  • Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD: 20

    WAYDTGKU: prenatals, OPKs, HIO

R/R: I feel like my OPKs are getting even lighter and now I’m questioning whether I missed O or if it really just hasn’t happened yet. I guess this cycle is more just a learning experience than anything. I work 12 hour shifts the next 2 days so may not be around but my sister is coming to visit this weekend which I’m very excited about!

  • Loading the player...
  • @pharmd93 you might not have O'd yet, LH can rise in anticipation of O but stress or other external factors can delay it. Keep doing OPK's! Without temping it is hard to know if you missed it or not.

    Month/Cycle: 11/12

    CD: 11

WAYDTGKU: PNV & PNV, OPK's, CM and getting my ducks in a row for medicated cycle

R/R: getting a pap and blood work today in anticipation of medicated cycle next month. My RE requires an up to date pap and I couldn't find one in my records so I thought I'd just go get a new one. There is also the immunization blood work and hopefully I don't end up in a @inthewoods23 MMR vaccine debacle! I had a dud of an OPK this morning so I have to retake that at some point today. I'm already over this cycle.

    CS/Q: none

Sept 2020: HSG possible blocked right tube
    Nov 2020: Letrozole + TI - BFN
    Dec 2020: Letrozole + TI - BFP!!! EDD 9/18

  • @pharmd93 have fun with your sister this weekend!
@krash_ I hope you don’t have deal with any vaccine issues, and I’m still hoping this cycle will be it for you!

    Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD: 9

WAYDTGKU: FF, bbt, OPKs, prenatals, HIO EOD

R/R: Rant - Still waiting on a call back from the cable company, but supposedly that’s happening at noon today. Thankfully, our living room tv already has a box, so it’s not like we’re were totally TV-less. Rave - my weekend started today, so I am trying to get my cleaning done today and tomorrow so I can actually relax this weekend.

CS/Q: still managing to getting consistent temp times. OPKs are weird lol are they always supposed to be super light? I would guess so since I am still early in my cycle, but it just feels like I am wasting them at this point (granted I got cheapies so it’s not the end of the world)

Oof busy morning, finally on a bit of a lunch break!

@krash_ what is an MMR vaccine debacle? Uncertainty over whether you've had one?

@pharmd93 Keep testing - I found that until I actually got a clear positive for myself, I was always unsure of what I was looking for... and then it happened and it was like "yah that's it".  Are you testing a few times a day?

@daisy528 yes my OPKs are quite light right up until 2 or 3 days before O then they start to get a bit darker - once you get more familiar with your cycle you could probably better estimate when to start using them so that you don't feel you're wasting them!

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD: 13

    WAYDTGKU: temping, opks

R/R: My rave is that I have made it all week without wine - I have been really trying to not turn to wine after a stressful work day and look for healthier coping mechanisms and this week has been going really well for me in that regard - despite having a CRAZY week at work so *yahoo*, sleep is better, feeling more productive and motivated at work, feeling less anxiety... Iksokapi ("it's all good" in the Blackfoot language which is one of the Indigenous languages spoken in Treaty 7 territory).

CS/Q: Welp another high temp this morning - going to stay here a little while longer while things make themselves more clear because I have had no other signs of O - none of my usual symptoms, nothing but negative OPKs and CM is only starting to build in its fertile qualities *shrugggg*  Reallllly hope O is not for a couple of days because if it was indeed on CD 11, this month will have been a total write-off :(:(

  • @daisy528 as you use OPK's more, hopefully you don't need to, you will learn how your LH surges and what that looks like. You could get a bunch of negatives and then a few high ones before a positive or you could get mostly negatives an then one blazing positive. Keep doing the OPK's once a day and then as they get darker, closer to O, do them 2-3 times a day. This is why we get the Amazon cheapies. Also I use the Premom app that you take a picture of your OPK and it will measure the contrast of the test and control lines to give you what they call a T/C ratio or basically how positive it is. Then it acts kind of like the ovulation monitors by giving you a low, high or peak. I apparently have a lot to say about OPK's.

@canucklehead123 Inthewoods had to get an updated MMR (measles, mumps and rubella in the US) vaccine before TTC because rubella can cause all kinds of mutations and then there was like a shortage or something so she was basically benched for two months waiting for a freaking routine vaccine.

Re: wine, I don't drink much anymore (found out in July that MH is an alcoholic) and I feel so much better. The few times I have had wine recently I don't sleep well and I wake up hung over after just one or two glasses. I wish I would have seen some weight loss from cutting out those calories but at least I'm feeling better.

  • @krash_ ooh that sucks, I hope you are fine!! Or at least that you can get a quick vaccine if you need one.... Just watched a Call the Midwife ep. on rubella in pregnancy actually...do NOT recommend, I was weeping the entire episode.

  • Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD: 7

WAYDTGKU: FF, HIO EOD, waiting on BBT and OPKs.

R/R: I am still spotting this month. I hate spotting. I would rather have full flow than spotting. Plus, I won't spot all day until I get home, then I'll spot all evening. That's just super annoying and messing HIO. I feel gross when I'm bleeding at all.

@krash_ I need to get my MMR titer too since I'm switching fertility clinics! I am hoping it also doesn't turn into a "situation"; that said, maybe that's the luck we both need to get KUed! It worked for @inthewoods23! 🤣

@artistlife I detest spotting; that's my version of a "sanitary crisis".

  • @canucklehead123 yeah I’m testing twice daily so I shouldn’t miss my surge whenever it happens. I definitely haven’t gotten a positive thus far and I’ve been testing since about CD 7 or so. I just never had cycles this long before BC (which was almost a decade ago admittedly) and I had a nice 28 day cycle after stopping my BC so these longer cycles are just surprising to me but maybe it’s my new normal.
