R/R: I have to go back to work today after a 4 day weekend and I slept terribly last night. I don’t want to go to work! (Imagine that in a very whiny spoiled voice, because that is how it sounds in my head)
CS/Q: How much do you trust temps after broken/poor sleep? Of course today is the day I need it to be most accurate, but I woke up 2 hours before my alarm. I kept thinking I would fall back asleep so I just laid there, but technically I was awake for 2 hours before I took the temp. Still, it is higher than even my sleeping-in temps over the weekend, so it is probably a real temp spike. It also correlates with OPKs and CM so I think today is O day.

R/R: I have a butt load of meetings today to try and get kids caught up with where they need to be for math. So many of my kids don’t watch the lesson videos we create and they aren’t learning the material because they aren’t watching the teaching. It’s really frustrating. I just want things to go back to normal so I can teach my children in person. #wearyourfingmask On a less ranty note, my TTC TikTok has been getting more views than I expected and I’m really enjoying the outlet. ❤️
CS/Q: my chart is frowning but I’m totally smiling over the consistency of my temps. It’s v satisfying.

@fitzfizz Going back to work after a long weekend off is the worst! I'm not sure about your temping question. My temps tend to be all over the place so if I wake up early or have a restless night that temp doesn't look too off. I tend to discard those, but only because FF wants to tell me I'm ovulating earlier than I am when I keep them in. I guess I would keep it for now and see how the next 2/3 days go

R/R: I have today off, which is nice. Going to try to mix in some yard work with getting caught up on work work. Why are days off never *really* days off?
CS/Q: Nothing to see. My temp's a little elevated but not as much as it is after I ovulate so I'm thinking it's just heavy blankets and warm temperatures.
@fitzfizz hopefully your first day back to work goes by quickly and smoothly! I always have broken sleep, so that’s my normal. But I do try to take my temp as soon as I wake up and realize I can’t fall back to sleep.
@chindimples04 sorry about how school is going for you. I can’t even imagine how frustrating that is. It’s just an all around poor situation, for the teachers, parents, and kids.
@fameonmain2 Mh’s days off are the busiest days of the week for us. I have to usually schedule in down time lol. I actually quite enjoy yard work, but it’s usually the inside stuff that needs to be done or running errands.

R/R: yesterday was mh’s grandmas 90th birthday! So we went to dinner for the second time since the beginning of March (first time was last week) but out county is yellow so we couldn't have more than 4 people to a table and had to sit at 2 different tables. Regardless is was so nice to even just go out and have some semblance of normalcy. We were all very careful and wore our masks/sanitized. But it felt so good to get out of the house!
CS/Q: 🗣 I GOT MY FIRST HIGH OPK THIS MORNING 🎉🎉🎉 I’m a little excited haha. Now I’m just waiting to see my temps correlate and I’ll probably move over to tww tomorrow or the next day. It was just about the same, if not the same, color as the control line, do I keep testing? For how much longer?
@paytonpedro keep testing! You wanna try and figure out if you hit the beginning or end of your surge. When I was doing OPKs I typically got lines that were the same level or darker for 2 days in a row. Sometimes it would be the same color, then darker later that day or the next day. So keep testing until the line gets lighter again, then you can be sure that you got your peak.

R/R: Well it looks like our beautiful weather is ending today. It’s supposed to rain a ton the next couple of days. Yuck. As a rave, DH and I started watching Queen’s Gambit last night. We only got one episode in but WOW! So good. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a new good show to watch!
CS/Q:
@chindimples04 - I teach as well (college classes) and also wish I was back in the classroom! My department decided like a month ago that the spring would be online as well. I don't mind having a class or two online each semester, but having all my classes online is the worst! I miss having face time with my students!! Also I know they aren't watching the videos I post because I always get emails asking questions I clearly answered in a video!
@paytonpedro - Getting out feels like such a luxury these days! We had some friends come visit in September and we went out a couple times for the first time since March and it was awesome to feel a little bit normal again.
@runningoncookies - Our weather has gone to crap too. Snow on Sunday and now more snow today. My husband and I have been wanting to watch Queen's Gambit! Everyone I've heard from says its great!

R/R: I have a bunch of training videos to watch today for work. It's SO boring!! I was never a fan of these trainings in person but online is painful. I know above I complained about my students not watching my videos but like I feel their pain too lol. I understand why they don't want to watch the videos. Though to be fair I keep my lesson videos short (5-10 minutes).
CS/Q:
@paytonpedro I think we are done with going out to dinner until there's outdoor dining again so I am v jealous. Yay for your positive OPK! Yard work is actually my least favorite thing to do but there's a monstrous amount of leaves in our yard right now and they're driving me crazy. I managed to get the leaves in front yard into a pile... now hopefully mh will do something with them.
@runningoncookies I hope yh was as productive as I was! Though I still have some work to do now that I've come inside.
@chindimples04 would it be creepy to ask what your TTC TikTok is? I have a TikTok problem
@fameonmain2 days off are always the busiest! Enjoy it though!
@paytonpedro yay for a positive OPK and some semblance of normal for dinner! Definitely keep testing!
@runningoncookies I am so hopeful this will be your cycle! Sorry the good weather is coming to and end. It snowed here yesterday and it's supposed to again tomorrow.
@dancingnarwhal ugh online training is the worst! I agree short videos are the best and especially for students!

R/R: idk what to put here and what to put in the IF thread. I spent an hour and a half on the phone this morning with the RE's office, then insurance, then insurance again, then the pharmacy, then the RE again and lastly the pharmacy again. I'm busy with work, busy with my side hustle, feeling like I need to take down Halloween stuff and put up Christmas stuff. I'm kind of glad we had to cancel Thanksgiving plans for monitoring so we can enjoy a slow holiday weekend.
