WAYDTGKU: temping, prenatals, OPKs, and HIO of course

R/R: DH and I had a nice quiet weekend at home. He starts his new position today at his job (his promotion!!) which is exciting! He's a bit nervous/anxious but I know he'll rock this new position. Still no sign of O. I'm so frustrated with this marathon cycle.

@gingermama29 Yay for YH’s first day in the new position! That is very exciting. So sorry about this never-ending cycle. Any word on whether your dr will change the plan for things coming up? I can’t imagine you’d want to sit through another cycle or two that could be this long...

R/R: We pick up DHs new car today! I am so freaking excited! The heated seats will feel GREAT today since the high is only 33! Also, semi rave on my body for possibly regulating and ovulating closer to normal, but semi rant because I was v unprepared for that!

CS/Q: I had a NEAR positive OPK last night and blazing positive and a temp rise this morning. I wasn’t expecting it until Wednesday or Thursday, so I didn’t POAS as much as I usually do.

@gingermama29 that’s awesome about yhs promotion! Congrats! I’m sorry about this long cycle, i imagine you’re super frustrated, especially since those months of BC were supposed to help. *hugs*

R/R: Sorry I was Mia basically all week last week. It was such a busy week with preparing our home site. We moved out our old house, and now my FIL is working on this devil sycamore stump. We had to dig all of the roots for the foundation, and get rid of the stump. It’s been a ton of work. And I’ve been staying at their house so not a lot of time to browse. 😬 Other than that, it’s been good. I’ve been in the dumps about not being KU again, especially after TW

One of my friends announced her pregnancy. But she had been ttc for as long as we have so I’m super super excited for her! Just a little jealous, and bummed about my own problems.

But I’m going to keep trucking! I’m thankful to be so busy lately.

@chindimples04 Yay for the new car with heated seats and O! It was a high of 31 here yesterday and the heated seats were amazing!
@photographerwife your feelings are valid. You can be happy for your friend and also feel sad you're not celebrating the same.

R/R: We are supposed to get like 2" of snow tomorrow I need to get motivated with work. I feel like I have the same non update every day because I feel so blah about work and everything. I wish there was something to look forward to but even the holidays are up in the air.

@photographerwife ooof that stump sounds rough. I'm sorry you're feeling down. It's so hard when you're happy for someone else but can't silence that voice inside that's sad for yourself. I've definitely been struggling with that a lot lately. I feel like I'm seeing announcements everywhere all of a sudden. Hugs to you.

@krash_ I definitely get how you feel with not having any real updates. I hope things look up soon and you can get motivated with work too.

R/R: AF is gone, so I took my first OPK today. I am excited to see if I learn anything new this cycle from using them. Plus I am going to try and be more consistent with my temps.

CS/Q: nothing worth seeing just yet

@gingermama29 congrats on DH’s promotion! I am sorry there is still no sign of O – you must be getting so frustrated.

@chindimples04 heated seats are the BEST! I used mine this morning!

@photographerwife I am glad you have been keeping busy. And those roots do not sound like a fun job at all!

@krash_ I agree. I wish I knew what we were doing for the holidays, but it’s all so up in the air right now. I am guessing it’ll likely just be immediate family, but I am sad that there won’t be holiday parties and what not!

@canucklehead123 I hope your day gets better!!

@daisy528 hey, I’m not sure what time it is where you live, but OPKs are best used between 11 am and 4 pm. Less likely to get false negatives and positives during that time frame. When they start to darken, then I start using mine 3 times a day. 🤣🤪
@canucklehead123 that temperature sounds disgusting! 🥶🥶🥶
@krash_ I think stopping temping will be a lot less anxiety inducing! Congratulations!
@photographerwife ugh, I understand those feelings whole-heartedly. Your feelings are 100% valid. Being excited and sad is exactly how I would expect someone to feel. ❤️ Hugs, friend.

@chindimples04 good to know! I will have to retake this afternoon then when I get out of work. I was surprised to see a faint line on mine this morning already, so I will see how it looks this afternoon. Any other OPK tips, send them my way😂

@daisy528 what brand are you using? On mine, easy@home, I always have a line. But it gets pretty dark two days before ovulation day.

@chindimples04 I got wondfos this time around. I’m guessing they’re probably similar? Going to retake once I get home so I can see if it differs. Guess I’ll be peeing on these at work🤷🏼‍♀️

@daisy528 probably. You just want the test line as dark or darker than the control line. When who I get home is probably fine. They just don’t usually recommend FMU.

@daisy528 Yay for using OPKs. You’ll probably find them really helpful. They tend to always have a faint test line next to the stronger control line. Then the test line gets much darker as ovulation approaches. You’ll figure it out quickly.

AFM, Based on temps, I think this will be my last day in WTO. I expect to get crosshairs with tomorrow’s temp & slide on over to TWW.

R/R: Rave: Gorgeous day here today! Rant: Have to spend most of it finishing a work project.

CS/Q: Big temp spike today, despite sleeping with just a sheet & 2 fans on. Heart rate is up too, hoping these are all good signs that continue.

@chindimples04 Yep, CD18. You are becoming quite the expert! I usually ovulate around cycle days 10-13 so this was especially late
