WAYDTGKU: FF, bbt, OPKs, prenatals, HIO
R/R: No work for me today, but I get to spend my day doing laundry and cleaning my bedroom.
CS/Q: I woke up fully expecting a temp rise, but instead got a drop. I’m guessing maybe tomorrow I’ll be able to move over to TWW? I’ve been sleeping like crap the last 4-5 days, so I really hope those temps are accurate. I was really hoping O was yesterday because we have HIO a lot the last few nights, and I just want to go to bed tonight😂
@daisy528 oh that is really weird about your chart. I agree that it seems like you will get your temp jump tomorrow. That will be kind of crazy if it ends up being a false surge. Enjoy your day off of work!

WAYDTGKU: OPKs, Tracking CM, Giving a new RE a call this month
R/R: DH came to the conclusion that “you can’t be cool AND safe” 😂 so we are returning the 4Runner. He did some calling around and we went to look at cars last night and ended up working out a deal where we will pay less for a new Explorer than we were paying for the used 4Runner. He’s never had a new car so he’s still pretty excited and we both feeling better about the car situation. In some sad news that I will put in a spoiler for
TW - pet death (not mine)
CS/Q:
@bows22 glad you were able to trade in the unsafe car and get a new one! So sorry about your IL's dog.

WAYDTGKU: temping, prenatals, OPKs, and HIO of course
R/R: DH has strep now too so he's home with me. I'm feeling significantly better - no sore throat any more - but still waiting for my covid test results. The guy indicated possibly tomorrow for my results. I'm hoping to get some stuff done around the house today in the meantime. We'll see how productive I end up being.

WAYDTGKU: bbt
R/R: I bought a new bbt thermometer yesterday and I’m so excited, it has a back light! Moving on up! I think my other one is broken because I’ll get 3-4 days of the exact same temp in a row. I also bought some opks and I was hesitant because I don’t want the confusion that comes with reading them but I’m interested in being able to identify when I ovulate better. This will be my first time really using them so we’ll see. And I got fertility tea. Pretty eager for it to all come in but thinking I’ll miss this cycle with it by the time I get it next week.
CS/Q:
@daisy528 I wish I could help, but I’ve never charted and used opks together. Your chart looks like you should get that rise soon, I agree. But the opks throw me. Not looking forward to this exact situation for myself lol. But at least once you get that rise you’ll know you ovulated. And it sounds like you’re working on getting the job done in the bedroom! Hopefully you can sleep soon. Haha.
@bows22 that’s exciting that your H will be getting a new car! I’ve never had one either but hopefully someday it’ll happen. Also, so sorry about your in-laws loss. I’ve grown up with dogs so know how hard that can be.
Month/Cycle: 1/1

WAYDTGKU: PNV, OPKs, HIO
R/R: Another faint OPK this morning so no real sign of O yet. I went on a major online shopping spree at bath and body works over the weekend and my shipment came last night so now my house smells amazing on this dreary morning.
@gingermama29 I’m glad you’re feeling better! It’s so weird how the timing for results varies. We got tested on Tuesday (I am being forced into the office on Monday and have to get 2 tests 48 hours apart since I was in FL) and had our results this morning.
@paytonpedro I think the OPKs are less confusing when you are also temping. I think you will like having the extra info! What BBT did you get? that is a great idea about a gift. They are kind of particular so I don’t know if I’d be able to find something that would suit their taste but I’m going to look tonight.
@bows22 LOL @ your hubby's decision to return the 4Runner. He sounds like a smart cookie! Hopefully you'll love the new Explorer. My sis had one for 4 years and loved it.
@gingermama29 glad to hear you're feeling better. And I guess YH coming down with strep was to be expected.
@paytonpedro I hope your new bbt thermometer is more reassuring than the old one. Can confirm that the lit up screen is an excellent feature.
@pharmd93 amazing smells are so comforting; enjoy your haul.

WAYDTGKU: Letrazole + IUI (including banking sperm ahead of time). More testing for MH... after next week, he's have the fullest of (in)fertility workup as one can get. All info sourced from The Egg Whisperer. So many vitamins and supplements for both of us.
R/R: One great thing about medicated cycles... my periods are super short now. 1 H, 1 M, and 1 L days, followed by a couple days of spotting. I used to have 7-day periods. This is nice.
Dinner at my friend's was really nice! Of course MH and I were both glad that we went.
CS/Q: I'm done w/ charting and OPKs. Although, I do have a "cheat". My hubby gave me an Oura ring for my bday and it measures temps; but it doesn't give an absolute measurement; just a delta from the baseline. This is just enough to confirm O, but not enough to read into. I was really abusing FF's compare chart function, much to my mental detriment.
