Ages of other child(ren)? 18.5 months (yes I’m this mom)

Any thoughts about this cycle? Eh...I’ve already written it off. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Rant/Rave? Today is the first day in my child’s entire life that she hasn’t breastfed. I’m not okay. 😭😭 In other news, I started her in a dance class for a few weeks just to get us out of the house and she had SO much fun. I can’t wait to go back on Saturday!

GTKY: Who do your children look more like, you or SO/donor (if you know what donor looks like)? She is a carbon copy of her father. Wouldn’t know she was mine if she hadn’t come out of me. 🤣

@chindimples04 it’s so hard when they stop bfing, probably more for mama than baby! I feel you. The dance class sounds absolutely freaking adorable!!! 😍

Ages of other child(ren)? Almost 5 and 2.5

Any thoughts about this cycle? Pretty sure that all my stress and anxiety delayed my ovulation.

Any questions? Definitely had one but my brain is mush and I can’t remember. I’ll be back if it comes back to me

Rant/Rave? I mentioned in WTO the other day that we went out to dinner and while my boys were fine, they used to be so well behaved and good out to eat. I feel like not going out, they’ve lost their manners per say. I will never give my children a tablet or phone during meal time (no judgement to those who do) but I did give them pens and let them draw/write on the paper place mats. We got a lot of dirty looks from a very old couple sitting near us. It was a very casual restaurant.

Our oldest son is identical to me, actually to my younger brother. But definitely resembles my side way more. Our younger son is his fathers twin. He actually looks a lot like mh’s late grandfather.

@chindimples04 I wouldn't be okay either. I worry it's close to the end of he only feeds 3x in a day.
@paytonpedro don't people understand that they are kids and could just get be having an off day? I try to just ignore others.

Rant/Rave? My nose and his head accidently collided and I had a bloody nose before morning tea. How the day is better than how it started.

GTKY: Who do your children look more like, you or SO/donor (if you know what donor looks like)? Me. Some days I feel like he must look like the donor did as a kid, but usually everyone sees me.

@Kenneylynn3 this old woman was also yelling at her husband all dinner so we were just laughing. She was clearly miserable. Lol. I wasn’t offended. They are just kids, and while they weren’t perfect, they were fine.

Rant/Rave? My milk supply is up dramatically. I’m so relieved! I added brewers yeast and I think that has made a huge difference. Plus I’m drinking a ton of coconut water. This may have an impact on when I ovulate. It’s worth it though. He needs my antibodies right now.

GTKY: Who do your children look more like, you or SO/donor (if you know what donor looks like)? My girls look just like DH. Darker skin and hair, My boys look more like me with a fairer complexion and lighter hair. My youngest reminds me so much of my oldest. I swear you would barely be able to tell them apart if you saw their pictures side by side.

@chindimples04 I had planned to put my 3 yo in dance this year. She wants to so bad. They won’t let me in the studio to watch her because only 1 parent and no siblings are allowed due to COVID. I actually got upset at the studio a few weeks ago because I was in there watching my oldest daughter and I saw a dad come in and sit down with his 2 children while he waited for his oldest to get out of class. Her class had another 30 minutes left. I was livid. If they are going to have rules like that they need to enforce them for everyone. I was “that” parent and I went up to the owner and asked if that rule was still in effect. She said yes and then I asked about that guy. She didn’t know what to say to me. In the end, she asked the guy to leave. I don’t feel bad at all. All the rules need to be enforced fairly or they need to just get rid of the rules. I have dreamed of watching my girls dance at this age and I’m missing out on that but this random guy gets to watch his daughter. 😑

@paytonpedro I don’t let my kids have tablets or phones either. I think they need to learn to quietly entertain themselves. On the rare times I have let them have a tablet their behavior is way worse.

@Kenneylynn3 yesterday I was going to pick up my youngest and I tripped. I nearly fell on top of him and when I caught my balance I elbowed my 4 yo in the face. 🤦🏻‍♀️ My husband was standing there and said he saw it all happening in slow motion and it was quite ridiculous looking. I felt so bad for my 4 yo.

Rant/Rave? My niece just had her baby and is living with me in the mean time. We all had huge concerns about her mothering skills but she’s doing soooo good.

I think me. Her dads side says she looks like her uncle as a kid but I don’t see it. The uncle just had a kid and the baby and Adelyn definitely look alike.

@chindimples04 good thoughts, mama, on the change from BF! And toddler dance class has to be adorable. My DD did it when she was 5 but she decided the lady was “too bossy”

@emeraldcity1214 oh, I’m glad you said something. I think its super important to follow these rules! DH works weekends so it’s a nice activity for DD and I to do together. My dancer heart is thrilled.
@emmylou78 I’m so happy to hear your niece is turning into a great mother! ❤️
