Lightening Crotch?

Hi, everymama!

I'm 30 weeks along today and have been having an on and off sharp pain my the nether regions off and on throughout the day.

I've tried timing it but there's not a regular interval. Some hit every minute or two others hit at 10-15 minute intervals. Usually accompanied by baby moving, but not always. 

No other symptoms, just super sharp and painful when they hit, then just kinda achey. Feel like I need to run to the bathroom, but don't necessarily need to go.

This is my second kiddo. Oldest is 10 this year and I don't remember having these with her.

    @chaosgin I think it’s a 2nd child symptom. I didn’t have any issues like that for the first. With this pregnancy it’s constant. I think it’s helping to sleep with a pillow between my legs. I’ve been using an arm chair reading  type pillow instead of splurging on another pregnancy pillow(I gave away my last one).

    Oh my goodness, I am having this too!!!. @chaosgin. Mine started a day ago.
    I am 28 weeks+7, i want to call my OB except others confirm it is normal.
    Although, BH contractions comes to my mind but then...
    @potofgolden I am a FTM and i have been putting a pillow in between my legs.

    @chaosgin I’ve been having it for weeks. My doctor thinks it’s so funny how low she is. It’s painful. I’ve tried all of the things: belly band, pillows, etc etc etc. nothing but sympathy and solidarity from me 😭

    Lightning crotch is no joke! But totally normal. I haven't had too much of that so far, but the round ligament pain? Holy moly, that can take my breath away, and does so frequently! This is baby number 5, and each pregnancy the RLP has gotten worse!

    I experience this kind of situation also when I am bearing with my 3rd baby. It's so painful & annoying.
