R/R: **TW loss mentioned** I briefly had a thought this AM when I woke up to AF that if we are successful this month I would be due during August which is theoretically peak hurricane season. Last year the naive Fitzfizz who thought she could plan pregnancy timing intentionally waited to start trying to avoid being due during hurricane season. I was very happy with my late October due date, because there is no way you get a hurricane in late october! My original due date is tomorrow, we are in the direct path of a hurricane that is supposed to hit today, and the hospital I was supposed to deliver at gets serious flooding. Best laid plans 🤷🏼‍♀️

We’re supposed to get a big storm Friday/ this weekend- right in time for Halloween. My kids are finally old enough to understand Halloween but still little and I don’t need them sick. Between Covid and now this I don’t know what we’re even going to do.

CS/Q: which, uh, temping method do you ladies use? I’ve always done vaginal because I sleep with my mouth open sometimes. Do you wait until heavy af is done?

@paytonpedro I don't usually temp during AF. I'm feeling the same way about Halloween this year.

R/R: Another day home with strep. My COVID test is at noon today. I'll no longer be contagious for strep after today so I just have to wait for my negative before I can go back to school. I'm expecting to be out tomorrow but I guess we'll see how quickly I get results.
In the meantime, still no sign of O.

@gingermama29 thanks for answering that question! Thinking honestly of just doing a pizza and movie night. I hope you feel better soon and your Covid test comes back quickly and negative!!! Mine took 9 days but that was back in July, in NYS. My sisters husband just had one done and it took 2 days.

@paytonpedro thanks! The registration website said 3-5 days for results. Hopefully it'll be less. The testing site is about a quarter mile from my house though so that's super convenient. A pizza and movie night sounds awesome!

R/R: I got my new iPad, and I love it! If anyone has been interested in purchasing something from Gazelle, I recommend them. I thought the price of this iPad was too good to be true, but it’s in great condition! (ETA to remove TW)

CS/Q: temp dipped again today, but my OPK was finally negative today. I’ll hang out here until I get crosshairs. Def HIO tonight too, just to cover all my bases.

@paytonpedro pizza and a Halloween movie night sounds like a great idea. Something like Hocus Pocus maybe?
@gingermama29 I weep for you and your lack of O. Also strep throat... yuck. Getting sick while there's a pandemic ranging is extra discomforting. Hopefully you get those test results back quick.
@daisy528 I've never heard of Gazelle; will have to check them out!

WAYDTGKU: Letrazole + IUI (including advance sperm freeze); bunch more testing for MH to complete his (in)fertility workup. Tons of vitamins and supplements for both MH and I. HIO just for fun in between all the "collections" MH needs to do.

R/R: I needed a few days' break from TB but I'm back! An old friend from home (Canada) invited MH and I over for dinner tonight out of the blue, so we're doing that. I've gotten pandemic-lazy and don't really want to drive that far (~50 min; cause The Bay Area is so sprawled out), but I haven't seen him in a couple of years (he just moved to the Bay Area in June), so I'm forcing myself.

CS/Q: I've decided to stop charting completely since this is our last IUI attempt before moving on to IVF. I'm also not doing OPKs since it's a monitored cycle and I'm just tired of POAS.

R/R: Really not feeling the pitch-black mornings!! Driving to my office felt like I was driving through midnight.

CS/Q: Temp rose significantly this morning (on my desktop so can't easily share the chart) so I'm happy about that!! Will be moving over to TWW tomorrow after another high temp.

@acleverusername Hocus Pocus is definitely a favorite in my house. We’ve been watching it since August 😂🙈🎃 have fun at your dinner! Totally hear you on pandemic lazy. That’s how I felt about the small get together I went to on Saturday. Like do I REALLY have to wear a bra?! 🤣

@canucklehead123 I should look into it! But everything I’ve been seeing is drive through, like drive through trunk or treats and that’s not really my vibe. What time do you start work? I think what’s worse than driving in pitch black is driving into the sun just as it’s coming up, so I hope it’s pitch black for me honestly lol. I just work on saturdays and it’s been different every week. Day light savings time does end this weekend so maybe it will change, I can never remember lol.

@paytonpedro I drove to work at 8:00am this morning but it was also very cloudy and snowy so that contributed to the darkness - it's usually not pitch black lol! It'll be lighter in the am and darker earlier after daylight savings I think! So like we'll now be driving HOME from work in pitch black LOL

@acleverusername I hope you have fun with the dinner. If you are anything like me it is hard to motivate yourself to go, but then you will have fun when you are there.

@canucklehead123 I’m also originally from BC and have never been further east in Canada than Calgary. (Definitely the best coast haha)

One big bonus of the hurricane is I got off work early! It does look like we will probably lose power, but it is only a category 1 so we will be fine. Annoying, but not that big of a deal. I may not be back to post when we lose power or internet.
