I’ll go, I guess. I have an obsession with baby names, I honestly have since I was a kid... I bought one of those tiny baby name booklets in the supermarket check out with my allowance and devoured it! I’m less than 6 weeks along and we have a solid list of names going, and some preliminary front runners. My SIL is pregnant and announcing the sex and maybe name in a few weeks and I’m so anxious to see what she picks and *really* hope that she *does* announce the name just in case it’s on my list.

@disgruntled_pelican I hear you! I caught myself looking at baby names the other day. Told myself I need to chill out a little bit.

@disgruntled_pelican I also love looking at baby names but there are so few that my husband and I can agree on. We have quite a few girl names we like but not boy names. It was so hard to even come up with one for our son.

We have known each other since kindergarten so there are a ton of boy names that are "tainted" by kids we grew up with  :D

@artsiefartsie My husband and his family know EVERYONE so we had a lot of tainted names as well. That’s cool that you s known your H for so long!

@artsiefartsie boys names are so hard. We had so many girls names we liked and maybe like 1 or 2 boys names.

@disgruntled_pelican MH and I are the same way. We’ve had lists for years 😂 But I’m not feeling the same connection to the names like I did my first pregnancy

@disgruntled_pelican I can't even begin to think about names!  And to make matters worse my SO is a high school teacher so pretty much every name in the world is going to be tainted for him!  Its going to be a rough go for us to get those lists started.

For DS my husband wanted a girl so bad all the names he came up with were girl names.  So we have plenty of those.  I think we had maybe 5 boy names but really only 2 I actually liked.  I’ve had a lot of names I can’t stand from patients. Lol

We really like 1 syllable first names because our last name is a mouthful so that makes things even more challenging 😥

Confession: I have started drinking non-alcoholic Moscow mules to help with the nausea. It may or may not be working.

That sounds good @ramzlau! I’ve been drinking Pink Stork morning sickness tea and I really like it. I also have some ginger gum that has been amazing, but once the flavors gone the nausea comes back! Ugh.

@disgruntled_pelican this is why I always announce my names when others are keeping it secret. Then if theres a name on our list that they are using, I feel like I can't get screwed for using "someone else's" name
