UTI

in 2nd Trimester
(Presently 17 weeks) After a routine urine sample, I was diagnosed with a UTI. I was given antibiotics to take for 7 days (which I took). I’ve been asymptotic this entire time, until 1 day after finishing my antibiotics (today). I now need to pee constantly and can’t seem to empty my bladder and feel some mild pressure in my lower abdomen. I’m doing a follow up urine test in a few days. Please tell I’m not alone and that everything turned out ok. I’ve had 2 second trimester losses this past year. If something were to happen this time, I think I may loose my mind and give up. )):

    Call your doctor today and tell them you are having symptoms still as of today.  I have read that UTI symptoms in pregnancy can be nin-existant.  I know i had 2. One symptomatic the other, not. 

    They may want you to get another urine test now, and not in a few days.

     Do not wait with this as it won't directly impact baby, but can cause kidney issues.
