So far, I have plans for shepherd's pie, taco salad and baked haddock. I will probably need one more idea so looking forward to seeing what other people are doing!
I am a creature of habit and snacks are still dominating my life at this stage. I made some buffalo chicken dip for lunch and now I am snacking on bugles dipped in goat cheese (it sounds gross, and I don’t even like goat cheese but it’s hitting the spot).
Last night we had Red Robin and I got my favorite salad, and I’m not sure what we have in store for dinner the rest of the week. That’s the husband’s department. 😉
Also I really want a cookies and cream milkshake from shake shack. That is all. 😂🤰
I made a beef stroganoff yesterday, which was pretty good. Today I'm making tacos and tomorrow I plan to make stir fry. That is pretty much all I have planned, so we'll see how far that gets us lol.
Oh, also I want crispy chocolate chip cookies, taco bell (I don't even really like taco bell!) and strawberry shakes. I have been trying not to indulge much though.

Last night I made a vegan casserole with a ranch dressing and we ended up finishing it off tonight. Tomorrow I think black bean and sweet potato burgers and fries, and then DH works the evening shift the rest of the week, so foods my kids will eat. Probably like spaghetti, baked tofu and rice and maybe even a pizza if I feel up to making it.
So I had such a weird craving last week and it totally hit the spot. I had a bowl of baked beans and slices of pickles mixed into it with French fries. It was seriously so weird and good at the same time.
@theletlers your bean pickle fries bowl sounds so pregnant of you! 😂 Those things all sounds great though. I’ve been loving French fries recently after not eating them much the past year or so!
My cravings and thus our meals are still all over the place. DH did our grocery order tonight and I was joking that we should just eat ramen for the rest of the month (we’ve had a ton of random expenses this month - teeth, cars, etc). But then we both actually wanted ramen so he got some of that. I still want tacos. I mostly just want food that we don’t have here, but I’m trying to seriously limit ordering (or asking DH to order) food because we need to save money. But mm pizza and wings and fries. 😍
Food-related question: what are you guys eating for breakfast these days? I have been rotating between scrambled eggs and then egg muffins. I’m getting tired of eggs, but also need good protein to start my day or else I end up feeling bad by mid-morning.
yes I need breakfast ideas too! I am eating wake up wraps from Dunkin donuts or bacon/gouda sandwiches from starbucks like every single day, it's bad haha. I was eating oatmeal in the beginning of pregnancy but then I got tired of it. Then I was eating eggo waffles lol and I was like alright, I gotta stop this. Would love breakfast ideas!
Sunday night DH and I made chicken noodle soup from scratch in the instant pot - it was super yummy! (we make our own stock really easily using the carcass from a rotisserie chicken). Last night we ordered takeout, I had an autumn salad that had mixed greens, apples, goat cheese and dried cranberries - it was delish. I got chicken on it but the chicken was a mix of white and dark meat which I thought was really weird and it freaked me out so I didn't eat it haha. I just assume when chicken is on salad it is just going to be a grilled chicken breast.
@bblair24 I have an egg & toast & tea every single morning (and literally have been doing so since college!!). I’m with you on needing protein too! A waffle with PB or oatmeal with PB are usually my go-to mid-morning snacks.
