R/R: I put up my Christmas lights yesterday since it’s supposed to drop 30 degrees starting tomorrow. Obviously don’t have them plugged in but my not frozen fingers are thanking me for doing it while it was 75 degrees and not 30 degrees. I guess my only rant is that it’s cooling down a lot starting tomorrow and I’m not cool with that.

  • @chindimples04 so fun! That was smart to use the good weather to your advantage.

R/R: I’m back!! I was way too stressed over the past many days to check in here, but I missed you ladies!! I was feeling fairly yuck this weekend (Clomid related) once my election stress faded, but DH and I still tried to make the best of the gorgeous weather that we had! We went to a brewery and sat outside on Saturday which was really nice.

    CS/Q:

  • @chindimples04 that was smart! We haven't put Christmas lights up outside in years, but I was just telling DH yesterday that I was going to start putting Christmas stuff out in the house this week. It's way early for me, but I need. Between COVID and darkness at 4 P.M. we need a little sparkle in the house.

@runningoncookies the brewery sounds wonderful. I was so happy to be able to take some long walks with the dog this weekend - it was beautiful here, too! Not that I mind taking walks in the cold, but the foliage around here is still so pretty so that was nice.

R/R: Rave: I got up early this morning and did a 30 min peloton ride before work! Huge win for me. I was doing this about 3x a week back in September but then fell off. Getting it done in the morning is sooo much easier for me, even if it means a 4 A.M. wake up time. No rants atm.

CS/Q: Nothing to see, really. I didn't start temping until a couple of days ago b/c I've ovulated around CD 22 for the last few cycles. I'll start OPKs today just in case, though.

    WAYDTGKU: prenatals, temping, tracking CM.

R/R: I’m achy all over and being on my period just seems to amplify it. So far it’s a light period so that’s a plus. I’m just hoping we can be over this virus before my FW opens.

    CS/Q:  nothing to see.

  • @chindimples04 DH has been wanting to get lights up. I told him he better do it while it’s in the 20’s. 😆 Although we got a mixture of rain and snow yesterday and I’m sure it all froze last night so everything is icy now.

@runningoncookies Im glad you had a relaxing weekend.
  • @chindimples04 definitely a smart idea to use the good weather to your advantage!

@runningoncookies hanging out at a brewery sounds just perfect. I’m glad you had a nice day for it. My MIL is always going but I’m always busy.

    WAYDTGKU: bbt & opk

R/R: I drank too much Saturday night but felt surprisingly fine yesterday. Just sitting here waiting to ovulate, usually it’s cd 12 or 13 but no signs at all yet. Maybe the stress of the last week and specifically Saturday scared it away?? 🤦🏼‍♀️

    WAYDTGKU: EOD

R/R: Woke up this morning with a swollen lip because of cystic acne which I forgot I'm much more prone to when I'm not on birth control. So that's lovely. It's also snowing here. I'm working from home so at least I don't have to drive in it but I still have to walk the dog and I hate being cold. So I'm just generally a little grumpy this morning. I was going to do a run today but I don't want to go out in the cold so I might just do barre or yoga instead.

  • @chindimples04 Good idea to take advantage of better weather! That is quite a temperature drop.

@runningoncookies Sitting outside at a brewery sounds lovely, I hope you had a nice time!

@fameonmain2 Great job on the AM Peloton workout! I rarely get up the willpower to work out before work but I always feel fantastic when I do. I’m sure you feel very productive today.

@emeraldcity1214 I hope the virus clears up before fertile week! Do you both have it or has your husband been having to avoid you? Because that would definitely put a damper on fertile week.

@peytonpedro It does look like you may be in for a delayed ovulation this month. Fingers crossed it comes soon.

@dancingnarwhal Yeah, I would definitely skip running if it is in the 20s! I’m very much a fair weather runner, I end up on the treadmill during the summer and winter pretty regularly.

WAYDTGKU: semi-successful BBT tracking, OPKs, going for EOD this week

R/R: We had a very lovely staycation this weekend at a boutique hotel about half an hour from home. It wasn’t much but it felt like being on a mini-vacation which was a very nice mental break. All in all a good start to FW.

CS/Q: I have been doing a lot of off-time temps in the last week, I need to do better so I can actually see a shift. Bouncing all over the place with the temps.

