have never dry heaved so much in the past 10 weeks as I had at that moment, which was a little shocking since I thought I was past that. Mentally...I think a week off of work will do me some good.  I am hoping it’s just hormones.

@aisukurimsarang I usually have terrible heartburn, but it’s not been bad this time?  That is a lot of pregnant for the past 120w - I fee for you, it’s very uncomfortable.

I’m feeling somewhat okay. I’m almost scared to say that 😂 My IBS has calmed down for the time being. I’ve found that Miralax is definitely a no go for me, and the Colace seems to help. I’m going to take that every other day for now because I’m not wanting to chance too much of it since it takes my stomach so long to recover from medicine. Other than that, I’m trying to up my water intake so I’m peeing a lot!

@aisukurimsarang I hear you, although it’s been a while since DD2 was born. I do not enjoy pregnancy and am looking forward to meeting this guy and not being pregnant anymore.
  • @bblair24, I keep going back and forth between getting my tubes tied and a copper IUD (progesterone and I don't get along). At 43, I only have a few years left before The Change, and tying my tubes seems like using a cannon to kill a fly. But, I've known several women who became pregnant on an IUD and I am so, absolutely, positively DONE having babies!
  • I know what you mean @aisukurimsarang! DH will be getting snipped in the very near future. We are done creating babies after this one. Adoption is very much on the table and likely a part of our future, buuuut this uterus is done haha!

My goodness, what a whirlwind the past week or better has been! Feeling pretty good, thankfully to keep up with everything. Enjoying baby kicks and flutters is new this week too. Still not strong enough for hubby or the kids to feel but they’ve see him moving around and gotten so excited! Non-stop running around with wrapping up school for a week and preparing for our first Thanksgiving in our new home this year has ruled my life! Aches and pains in my hips and lower back are a bit of a nuisance but hoping to have some time to rest this week too with the kids not having school and getting all the errands out of the way.

@aisukurimsarang I had the copper IUD before conceiving this time. I loved it for the most part, I don’t get along with the hormone birth control forms either and it literally changed nothing for me other than not getting pregnant before we were ready. Only negative thing I have to say about it is that I had it in for nearly 7 years and when I tried to get it out back in March, I found out it had became embedded. So it hindered us from TTC until June when a specialist could get it out.

  • @aisukurimsarang the copper IUD made me bleed like a horror movie victim. I would nurse DD and then the glider would be soaked in blood. I put up with it until she was a year old and then had it removed. I couldn't sleep at night because the heavy bleeding would wake me up. My body is very sensitive to foreign objects too, so take my story with a grain of salt.

Feeling mostly ok. Indigestion is a nuisance, and still getting surprise bouts of nausea/vomiting, but my energy is up and so is my appetite. Trying to enjoy this stage of the game!

@aisukurimsarang @bblair24 @goldpolkadot we are also done for sure after this one and I’ve agreed to use birth control / let the husband get snipped.

Has anyone tried the implant in their arm?  I’m curious about that.

@bbrahmbhatt I’m sorry you’re still having nausea and vomiting!  It should be gone at this point and it’s frustrating when that doesn’t happen.

@bluey101321 I’ve also been Thanksgiving prepping this week. I. Am. Pooped.

Edited because I forgot to write my question. 🤦‍♀️  Anyone else have their appetite totally disappear?  I love to eat, so this is bizarre. It better reappear Thursday!
  • @BuckeyeNut05, my appetite had totally gone away at one point and then actually came back this weekend. I guess it’s just another lovely side effect? I’ve been enjoying actually feeling hungry for once and not just eating because I feel like I have to.
  • 21 w 4 days- terrible heartburn when I eat any chocolate, but I'm pushing through because a friend left a huge box of Sees Candy Bridge Mix on my porch- my weakness!
I'm sort of cranky but the nesting has started and is so real - we did a HUGE house clean and purge the past few days and are having the inside of our house painted next week, which is exciting!
  • @eahayes +1 for the nesting urge! We did a big closet purge and re-organize over the weekend...slowly crossing things off my list for the house before baby comes!
  • @bbrahmbhatt oh man yesterday I went to the grocery store and as I was driving into the parking lot nausea hit me like a brick. I sat in my car a minute and grabbed the first thing I could which was an empty tissue box and puked and tossed it to the trash can on my walk inside. I threw up in the morning too but i had to drink 16 ounces of water before the appointment and it was just too much volume on my stomach.

@goldpolkadot and anyone else I forgot to tag, we are done too. We weren’t really sure if baby 3 was going to happen but now that it is I think we both feel comfortable saying done. We found out in the last year my mom is a carrier for the BRCA gene that can lead to breast and ovarian cancer so I had the blood test to see if I also have it or not. If I do, I will
likely have my ovaries out, but if not DH is getting snipped. I don’t do well with hormone based birth controls, and I’ve known too many people who got pregnant on an iud to feel secure with that.

For this week I’m still about the same, some nausea, headaches, occasional heartburn, yada yada... but I’m having some Braxton Hicks contractions which are more annoying than anything because they make me need to pee so much more often!
  • @bbrahmbhatt and @eahayes, yeah... I think this is me, too. I went on a massive cleaning spree over the weekend, even kicking SO out of bed so I could make it. Which is new. 4 pregnancies and this is the first time I've had it.
