What habits, goals, or resolutions are you focusing on this week? Actually running more than twice...
How's everything going? I have really been failing at actually running recently. I have done well with diet, but I have been lazy.
What has you motivated or struggling this week? I convinced some of my siblings to do a virtual running challenge with me, so I’m hoping that will be motivational. It is 3 different distances on 3 weeks. I think I’m going to travel to each of their cities for one of the weeks to have some accountability.
What's a "small win" you have from last week? I did great with sticking on points for weight watchers! I am within 10 lbs of my healthy weight range, so now I want to get to goal.
What habits, goals, or resolutions are you focusing on this week? Cut out soda; eat healthy, high calorie meals
How's everything going? Today is day 11 without soda! I’ve been drinking A LOT of carbonated water in replacement and it actually is quite wonderful.
What has you motivated or struggling this week? Self motivation in the soda. I’m just really proud of that. I’m cooking, so that’s helping with the healthy meals but I can’t seem to get enough calories. I was tracking my intake and even with eating out a meal, I was only at 1700 calories. That’s not enough to sustain me and a potential future life. So I need to figure out how to increase my calories in a healthy way.
What's a "small win" you have from last week? Hitting double digits without soda! I used to drink 16-24 oz of soda every day, so this is HUGE for me!

What habits, goals, or resolutions are you focusing on this week? I'm trying to keep a positive attitude, stay mentally and physically active. Physically active for me = walking around 3 miles per day and using my standing desk for work sometimes. I have cut out caffeinated coffee, alcohol, and processed food.
How's everything going? This TWW is going by so slowly and I'm feeling bored. I feel like I need more mental and social stimulation.
What has you motivated or struggling this week? The weather is colder, which makes it less fun to be outdoors, but I'm getting out and walking around anyway!
What's a "small win" you have from last week? I'm trying to get really good sleep (8-9 hours per night).
@chindimples04 I am legitimately jealous that your goal is to get more calories. If you are looking for healthy ideas to do that, the website for “Forks over knives” has a lot of good ideas for pant based meals. You can find a lot of recipes there with avocados and nuts and other healthy but not low calorie foods.
@fingerscrossed1 I love your goal of getting more sleep. I constantly miss the mark on that one.
@fingerscrossed1 I am a MESS without decent sleep! You have taken some awesome steps!
@fitzfizz it’s honestly a blessing and a curse. Being dairy free, cutting soda, and not being much of a drinker (for personal reasons) I’ve lost a huge source of calories that many get. I’ve always been slim, but I’m roughly 15 pounds underweight right now which can obviously have some health impact. I’ll definitely check out that website! I am trying to do better about nuts! I do have to avoid almond, though, which adds a bit of difficulty, as well. #hotmessalert 🤣

What habits, goals, or resolutions are you focusing on this week? Keeping up the exercise and working on getting my calorie intake down.
How's everything going? Ok, having some stomach issues for the past couple of days which is making me not want to work out. I did make a big holubtsi (stuffed cabbage) casserole, which is fairly healthy and will help with the calorie intake
What has you motivated or struggling this week? Stomach issues (blech), aside from being uncomfortable it also is just wearing me out. I guess on the positive side I'm not eating as much and don't really want anything.
What's a "small win" you have from last week? Exercise patterns were great, worked out 6 of 7 days. On Friday I drove out to a park for a hike, which was a really nice change of pace.
@chindimples04 I'd love to be underweight, though I'm sure it's "grass is greener." You're right, getting rid of alcohol and dairy does really drop your calorie intake. I went alcohol- and meat-free a couple of years ago (just temporarily to see if I could do it) and mostly ate beans. Wound up gaining weight, though, and since that's not my problem at all I doubt I'll try it again
@akoros way to kill it with your exercise goal! Hopefully your stomach issues subside! On another note, yes, the amount of energy many have to put into losing weight is the same amount of energy I need to put in to gaining weight. I’ve been trying for 16 months and the most I’ve been able to gain is 5 pounds. It’s definitely a misunderstood battle.

@chindimples04 At one point last year, doc suggested I try to gain a bit of weight to see if that would help my period come back. I started adding pistachios, full fat yogurt with ground flax seeds (I realize you're not doing dairy), and roasted sweet potatoes. You could also try dense rye breads (like Swedish ones), no sugar added nut butters, hummus, and guac/avocado.
I did gain weight, but still no period, hence this is my third round of clomid + ovidrel.
@fingerscrossed1 yes, I added super whole grain breads, I cook EVERYTHING in olive or coconut oil, try to eat a bit based homemade trail mix every other day, and guac is a staple in this house! I do think it’s helping, just slowly!
*TW LC*
I also think cutting back on some of my breastfeeding sessions has helped, since my body isn’t burning so many calories trying to keep up with my milk monster. 😂
