  • Goals:
    My goal for this week is to actually set a goal 😆 ha! No but for real, my goal is to do at least 10 minutes of pilates every morning. 15-20 is more ideal but I’ve been slacking bad & I know if I just get back into a groove at all that the longer workouts will be easier. I’ve also gotten off our morning walks since preschool started and man it kills my step count for the day if we don’t get out and do that, so I’m aiming to get in some kind of walk (daily) too. I also really need to be drinking more water so that’s a goal too. 

    Struggle:
    Allll the Halloween candy has been the struggle. I finally got rid of most of it but I’m still not eating super well. I’m finally (thankfully) starting to feel better so I need to buckle down and start eating better too. I haven’t gained a ton of weight so far (just about 5-6lbs) but it’s all in my butt and thighs so pretty noticeable to me 😆 

    Success:
    I had salad for lunch 2 days in a row this week 🙌🏻

  • What's your goal for this week? How's it going?
    I scaled my goal down from working out 4x/week to 3x/week. I'm hoping if I scale it down it won't seem so daunting! I managed to get out for a long walk on Tuesday and I'm trying to do it again today when DD goes to preschool. I also need to drink more water. It's not usually a problem for me!

    What's been a struggle this week? What's a success this week?
    Struggle: FOOD. I ate my feelings so bad yesterday with election anxiety. 
    Success: Meal-planning! I've been sticking with my plan and it makes me feel so happy!
  • What's your goal for this week? How's it going?
    Run 3x, so far so good. I went for a run on Tuesday, a walk on Wednesday, and am getting ready to head out for a run today. The weather here is super nice this week (mid-high 60s) so I'm frantically trying to take advantage of it before it's gone, which will likely be next week.

    What's been a struggle this week? What's a success this week?
    Struggle: I feel like I might be getting a cold or my allergies are bugging me. Yesterday was beautiful and instead of running I took a nap. Then I felt bad about it and went for a walk. Better than nothing but not what I was hoping to accomplish.

    Success: I actually feel pretty good so I've been eating WAY better than I was. I'm snacking less and actually making a decent breakfast and lunch instead of eating frozen crap. I need to try to undo some of the damage that was done in 1st tri!
  • Lol I've eaten so much halloween candy and bought bagels. All of my working out is packing at this point. I have no time for anything else BUT I want to buy a peloton. I know there's a good number of ladies who use them so question regarding the new one vs the old one. I was thinking the old one would be fine, right? I'm hoping to order it right when we close on our house so that I can get into it by the time we move in. I've heard the old one is not taking nearly as long as the new one to be delivered.

  • @kvh22 I have the old one and I love mine. However, I will say if you plan on using your bike screen to do bootcamp, yoga, cardio, strength or any type of workout off the bike you might want to get the new one. I do the other stuff, and I just use an iPad, which works just fine for me. I think it's just a personal preference for whether you want to use the bike screen for other Peloton digital content. 
  • @bbrahmbhatt oo okay that's helpful. I usually cast to my TV and I much prefer that so that'll be nbd. Thank you! I'd also heard it syncs better to the apple watch with the newer one but 1. I don't have one  :D and 2. my friends who do say the old one works fine with it.

  • @kvh22 I have the old one and looove it! doing a stretch right now on it :) it's been great in preg too- so nice to jump on for a short workout when I'm not motivated- I always end it so happy I did it
