R/R: Tomorrow is my H’s birthday so that’s exciting! We will also celebrate Canadian thanksgiving on Sunday so I need to grocery plan and shop. I’m already tired of working this week and still 2 days to go. 😭

CS/Q: Got crosshairs today. Personally I don’t think I O’ed until Tuesday (Monday overnight/AM) so I think I’m really 2 DPO but I’ll go with this.

R/R: struggling with my OB and I'm going to reach out to an RE today. I need to get a bunch of cleaning done today the house is a total mess and I haven't had my normal time to clean and it is killing me. I really need to find motivation to work but for some reason it's just not there.

CS/Q: temps are all over the place. Trying not to read into that dip too much.

@krash_ I am home today, and my house is also a complete disaster. Solidarity on the cleaning front.

R/R: I have a bunch of cleaning to do today, plus some projects for my Etsy shop. Later I am going to go up to the cemetery my grandparents are buried and clean up the graves. My mom typically does this every season, but she's been so busy and hasn't had a chance to do it. Figured it would be a nice surprise for her.

@AKuzReve enjoy your H’s birthday celebrations and Happy Thanksgiving. MH and I wanted to smoke a turkey this weekend in solidarity but it’s impossible to get a turkey in the US this early on (plus we only inquired at the butcher last weekend so it was too late to place a special order.)

@akoros hey there DPO buddy! Happy Anniversary! What have you got planned to celebrate? Good luck getting through the workday and enjoy your 4-day weekend.

@krash_ I posted my thoughts on your situation in the IF thread. Good luck reaching out to an RE; I think it’s your best bet.

@daisy528 it’s so nice that you visit / clean your grandparents’ graves. This is something I used to do as well as a child. I find that practice restorative.

Typical LP length: since I’m on progesterone supps, it’s 17 days.

Testing: not until 12DPO unless my chart is looking different from other cycles’ chart (I deliberately don’t have any cheapies around to avoid the temptation.)

R/R: glad to finally be on this side of the fence. No CHs yet but other physiological sights point to O on Tuesday.

Thanks, @krash_ @daisy528 and @acleverusername! Going out for dinner later at a nice new restaurant, one of very few "dining out" outings we've done lately (we've mostly opted for takeout). We'll be sitting outside, so hopefully not too much of a risk and most restaurants around here are pretty good with spacing and staying safe. Might try to talk him into leaving a bit early so we can meander along the river on our walk over.

@daisy528 That's so nice to be able to visit their graves. Mine are all far away (and my husband's are even further), so we never really go to see them.

[I just started arbitrarily counting "day 1" like 2 weeks AL, so it's more like 25/2]

Typical LP length: 11-13ish

Testing: not until I'm pretty late, given weird cycle

R/R: I think I'm in the right place now, though this cycle was/is wacky. Don't have high hopes because the timing was not great, but that's ok. Just trying to get back into the swing of things. I have day 3 testing next cycle, and I lave data, so actually kind of looking forward to that.

@krash_ I make custom birthday invitations, posters, etc. It's a fun little thing that I have been doing on the side now for 2.5 years. Great way to channel my creativity!

R/R: Just struggling to stay in my house and annoyed that I can't have a COVID test until Friday given I am already feeling a lot better. I also need to shop for Thanksgiving (got our turkey already but no veg or sides yet) - so will probably have to send DH to the store because there's no way I'm going on Saturday (and that's with the assumption I'll have my results back by then) and who knows what he'll come back with...even with a very detailed list!! Might be a weiiiiiiird turkey dinner for us LOL.

CS/Q: Have stopped temping due to illness and multiple night wake ups for nose blowing etc. Just waiting and seeing.

@acleverusername I used that same strategy, invested in ONE FRER and it has been a great motivator for resisting the urge to test earlier.

@bumblebee0210 Yay for your chart! I'd agree that you O'ed on Day 9. Question: in the past when you used OPKs, would they turn decisively positive? I.e. test line much darker than control line? The reason I ask is that every woman's LH surge is different. If your LH concentration is lower, then it might never reach the threshold of the OPKs you use. Lots of great info on that here and here.

@canucklehead123 LOL @ "who knows what he'll come back with...even with a very detailed list!!" I hope whatever YH picks up, it makes for a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. Glad to hear that you're feeling better.

I decided to stop keto. I'm not feeling great, kind of flu-ish.

@mcmurray33 hi! I don’t think we’ve interacted yet, but I wanted to mention that the rule of thumb is that we don’t talk about 2nd lines here, even if you think it might be an evap. Take a few days and keep testing and if it’s positive, head over to your BMB. If it’s negative then we will see you back here!
