    FTM/STM/STM+: Hoping to finally be a FTM!

    Team Green/Pink/Blue/Finding Out: Definitely finding out - should know this week 😁

    Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: A macaroon, haha

    Upcoming appointments: OB Checkup tomorrow and a private scan on Oct. 26th for some ultrasound glamour shots to soon share the news with close family!
     
    How are you feeling?: Have been surprisingly nauseous this week...I kind of thought it might start tapering off but it's going strong. 

    Rants/Raves: I feel guilty for feeling it, but I cannot wait to get past the first trimester. 1st tri has not been kind to me in the past and I'm so thrilled that everything seems to be going well so far in this pregnancy! I'm feeling anxious though to get my genetic blood test results back. Should be any day now. 

    Questions: What should I start focusing on, planning, or doing during the 2nd tri, which I hear is the "honeymoon phase" of pregnancy? 😁

    GTKY: What was your favorite vacation that you've taken before in your life? What made it your favorite? Definitely my honeymoon!! We spent 10 days in Tanzania, summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro which was both beautiful and difficult, as well as spending a few days on safari. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

    Team Green/Pink/Blue/Finding Out: Finding out this week as well. Did my genetic testing almost 2 weeks ago so am just waiting to hear back. 

    Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: Plum 

    Upcoming appointments: Next appt is Nov. 11th 

    How are you feeling?: I feel like my energy is very slowly coming back. Still pretty tired. Also feel the nausea might be starting to get slightly better. Not feeling nauseous all day anymore but nausea is definitely still there. 

    Rants/Raves: I am excited for the second semester. Would like to get past this first semester nausea and be in the “safe zone”. 

    Questions:
    GTKY: What was your favorite vacation that you've taken before in your life?  
    My favorite vacation that could realistically be done now was Maui, Hawaii. So relaxing and quiet. The snorkeling is amazing. There are giant turtles that swim alongside you.

    Yay @texasgal87 - due date twin! Glad to hear your nausea is getting a little better. Mine has gotten worse this week 🤢 Haha.  I've never been to Hawaii but it's 100% on my bucket list!

    @ruby0902 wow! Kilimanjaro?! That. Is. Awesome. Also, yes, 2nd tri is the honeymoon phase of pregnancy. I would slowly start collecting for your hospital bag, so that you don’t feel rushed, get all the things you will want, and have it ready to go mid-pregnancy. That’s just me though. I got this new super soft robe and slippers that were so amazing after I had the baby. Also, granny panties, comfy nursing pjs for that bag. I recommend a dress style pj just in case you end up with a c-section. The hospital gives you these disposable mesh underwear and they’re ok at first, but they start irritating my skin after a day. And giant ‘overnight’ pads, the hospital ones are just ok. 
    If you are going to decorate a baby room, start planning and decorating!

    How are you feeling?: I have really bad indigestion so I can barely eat more than like 5 bites of anything🙄 

    Rants/Raves: I finally told my parents and we're telling my husband's mom tonight! 

    Questions: None unless someone has top
    GTKY: What was your favorite vacation that you've taken before in your life? What made it your favorite? Alaska! It's just the most beautiful place and has such a different vibe. I'm also Alaskan Native so it's one of the few places I can go and be immersed in my culture.

    Good thinking @yellingbanana - I love your pj suggestions and seems like a good idea to pack during a less stressful time in the pregnancy. I'm new to all this and it's so exciting! I got my NIPT results back today (everything's normal!) and it has the gender in it but I haven't peeked yet because I promised my husband we could find out together. I have the envelope now but he said he "wasn't ready yet..."  -- he better be ready by this evening or it looks like I'll be finding out without him 🤣😂  I'm really just starting to process that I might get to actually go through this pregnancy. I'm so happy ♡

    How are you feeling?: annoyed at everything 
    Rants/Raves: I have so much more energy during the day! And so little as soon as the sun sets. 
    Questions: who have you guys told or not told yet? 
    GTKY: What was your favorite vacation that you've taken before in your life? What made it your favorite?
    This is tough. I think I have to say the Olympic National Park. It’s not that far from me, has a rainforest, beaches, AMAZING hikes, and a beautiful mountain range where my husband and I got married. It was also our very first vacation together 15 years ago.

    @nbcarlson Alaska is amazing! That’s cool that you are native. My husband travels there for work regularly and we went with him two years ago around Halloween. The scale of the landscape there is just impossible to describe.

    @ruby0902 I’m SO happy for you guys! Having a daughter is wonderful, of course so are boys, but I feel like it brings about a whole new side to a man.

    Edit to add- this is an old old name from maybe when I first started using the bump?? It’s supposed to be julianne0, which is what I usually go by here! I’m gonna figure this out guys lol and I’ll be back as julianne0!!

    I’ve been trying to post for days!! I kept getting logged out and once I logged in I wasn’t able to post!! Ugh

    FTM/STM/STM+: This will be my 3rd

    Upcoming appointments: Ultrasound was today, I go again in about a week

    How are you feeling?: MUCH better this week. I can’t finally eat real foods, way less nausea, still some indigestion

    Rants/Raves: No rants or raves here- I don’t usually have those lol

    GTKY: What was your favorite vacation that you've taken before in your life? What made it your favorite?
    Probably my honeymoon to Bermuda. It was my first (and only) time out of the country and it was a lot of fun. DH and I were supposed to go to Barcelona in November but had to cancel. I’m really looking forward to traveling again!
