WAYDTGKU: OPKs, Tracking CM, Giving a new RE a call this month
R/R: I was so cranky yesterday and not in the mood for B.S. - maybe pre-election jitters? Who knows. I didn’t vote early so I was anxious to get to the polls today to get it handled. So naturally I came right when the polls opened like everyone else ! I should probably come back but I will most likely tough it out. Happy voting all!

WAYDTGKU: PNV, vitamin C and E, OPK, BBT, HIO
R/R: My anxiety is ✨peak ✨ today. I am general afraid for our future today. So that’s fun. I started a TikTok TTC journal, too. I’m not big into written journals, I just never really know what to write. But, with TikTok, I can create videos and share the journey anonymously. I feel like it makes it fun almost? We’ll see how I feel about it in the end, but right now, it’s brought some peace. 🤷🏻♀️
CS/Q: not temping yet. Trying to decide if I start temping on CD5 or CD6. I’ll probably just start Thursday.
@bows22 add me to the Election Day jitters! Hope your line moves quickly!

R/R: I can’t wait for this day to be over. Luckily I early voted a couple of weeks ago, but I’m still just feeling uneasy.
CS/Q: Does anyone here use the CBAD system? I have a friend who is just starting and bought that. It tells her to start checking on CD7, but that seems super early to me.
@bows22 & @chindimples04 also +1 for voting anxiety. I think it’s just my social anxiety in general. I’m going with my dad 🙈

R/R: I have my annual obgyn appt today and so between that and voting, can today be over yet??
CS/Q:
@chindimples04 yup same for the anxiety today. So terrified of another 4 years of this insanity.
@fitzfizz I wish I could hibernate until this was all over. I also voted early.
Month/Cycle: 17/10

WAYDTGKU: temping, prenatals, OPKs, and HIO of course
R/R: sticking around here another day or two before I hop over to the TWW in the hopes of getting my CHs. I am so super anxious about the election today. DH is talking about wanting to watch coverage starting around 9 tonight but I'm not sure how much I can handle. I may bury myself in Animal Crossing for distraction. We voted by mail a few weeks ago any I called our Board of Elections to make sure they were received and good.
CS/Q: slight temp increase today
@fitzfizz I too am wishing for the day to end...now that it’s actually Election Day voting early seems so anti-climactic. Like I’m glad I did it but still...
@paytonpedro hopefully your polling place isn’t too busy!
@gingermama29 I go back and forth about wanting to watch the election coverage later...thinking I’ll switch back and forth between that and finding ways to distract myself!
Month/Cycle: 12/11

WAYDTGKU: Clomid, ovidrel, and IUI again
R/R: Add me to the list of people with election anxiety today ugh. My district has a remote learning day for students, so I’m working from home. It’s nice except since my students are so little, their parents have to be on with them. Since most adults are working today, many of my sessions are cancelling on me. I totally get it, but I really could’ve used the distraction of work today!
CS/Q:
@runningoncookies that's gotta be so challenging with remote learning. I hope you're able to adequately distract yourself today!
@fitzfizz yes, the CBDA has me start that early too. It also measures estrogen and if you don’t start early enough it can get out of whack. I started on like CD10 last cycle and I was too late, even though I didn’t actually ovulate until CD14
@paytonpedro glad you had a short wait!!
@gingermama29 I’m sure we’ll watch the coverage. 4 years ago we went to bed and I woke up in the middle of the night and checked my phone. I think a slow realization is a better method (no matter which way you want it to go) haha
@runningoncookies i hope you are finding a way to keep yourself distracted today! I was thinking of taking a half day today but I don’t know what I’d do other than be anxious on my phone so I get it
@paytonpedro I hope your appointment goes well today! Hopefully it’s low stress!
@gingermama29 I don’t foresee myself sleeping well tonight. Might play Call of Duty with DH so I can virtual relieve stress through gun violence. 🤣 (I do not promote gun violence in any way, just to be clear)
@runningoncookies I’m sorry your distractions keep cancelling. I know the feeling! Virtual learning is so hard!
@bows22 my wait was 30 minutes this morning, too, but for my small town of 9,000 people, that’s a hell of a wait! Glad it went quickly!

@chindimples04 the TikTok journal sounds like a great idea especially if it's something you're doing for yourself / anonymously. Dumb question... do I need a TikTok account to see that?
@fitzfizz I'm with others who commented on CBAD. I would adjust it based on her cycle length (i.e. if she normally ovulates on Day 20, probably starting Day 7 is too early), but the earlier the better to enable catching the estrogen rise.
@paytonpedro Good strategy to go at 11:30! I usually make the mistake of showing up somewhere at opening, only to find out that others also take that approach.
@gingermama29 I hope Animal Crossing keeps your mind off this day.
@runningoncookies I'm 100% with you re: having distraction. I hope you find something to keep your mind occupied.

WAYDTGKU: Um... so this changed: not doing IUI anymore this cycle, so just Letrazole + Trigger + TI. Vitamins and supplements for MH and I; some residual testing for MH.
R/R: rant -- my eggs are stale. 😭More details in the IF thread for anyone who wants to check it out. TL; DR. Had my monitoring ultrasound today, and had 1 follicle at 24mm. The doctor said it's a sign of poor egg quality when follicles respond so quickly to Letrazole/Clomid. She recommended we don't waste money on IUI, do timed intercourse, and move on to IVF. Super bummed but also appreciate that the Dr. is looking out for us. This is not something that happened at the previous clinic.
rave -- we finally hired a product manager for my team yesterday. I (and my team) interviewed this candidates 1.5 months ago, and he's been slowly making his way through the process... mostly trying to make sure it's the right decision for him. He's super qualified, and he had 3 other offers to choose from including one from a direct competitor, so I'm psyched that he picked us.

@chindimples04 sounds like a good way to let off steam. I think I played a lot of Civilization after the last election so I definitely get it.
@acleverusername hugs friend 💕. I'm sure that was difficult news to get today. I'm glad you have a plan going forward and are jumping into IVF.
