Re: COVID-19

  • @mariana_9524 Im so sorry to hear that! That must be terrifying!
I haven’t had a test symptoms really, but I work in a school in person so I’m always always worried about it.

How are you feeling?  I don’t know much about it because I’m not a doctor and I don’t think they know a whole lot about it either. But I imagine If your symptoms aren’t bad and the baby is as developed as it is there Would be less chances of complications.

I hope you’re ok and your immune system is working hard and you recover quickly!

  • @mariana_9524 I’m so sorry to hear you’re sick! From everything I’ve heard so far, it seems like babies born to moms who have had COVID are generally just fine, especially if the diagnosis comes late in the pregnancy. I read that it can pass through the placenta but it’s very rare and even if it does, it doesn’t seem to affect baby. The biggest concern would be if mom has a drop in blood oxygen as a result of her lungs not functioning 100%, but again this is more of a concern earlier in baby’s development.

The most important thing is to take care of yourself so you can get better quickly. Hoping for a speedy recovery!
