    What habits, goals, or resolutions are you focusing on this week? To run AND stay on my diet.

    How's everything going? I can never seem to do both. I actually ran 4 times last week, but I ate more than I should have and now up 2 lbs. Sheesh. 

    What has you motivated or struggling this week? Struggling with the fact that the scale was up this morning. I know logically a small gain is insignificant, but I am so close to my goal it is annoying to be up. 

    What's a "small win" you have from last week? I ran 4 times! And the weather was exceptional for running this weekend so I actually enjoyed it.

  • @fitzfizz Thanks for your approval of the gif!😄 Your Newbie thread gif was awesome as well! —I just didn’t want to throw off the flow of that thread by commenting. Great job on the running last week! I hear you on the scale, but try to ignore it. It will likely go down soon—specially if you’re able to keep to the diet this week. Git it gurl! 😄

    What habits, goals, or resolutions are you focusing on this week? I need to get moving again! I’ve had 2 weeks of fairly little movement. Need to get back into my habit of daily walks. 

    How's everything going? Fine. Been stressing about work (currently avoiding it by being on TB lol). Trying to get back into my healthy diet. Doing better, but not as strict as I was before. 

    What has you motivated or struggling this week? The more I sit, the more I want to sit. It’s been blazing hot recently—hotter than any summer day—which makes me not want to go outside or exercise. Im motivated by the numbers being up on my scale after 2 sedentary weeks—need to change that this week! 

    What's a "small win" you have from last week? I got a ton of sleep this past week after being seriously deprived the week prior. So now I’m aiming for at least 8 hours a night this week, minimum. Also, I had a headache for 2 weeks straight & it finally went away!

    @fitzfizz congrats on running! That’s awesome! Keep in mind, with running, you may be replacing some fat with muscle, so it may take some time to see the scale move, but it will!
    @keikilove I feel so much better when I get a decent amount of sleep! Our bodies need it so much!

    What habits, goals, or resolutions are you focusing on this week? 
    Our healthy diet and being soda free

    How's everything going? I ate a lot of chicken fries this week. 🙈 But I also cooked a decent amount. Still soda free!

    What has you motivated or struggling this week? I downloaded a countdown app on my phone and seeing the number of days soda free has been a big motivation! The struggle gets real in the weekends when I’m by myself and *TW LC* have to try to cook with DD clung to me. I find myself eating out a lot on weekends.

    What's a "small win" you have from last week? 18 days soda free! Woohoo! 🎉

  • @fitzfizz I admire runners! I feel like it's one of those habits I WANT to have but can never make it happen lol. I know it's hard to exercise AND diet. Exercising makes you extra hungry! But a small gain isn't too bad and you'll likely lose it just as quickly! 

    @keikilove well no one wants to move in the heat! I'm glad you're getting good sleep and no more headaches! 

    @chindimples04 congrats on being soda free! That's one I've always struggled with. But I switched to diet a couple years ago so that's progress, right? 😂

    What habits, goals, or resolutions are you focusing on this week?  Eating healthier, as in coming at home and moving more

    How's everything going? Good! Haven't ordered takeout in 2 weeks!

    What has you motivated or struggling this week? Officially getting ready to TTGP so need to be on my A game and stop eating so much crap 

    What's a "small win" you have from last week? I had a vegetable at every meal 🥳
  • @fitzfizz Great job with running so much! That's always so frustrating with the weight gain, but I'm sure it'll come off. 

    @keikilove I hear you on struggling, it's hard when you're stressing and busy with other things

    What habits, goals, or resolutions are you focusing on this week? Exercise. Last week I was decent with diet (except for the weekend) but awful with exercise. 

    How's everything going? Ok, last week was a bust fitness-wise between trainings all week and stomach issues (which wiped me out entirely)

    What has you motivated or struggling this week? I always have a hard time getting "back on track" after being a little lazy. Need to just do it. 

    What's a "small win" you have from last week? Said stomach issues meant that I lost some weight last week, despite no exercise! Which was then totally negated over the weekend, but oh well
  • Holding myself accountable and celebrating small wins: I went for a fast-paced 25-minute walk this morning.  I am going to try to go out again this late afternoon.

    I’m back from a sunset walk. Had to drag myself out but feeling great now that it’s done. My next focus is stopping eating sugar this week. It’s been bad. 
  • @keikilove thanks for the accountability! Way to rock the exercise! Still soda free! 3 weeks today! ❤️ Healthy eating is going well! We did order a pizza on Monday because after buying the car, it was getting late and *TW LC* DD was starving by then. I forgot a snack for her so she was very hangry! *end TW* Other than the pizza, we have eaten at home all other days/meals with lots of veggies, fruits, and whole grains. As far as your sugar goal, we have focused a lot in our added sugar. I’ve been trying to keep added sugar under 25-30 g a day, which has been easier without soda. I found cutting back on added sugar has made me feel a lot better!

    @chindimples04 3 weeks soda-free!!! Congrats! That’s how long it takes to break a habit so you should be good to go.😀 Great job on the eating at home too. #Goals! Sounds like you’re doing amazing on the sugar limits too.  As far as tracking sugar intake, I don’t know how people keep track of the grams (or counting carbs, or calories, etc.). I could never take the time to do that lol. But I’m trying to back off the snacking of prepared stuff, which is where my sugar habit lies. 
  • @keikilove because we are dairy free, I have to read labels on everything so I just look at added sugar while I’m at it. I realized the granola bars I was eating had my entire days worth of added sugar in them. 🙈 Ah! Pre-prepared is so much easier, though! 🤣 You’re going to kill it, no matter how you go about it!