  • @fitzfizz We are both sick. I actually think he is much further along then me so he should be feeling better soon. I have about 2 weeks before I should ovulate.

    TW
I may ovulate late this month because I have been aggressively trying to get my milk supply back up. It has definitely increased some but I want to get it to a spot where we aren’t close to weaning. I’m not ready for that. Plus he needs my antibodies right now. We haven’t isolated anyone and we are pretty certain we got it from some daycare workers who tested positive after one of my mom groups. There was an explosion of people getting sick after that. To the point they canceled the following meeting and plan to not hold another one until December. Ironically, we have had 2 other exposures in addition to that during the same time frame. Our cases jumped from around 100-200/day to 500-600/ day so it was only a matter of time.
  • @emeraldcity1214  I hope you feel better soon. We have so many cases here and I'm worried that I will be exposed one way or another (I work in education). Hopefully you are both better by your FW

@paytonpedro Hopefully you ovulate soon! This past week was so stressful. I have avoided cable news since Saturday.. I definitely watched wayyyy too much Tues-Sat.

@dancingnarwhal I'd probably skip the run if it were snowing, too! But then again I'll find any reason pretty much to skip running -- I don't know why, but I never can stick with it even if I'm diligent about making time to fit runs in.

@fitzfizz thanks! You're right, I was ridiculously productive today - hopefully that carries over into tomorrow. Your staycation sounds absolutely lovely. Sometimes a weekend is all you need for a reset.
  • @fameonmain2 good for you!! I’m so bad at exercising before work.

@emeraldcity1214 I hope you guys both start feeling better soon

@paytonpedro gahh hopefully the stress of last week doesn’t affect O too much

@dancingnarwhal my whole life is a battle between me and cystic acne...it is the WORST! Mine is definitely hormonal, but I feel like the Clomid and then the progesterone that I take in my LP just exacerbate it throughout my cycle so much more. It’s literally the worst. Hopefully your lip feels better soon!

@fitzfizz that sounds like such a nice mini getaway!
  • @runningoncookies I get cystic acne sometimes. It is so painful. I used to get it more often and I’m pretty sure it was environment because once I left that city it stopped. I get a random one here and there.
  • @fameonmain2 yeahhh I never watch the news. I get my updates from my husband. Since COVID started it just stresses me out and give me more anxiety. I’ve also gotten off social media and have just been a happier person. I was occasionally checking the news though last week and it was poor decision making on my part.

@everyone else- thanks! Yeah this is my first time using opks (correctly) and go figure this is what happen haha. Just [im]patiently waiting.

@dancingnarwhal I hope your lip feels better soon. I still get acne, mostly on my cheeks(maybe cystic? I dunno?), and I know how frustrating that can be. I wish I had advice but I’m still trying to figure it out.

@fitzfizz I’m glad to hear your mini staycation went well!! I’m jealous 🙈 (again?!?) lol. All I want is a night or two away. I bought a new red dress and I’ve been DYING to wear it but my states’ about to be shut down again because of COVID. 😭😭😭

@emeraldcity1214 exposure to.... a virus? Or COVID? I hope you guys are ok and feel better soon! I also hope everything else goes well and you get to where you want/need to be quickly.

  • @runningoncookies I’m glad you were able to still enjoy part of the weekend. Sorry Clomid has you feeling crummy.
@fameonmain2 im so impressed with you getting up to work out early morning! Way to kill it!
@emeraldcity1214 I hope you can kick that virus soon!
@paytonpedro I hope you enjoyed yourself Saturday! Hopefully your positive OPK is right around the corner!
@dancingnarwal cystic acne is the worst!
@fitzfizz looks like you had a good weekend. 😉 Happy FW!

  • @chindimples04 I did a little too much. Haha. Funny, it was actually 74 here today (NYS) which is really really rare and I took the dog for a walk. When I got home I looked at my fall decorations and remembered this, considered for 5 seconds putting our lights up, but couldn’t do it. Haha. I always tell my family nothing Christmas until after thanksgiving because historically that is my favorite holiday and seems to get overshadowed by Christmas. Lol. But I know I’ll regret this decision in a month when my fingers are freezing and I’m screaming at mh to just hurry it up. Lol.
Ugh. It’s not. I just took another opk (#3 for today) and it’s as negative as negative could be.
  • @paytonpedro I'm jealous. I find it so hard to cut back on the social media.. I just get sucked in so easily
