GTKY: What was your favorite Halloween costume growing up? (I think I saw this while lurking the IF board maybe?)

R/R: I am so happy it’s the weekend. This week was just insane for work as per usual. Not many plans but I’ve already done 2 loads of laundry, cooked dinner, got takeaway coffees and went for a long walk through the park. For those who asked before, I’m in Amsterdam so lockdown again because our cases are bout 7-8X higher than spring. My back has been hurting so much yesterday and today. Probably from being hunched over a laptop all week.

CS/Q: No Qs. I like to CS so I figure other people do as well. That dip - I was super cold that night and the house was freezing (even my H wore socks to bed and he’s Canadian and never cold).

GTKY: What was your favorite Halloween costume growing up? (I think I saw this while lurking the IF board maybe?)

Gosh I have a really bad memory and can hardly remember costumes. I don’t think my family was very creative either. I’ll think about it haha.

@AKuzReve my DH has a lot of coworkers in Europe and he keeps telling me how bad it is getting again according to the conversations he has had 😞

@AKuzReve do you also have a curfew like Paris? Or not that bad yet? The US hit 69,000 new cases yesterday; highest since July. So it’s not getting better anywhere.

Timing: doesn’t really matter

Typical LP length: 17 days while on progesterone

Testing: BFN this morning; I’ll test again on Monday just so that I can stop progesterone but at this point I’m fairly certain I didn’t get KUed this cycle.

R/R: I am very sad today; for some reason, both MH and had been hoping this cycle was ours. I even let myself contemplate creative ways I could tell him I got a BFP. And I also found the Pregnancy Monitor section in FF that had a potential due date had we gotten KUed. Today I wondered if I’ll ever see a BFP 😔. I might need to pick up some cheap pregnancy tests because it might be a long while before that happens. Anyway, I hate to to be a Debbie Downer but that’s my current mood.

I will likely not post to the dailies until new cycle starts which will likely be on Friday.

CS/Q: looks like my baseline progesterone dropped so it’s just the supplemental progesterone keeping my temps above coverline.

GTKY: What was your favorite Halloween costume growing up? Slightly different than the IF thread GTKY. I honestly don’t recall (m)any childhood costumes. I got really more creative when I hit adulthood. I dressed up as a Russian Mail Order Bride in 2008 and that was probably my most clever costume.

@AKuzReve I am impressed by your productivity this weekend. I need to take a page from your book and get off the couch. I did run this morning, but then I took a nap so I feel like that negates the productivity.

@And846 Have you posted a chart so far? Maybe we can help pick an O day.

@acleverusername I am so sorry about your test results. Nothing about this is fair. 11DPO is still somewhat early so don’t give up hope entirely, but you are still perfectly fine to vent to us ❤️

Typical LP length: 13

Testing: I’m still thinking I will WFAF. This might be weird to say but I truly don’t want to know if I ever have a CP.

R/R: I have to be productive with some things around the house today, and so far I have not been doing well with it. I’m feeling unmotivated after the work week. I was able to schedule some vacation days in the near future though, so I have something to look forward to!

CS/Q: Nothing new

GTKY: What was your favorite Halloween costume growing up? A giant skeleton that I wore in a backpack and moved with my arms and legs. Hard to describe how it worked, but for a small child it was awesome.

@acleverusername, no curfew but they shut all bars, restaurants, and cafes. And you’re only allowed a max of 3 people to your home. So really there’s nothing to do anymore.

Testing: waiting longer this time. Maybe until CD 24 or so, if I can hold out.

R/R: I’ve been cleaning like a mad woman today, although I know full well that after we have friends over tomorrow, it’ll just need cleaned again

CS/Q: No CS, but considering starting to track BBT.

GTKY: What was your favorite Halloween costume growing up? I was the typical early 90s ghost in a sheet. I wore it to the elementary school parade that we had in my small town.

@And846 I would definitely agree with CD12, even 13 if you were going by OPKs, but I am curious why another app would peg it as so much earlier given this information.

@emmylou78 I did the same thing this weekend, cleaned before people came over, now I am cleaning again. Don’t know why I bother haha

@fitzfizz i know, right? My P Tracker app i switched on to TTC mode and just loaded opk and HIO info and it game me CD 14 as O 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m just going to call this a wash this month.

@and846 are you trusting an app to tell you when you ovulated? I highly recommend reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility. It is a super quick and easy read. It will tell you exactly how to interpret your own chart and determine ovulation. Apps are notoriously wrong.

@emeraldcity1214 I’m still learning my cycle and recording my actions and symptoms. So, going off my feeling and what that pegs me at as well 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’ll look up there read today

@and846 Trusting an app can make you miss your window. Are you knowledgeable about tracking cervical mucus? Knowing exactly when your FW opens allows you the best timing. That book will lay all of that out for you.

@emeraldcity1214 i track CM and it was EW thru CD 15-16. Perhaps it came off as I’m entirely trusting an app, which I’m not. I’m learning my body and seeing if apps are telling the same thing that I’m observing. Does that make sense?

@and846 From what I am reading on here lots of people are relying heavily on their apps. I think that’s a big mistake. You can have fertile CM and even positive OPKs and still not ovulate. You need your temps to confirm ovulation and line up with your CM. Your temps don’t confirm ovulation. If CD16 had stayed elevated instead of dropping it would have confirmed. Have your temps gone back up? I need to check today’s daily thread.
