WAYDTGKU: OPKs, Tracking CM

R/R: Excited to take a wondfo tonignt to see if I can still catch my surge or if it’s done...I think we are covered timing wise but it’s going to be weird not knowing the exact day to expect AF. And I’ll probably waste a lot more tests this cycle too! I have 6 (yikes) audits left to finish of the ones I do, and 2 left that I have to review. It was 3 but my boss offered to do one this weekend so that is a relief (except I had a feeling he would do that so I had already had in my head that I wouldn’t have to do). I’m going to a client today to try to wrap one up so I may not be around much today but I’ll check in later!

@bows22 I hope the audits go smoothly today! And to avoid bumping the TWW thread from yesterday that we were both lurking in, I think the word “crump” is just medical slang. I did not even realize I was using an unfamiliar term haha. The fact that one of the dictionary definitions means “explode” is probably the origin. It basically means when everything goes wrong on a critical patient all at once. Pregnant women in critical care scare the crap out of me. You definitely do not want to flu while pregnant.

R/R: Afternoon off today!! Weather is supposed to be nice so I can hopefully run later. Hurricane is currently predicted to miss us, so work is on for tomorrow. I will just have to enjoy today.

@fitzfizz enjoy your afternoon off!! I’m glad the hurricane will miss you, but sad for you that you won’t get a hurricane closure at work.

R/R: Had another monitoring appointment today. I posted about it in the IF thread, but basically my follies are still too small to trigger. Waiting on my bw to come back to see if I need to do another round of Clomid or if I’m just a slow responder to what I already took. On the bright side, it’s Thursday which is a pretty light day at work for me!

R/R: so I'm hoping to check back in later, but I will be pretty absent until Sunday or Monday. This weekend I might be doing both WTO/TWW. My mil is coming to visit! Also hoping to O tomorrow or Saturday. AI is tomorrow!

R/R: MIL kept her mouth shut yesterday, which was great. My internet is not keeping up with working from home. I’ve been having to use my cell phone data to get in and stay on Zoom meetings. We also got word that we are virtual again next week. We have to be under 25 cases per 100,000, and we are currently at 45 cases per 100,000, with 53% of cases not the county in my city. I’m just full of great news today. 🤣

CS/Q: unexciting low period temps, but I’ll post because I took a screenshot before I remembered how boring it was. 🤷🏻‍♀️

R/R: the never ending carousel ride has me back here after af showed up right before bed last night.

CS/Q: Does abyone recommend a male supplement for ttc? I need one that combats the multitude of meds the VA has hubs on.

@fitzfizz the hurricane shifter closer to me and we are on the dirty side. I really just need it to stop hurricane-ing

@Kenneylynn3 thanks! My OB wants to do testing but I am under my husbands work insurance and they don't cover any testing or treatment for infertility so I am just SOL until I miraculously get KU.
@krash_ thanks girl. I was oddly at peace with the start of AF. I guess I will just take advantage of having more time to pay off debts.

@legendairymomma my husband just takes Men’s One a Day. From what I read, Zinc and Folate are most important for men to take. I know Eu Natural has a male conception vitamin that some swear by, but we haven’t tried it.
@Kenneylynn3 that temp dip makes me hopeful for your O soon! I sometimes get a big dip like that just before O day! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 for you!

@Kenneylynn3 good luck tomorrow! My next appt was supposed to be Saturday, but they are going to have me do a second round of Clomid first. Not exactly looking forward to it but I’m trying to stay hopeful that this time next week we will have an IUI date scheduled!

@chindimples04 sorry for the work stress. That would so annoy me having to use cell data just to be able to get into zoom calls. Sorry that you’re home another week, but at least you’re lessening you’re risk of being exposed!

@legendairymomma DH takes a multivitamin and fish oil, but that’s it. Not sure what specific vitamins are best!

OMG LADIES! It was my afternoon off, so I left work at 3:45...🙄

@runningoncookies I’m glad their plan is to bump up the clomid dose and keep going rather than waiting for another cycle, but I’m sorry you have to deal with all of the symptoms again!

@Kenneylynn3 Agreed, with that temp dip it looks like ovulation is imminent. With the donor, are you only able to do the AI once per cycle?

@chindimples04 On the plus side it looks like they are nice and consistent low period temps!

@legendairymomma Ah, sorry about the hurricane. I really was hoping for it to come my way so I could have a day off. I tried! Are you in LA or TX? As regards supplements, I don’t know much about supplements themselves, but is there a chance he is on meds that could be changed to do less harm?

@fitzfizz I am TX. Getting his meds changed is...difficult. He has PTSD that manifests as anxiety and depression and has been on so many different medications I can't count. He also has bulging discs and is in daily pain from that and being overweight. The VA doctor is the literal least help and he had an episode on 9/11 because he told her that all the physical pain and getting no help is making him want to end it all...she told him that he has an upcoming therapy appointment and to mention that to the psychiatrist.

@fitzfizz I'm only trying to meet once because it's hard to find time in my and his schedule, plus it's a drive (1.5 hours one way).

@fitzfizz I’ll spare you my ranting about people who are against the flu shot! I’m glad you had the afternoon off but I’m jealous!

@runningoncookies I saw in the IF thread that you have to do another round of clomid - I don’t know if this is a thing but I’m going to hope that your body is more used to it and that you will have less side effects this time!

@Kenneylynn3 enjoy your time with your MIL! I was thinking oh no I hope you ovulate before she comes but I guess that isn’t as significant here!

@chindimples04 my MIL is a 100% virtual teacher and they upgraded to some crazy internet speed because she was having that issue. I hope your cases go down soon!
