R/R: I got up WAY too early this morning and could not fall back to sleep. I hate when that happens. But, it’s Friday!

CS/Q: When I took my bbt this morning, it dipped even lower than yesterday (97.16*). Frustrated, I grabbed my old thermometer and popped it in. Well, that one read 97.91*. Which would you go by? I have noticed the last few days my new thermometer reads my temp VERY quickly suddenly, so it makes me think something is up with it? The temp spike makes sense looking at my chart (spoiler), so I am tempted to just stick with that.

ETA: just did an extremely scientific experiment (lol) where I temped with both thermometers at the same time. I got the same reading from both. Now I don’t know if the first reading was right or the second reading. Ugh. This cycle which started off with such a pretty chart is starting to annoy me.

GTKY: little known fact about me? I once at an entire Grande Meal (10 tacos, 5 hard and 5 soft plus a drink) at Taco Bell in one sitting while in college. I felt pretty accomplished afterwards😂

@daisy528 So frustrating with the thermometer! It’s a tough question to answer because it isn’t reliable to switch thermometers mid cycle (could give you a false shift) but if you think the first one isn’t working you don’t want to continue with it. I would switch and stick with it, but with the knowledge that temps may not be super reliable this month.

R/R: I am determined that today is going to be a better day. We have power and internet back after the hurricane, and no one I know had any major damage. Only one more day of work then it is the weekend!

GTKY: What is one little known fact about you? I can see the images in magic eye’s really easily. Also I had fun this morning going through a google image search finding one I liked.

@Daisy528 that happened last cycle with me. I did switch halfway through but took my temps for that month as a wash.

@fitzfizz I see pretty colors. Will you tell us later what the image should be?

R/R: Is CD 1 a rant!? Had the grand plan to float in the pool with my new book but I woke up and it's chilly out so Im thinking today will be a Netflix/Hulu day.

GTKY: What is one little known fact about you? I'm actually pretty thoughtful and do meaningful gestures. I'm coined "the Ice Princess" by my family and friends because I tend to be pretty dry and cut throat and don't show a lot of emotion.

R/R: I managed to sleep in this morning which was nice but my husband ran off to do some errands when we were supposed to carve pumpkins this morning. Hopefully he’ll be back in time to do it before I have to head into work.

It’s not exactly little known but my go to ice breaker fun fact is that my high school mascot was a pretzel 🥨. You can eat us but you can’t beat us!

R/R: it’s Friday so that’s my rave. My rant is that I’m selling my house and the original purchase agreement had a date of 10/31 but the buyers said the bank messed up something, so the closing date is now pushed back. That means I have to pay another months mortgage.

CS/Q: my thermometer came yesterday but I haven’t taken it out of the box yet

GTKY: What is one little known fact about you? I pretty much never talked in school as a kid due to shyness. I’ve overcome a lot of it, but I’m still an introvert at heart.

@And846 MH is much more emotional than me and openly told me in the beginning of our relationship that his Love Language was physical touch (cuddles, hugs), which is not me at all! I’m more Acts of Service.

@daisy528 that’s pretty impressive, I’m sure along with feeling accomplished you probably felt some other type of way... 💩🤣 Reminds me of the time I ate 2 Big Macs in less than 5 minutes. I have hypoglycemia and was crashing hard and so shaky, and I was like 17 lol

@and846 lol. Float in the pool. That would be nice! It snowed here today. We won’t see a pool for another 7/8 months 😩 unless we got to an indoor water park or hotel lol

R/R: super excited about Halloween tomorrow, it’s my favorite. I’m totally dressing up for work and didn’t mention it to my boss at all 🤣🤣 So it will be fun when I see him in a full witch outfit 🤣🤣🤣 But to be fair it’s just an empire black cotton dress so I can take the hat off if he’s really against it.

GTKY: What is one little known fact about you?

Little known..... this is a hard one. Especially because I’m new here lol. My sister and I made up our own language when we were little and we still know it and speak it. I did gymnastics for 16 years and can put my leg behind my head. I’ve seen inside both of my dogs... that’s a weird one right? Lol. I was a veterinary assistant before an injury and assisted in surgeries for both of them.

And I guess that’s 3 and I broke the rules 🤣🤣

@everyone Sorry to post and ghost with a confusing image. It is just the words “I ❤️ YOU” Most of the images were just random like a shark or whatever, and I wanted to put something positive in case anyone could see it. Also, have none of you done magic eye’s before!? I know I am weird because I can see them easily, but I thought someone else would know how haha
