R/R: Up early this morning to take MH to his colonoscopy. We had to be here at 6 😳. The hospital Starbucks wasn’t even open yet when we walked by and I am struggling. I can’t wait to beeline down there once they take him back. And also just get out of here because there are a shitload of people in the waiting room. I hate hospitals and covid doesn’t help. Excited to get something good for breakfast after and then tackle my non-work to-do list! Happy Friday!

R/R: Another BFN today. I'm feeling pretty sure I'm out this cycle but I'll keep torturing myself by testing this weekend.
Cases are starting to really take off around here. I'm waiting for the schools to shut down at this point. Wondering if we'll get to Thanksgiving break and will be surprised if we aren't shut down after it for sure.

@gingermama29 how old is your thermometer? It seems like it might be favoring temps? I’m wondering the same thing about when things will shut down here. Thanksgiving is going to be the turning point if not before. College kids are going to home and give covid to their whole families and that will be it.

@bows22 is YHs colonoscopy for some fertility related issue?! I feel for you and Starbucks not being open. I feel like whenever I need to be out and about first thing in the morning, I’m always googling what coffee shops are open near where o need to be.

@gingermama29 I agree with @bows22 that something sneaky is going on with your thermometer. Have you tried temping a bit later to see what the reading is? Either way, I’m sorry for the BFN 😕. At 10 DPO, there’s still a chance!

R/R: I posted a very in-depth update in the IF thread for anyone who has 20 hours to read it. Lol. But TL; DR: we have a new diagnosis of hypo-androgenic lean PCOS + small MFI issue. Can’t rush into IVF until I improve my testosterone levels. Also likely have other autoimmune issues which I will now get tested for. I’m actually feeling much better now since this is finally a diagnosis of some sorts, and is consistent with previous medical records.

Otherwise, I went to bed late yesterday (past 11) because our friends arrived to the cabin later than expected and we stayed up to chat. But then I woke up earlier than normal (4:20... but forced myself to dose until 5:40). Maybe I can take a nap this afternoon!

CS/Q: Nope. RHR is a bit lower today but still generally higher than normal.

I'm not 100% sure if I should be posting but I wanted to jump in and start contributing to the board, so please let me know if I should hang back and lurk for another few weeks! I hadn't anticipated starting to try this cycle because I'd assumed I'd ovulated already by the time we decided for sure to start trying again, but then I had what I think were ovulation pains the next day and my temps weren't high, so we decided to jump right in - I didn't have any OPKs on hand yet, but my temps did rise a day or two later so I guess we'll see?

Month/Cycle: 1/1

CD/DPO: 36/3 or 4?

Timing: god? maybe? either O or O-1?

Typical LP length: only just started temping again, but it was around 11 days the first time I tried back in 2018

Testing: FF predicts AF Thursday, but my cycles are irregular, so will probably wait until the 24th since that's about 2 weeks after my estimated O

R/R: not much upcoming this week, LOTS of homework, test coming Monday, and working 15 hours over the course of the weekend, wheeeeeeee

CS/Q: not much to see since I've only been temping again less than a week but hey, all data is good data right?

@gingermama29 yeah, my university is supposed to go fully remote post-Thanksgiving anyway, but I'm not sure we'll even make it to then without shifting remote.

@acleverusername I hope being able to pinpoint the issue helps get things solved for you.

@bows22 I hope everything goes well with the colonoscopy! I guess one good thing at this point is that while the prep is awful, recovery is nothing, so you are hopefully in the clear.

@gingermama29 I’m so sorry about the negative tests. If it is real, I’m glad at least that you seem to have a good plan for moving forward so that you won’t get stuck with another cycle like this one.

@acleverusername I had read through your update last night, I’m glad that they identified something concrete that you can work on! I hope you have a nice time in the mountains this weekend!

@fitzfizz I hope we both report back with productive weekends! I’m not doing very well so far. The UO thread has been a drain on my day haha. The worst part of the scopes for DH is the not eating (I don’t blame him haha) but he’s successfully made up for lost time today.

@bows22 The Starbucks at my hospital is life. Glad you got to go with him. I know visitor restrictions fluctuate all the time; whether you can 1 person, 2 people, no people, or us where it’s one but once you leave there’s no going back in!
