R/R: I’m going to go visit my parents this afternoon. It’s been in the 70s all week so I figured I could get out and hike their trails today before the weather cools off tomorrow. I also have to help my mom with some technology stuff, so I’ll do that while I’m there, too. Only rant is that states are STILL counting ballots. This needs to be over.

CS/Q: Started temping today, don’t have my FF caught up but this is from Premom.

R/R: I went to make my coffee this morning and someone has taken my coffee cup. My second runner up favorite coffee cup is gone too. My spidey senses guess it’s in my husbands truck, so I shot him an angry gif.

CS/Q: totally slacked on starting to temp. MH nicely informed me though that we actually have to DTD to get KU, so there’s that.

@chindimples04 I love that you are getting to go hike. Living in a flat area it really isn’t exciting to hike anymore. I hope you have fun!

@emmylou78 I am also realizing on CD11 that sooner or later we will need to actually HIO to be successful. I had planned on starting last night but my husband was being annoying about election things so I went to sleep instead. 🤷🏼‍♀️

WAYDTGKU: BBT which may work if I can start getting consistent sleep, OPKs when I remember to start them, and HIO when my husband isn’t being annoying (basically I am killin’ it this month...)

R/R: It is officially my 4 day weekend! Planning a staycation and a few restaurants. I have been eating very healthy for life insurance labs that are supposed to be this morning, and I need the lady to show up so I can get on with my weekend.

CS/Q: Not exciting yet

GTKY: Who was the president when you were born? Apparently Regan, but I fully admit I had to look it up.

@fitzfizz it’s not super adventurous terrain, mostly flat honestly, but with deer season in full swing, we might see some wildlife, so I can’t turn that down! I also had to look up the president when I was born. 🤣 And I would have gone to sleep too! Hopefully the election stuff ends so DTD isn’t so tedious.

R/R: the vet I work for is selling his practice and I’m SO STRESSED OUT. I’ve known for a while now but didn’t think it would happen this soon. Today he said he’s close to signing it over and AGHHH. I just hate change. And uncertainty. It could be better but knowing it could be worse is making my anxiety crazy!! Wouldn’t be surprised if this delays my ovulation this month.the worst part is the not knowing and everything is so cryptic we literally won’t know until it happens. Tonight I’m going to drink a bunch of beers and wallow.

Ohhh oh oh!!! We did have 2 little Scottish fold kittens come in this morning. So there’s a positive they were FLIPPING ADORABLE!! And teeny tiny 1.2lb things!! 😍😍😍

CS/Q: feel like ovulation should be happening soon... 🤔

@chindimples04 I just started using Premom but haven’t used fertility friend at all. Which is better? I’ve always used Ovia but it doesn’t have as many perks as Premom. Yay for hiking! That’s one of our favorite things to do!

@paytonpedro I prefer Fertility Friend on almost all counts. I do like the strip reader on Premom, but that’s about it. Even after 5 cycles, I don’t feel like Premom accurately predicts ovulation or AF. I put my data into fertility friend later this morning, as that’s the app I use for my TTC TikTok account and I record me putting in my data. Lol.

@chindimples04 I don’t like that Premom (or Ovia for that matter) doesn’t let you adjust the length of your luteal phase and just assumes it’s 14 days. Which mine is not. I’ll have to check out fertility friend. Thanks!

@paytonpedro Premom now shows my luteal phase as 11 days now, but it took MONTHS for that to happen. Fertility friend adjusted it after one cycle.

@chindimples04 doesn't Premom have a 9 month guarantee on conceiving? 😆 Maybe they could have a shorter guarantee if they analyzed data better

Update: my coffee cup was definitely in MH’s truck and safely back in my hands for this mornings coffee. He also may think I’m slightly ridiculous having a favorite coffee cup (how did he not know though?).

WAYDTGKU: prenatal, temping, tracking CM, I may add OPKs this month just to see which day is my surge.

R/R: I’m sick. Which is why my temps shot up last cycle. I clearly have been fighting this virus since Tuesday. I thought I was getting better yesterday but my entire body aches and I just feel bad all over. We have had 3 different exposures to COVID. After 1 in particular we started getting symptoms. So we are quarantining and assuming we are positive.

CS/Q: Well, my Tempdrop is wrecked at this point. I’m so glad they have amazing customer service because I contacted them again and they sent me a form to fill out about the issues. So I took lots of pictures and gave tons of details and I’m hoping I will have a new sensor in a few weeks. I’m going to try to use my regular BBT but it’s so hard to remember to temp when I wake after using my Tempdrop for so long.

@chindimples04 wow you are quite a bit younger than me. Bill Clinton! 😆 Also, it barely got into the 70’s this summer. Yesterday it finally warmed up to the 20’s and when I stepped outside it felt warm. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I have been needing to put all my snow gear on just to take the puppy outside.

@emmylou78 I also have a favorite coffee cup. It’s more like a coffee bowl because it’s so big but I would be so upset if something happened to it.

@fitzfizz I had to look up the President from when I was born too. I had no clue. I hope you have enjoyed your weekend so far.

@paytonpedro I hope the switchover to a new owner is painless and you luck out with someone great. Also, as far as apps. I wouldn’t rely on an app to interpret or predict anything about your cycle. Have you read Taking Charge of Your Fertility? It’s an easy read and tells you exactly how to interpret your own data. For apps, I really like Kindara because I like the way it shows your CM patterns as a fertile valley or peak. It helps me see what’s going on in my chart much easier.

@chindimples04 No, unfortunately I knew I was out and I have just not felt 100% so I have been trying to rest as much as possible. This virus has kinda snuck up on me and right now I’m feeling really ran down.

Thanks @emmylou78. No clue yet and that’s kind of whats giving me so much anxiety. @emeraldcity1214 my boss now can be kind of snotty sometimes but I’ve been with him almost 10 years so I know what to expect and it doesn’t bother me anymore. My husband has reminded me a few times that maybe this will be a better situation but I’m just so bad with change. Ugh. I don’t track my cm. I regularly have ewcm throughout the month so it doesn’t mean anything for me. I don’t go based off of these apps predictions, one predicted I’d ovulate yesterday and one today so I know they’re both wrong. I just use the as a place to put the data I’ve got so I can “see it on paper”. I’ve even considered actual paper charting but it would just be too much for me.

@paytonpedro I’m not good with change either. So I totally understand. I have tried paper charting. I know some people do it like a bullet journal but I find doing things like more of a chore. I need something open and go. You should try Kindara. I have been using it for 5 years now. I have tried to like FF but I just don’t like the layout compared to Kindara. There is a new app called Read Your Body that I have heard great things about. It isn’t free so it would be something I would get after I’m done TTC. I don’t want to pay for an app that could go unused for 9 months when my free app works just fine.
