Got my house ready for photos this morning. It was brutal. H works second shift and I had my worst nausea day in a week so overall wouldn't recommend. But the house looked great and we list on Thursday! I have all the feels about it. I'm sad this baby won't ever know this home. But they'll likely have all their childhood memories in one home which is so sweet. Darn pregnancy hormones.
Well, got my sneak peek test back - it's a boy!!! (Assuming I didn't contaminate it with make dna!) So that makes boy #3 for us and I couldn't be more thrilled!
@SkilledSailor we moved about 6 weeks ago and I was really sad that we were moving from DS's first home. But when I realized, like you, that he and this baby will have all their memories in our new home, I became a lot more excited. Plus we have way more space now so having baby #2 here will be a lot easier! Good luck with the sale and move!

As for me...it was just work all day. Blah. DS has a runny nose so I'm really hoping it doesn't turn in to more than that and that he doesn't pass it on. It's also DH and my 8 year anniversary tomorrow! Nothing exciting planned but we did do a lobster dinner Saturday so that was fun!
@SkilledSailor I think the process of getting everything together and moving is the most emotional part. Once you're in your new home with your family, it's all a fleeting memory!
@spartan4life I did the fast track at home test. I did it at my moms house where there are no men and I tried so hard to do it perfectly!
@texas_t Yay congratulations! I know a mom with 5 boys and she loves it because they all love the same sports and play together (usually) so well.

I’m struggling with pregnancy brain and low energy, plus nausea. My 8th grader is having trouble with an algebra word problem, actually it’s several word problems based on 2 boats, distance, speed, and time. I never excelled at math, it’s my weakest subject. My husband is great at math... but he is out of town til Thursday. I feel so bad and useless that I can barely help her with these problems.
I don't know why I didn't think of this before, but I wore and a dress today and Lord if it doesn't feel a million times more comfortable than blue jeans!

Last night we went to my IL's for dinner, and DS#1 (4yo) told my MIL that he needs a baby sister (neither know I'm pregnant). It was so cute. I really hope that he gets what he wants, but that he's not disappointed if it's another brother.
I'm officially on vacation this week, but I told my boss I would try to log on a few hours a day to catch up on a project that is behind, and I just can't seem to find the motivation.

My sister has 3 sons, and when they found out the last one was a boy, the eldest got so mad at his mom for not giving him a sister. He started crying and yelling at her😂
@texas_t I ordered a honey chicken rice bowl and crab wontons! I probably won't be able to eat very much of it but it sounds good at the moment so I'm going for it.
As we drove back from the OB yesterday, we saw they had opened a Pizza Hut near our old place and just had to buy a pizza with the stuffed crust. It was the best thing I've eaten in the last month. We both had not had any Pizza Hut in years as they are a bit rare in our city!
My food aversions seem to change by the minute but PF Changs sounds really good right now! DH has cheeseburgers on the grill and salad planned for tonight. I guess that will be okay too...haha

I had a crazy week at work so I wasn't around at all aside from checking in and dropping some love occassionally! I have a 5 day weekend next week and then vacation the last week of October that I am so looking forward to! I need to sleep in lol.
Just got the appointment confirmation text from my ob and it had in the direction for the appointment to wear a mask and no visitors, except the patient are allowed in... so I'll have to ask if we can facetime instead.
