Trying to Get Pregnant

TWW Thursday 10/1

  • Month/Cycle: 4/4

    CD/DPO: 29/9

    Timing: -4, -2, O

    Typical LP length: 9-11 days

    Testing: BFN this morning

R/R: Had a good cry fest last night. I can just tell I’m out this month again. This is very hard on my heart and not having anyone to talk to about it is making it that much more difficult. It doesn’t seem to phase my husband at all that we aren’t falling pregnant (and I know how absolutely ridiculous I sound being upset after only 4 cycles).

CS/Q: temp dropping. WFAF at this point.

Timing: Doesnt matter cause of surgery

    Typical LP length: 10-11 days

    Testing: No. WFAF

R/R: I cant believe its October today already. Man time flies by. Well, Im supposed to get AF tomorrow but I'm going to be confused because I have been bleeding everyday since my surgery and still am. How am I supposed to tell the difference between my period and the bleeding im having now already?? How will I know its AF or not? It all kinda looks the same lol I guess maybe I'll just mark it down in FF as CD1 tomorrow and move to WTO anyways 🤷‍♀️

CS/Q: Temps all over the place.

@chindimples04 I'm so sorry for yiur BFN and that you had a good cry last night and are out :( I'm sending you lots of hugs today ❤ TTC is very hard on the heart I agree. I agree. It never does seem to phase the husbands hey? Mine was always the same. I always cared too much each cycle and he was just like meh.. whatever. Its def harder on us women for sure. Hang in there girl.

  • @chindimples04 sorry about the BFN. It doesn't matter how long you've been trying, some months just hit harder than others.  <3
@mindyb2019 It might be gross or TMI but I would wear a pad and watch for tissue that would indicate your period. There might just also be a change in the flow or color of the bleed with AF.

    Month/Cycle: 11/11

    CD/DPO: 15/2

    Timing: -5, -3, -1, 0, +1

    Typical LP length: 13 days

Testing: Not unless AF is late

R/R: I didn't get nearly as much done yesterday as I would have liked and today is packed with meetings. I'm on a call right now  :D and hopefully I can get some other stuff done during calls today, throwing in the laundry or cleaning the kitchen while I listen. I have tomorrow off so I'll be able to get some stuff done tomorrow but I have an appointment to get my nails done and I have to run errands.

@chindimples04 it’s not silly to feel disappointed, ttc is so hard on your heart, and emotions. ✊🏻 Solidarity, friend.

@mindyb2019 I can’t believe it’s October either! It feels like September went so quickly! I’m not sure how you would tell, cramping and pms maybe? But after your procedure, I would imagine it would all the the same confusing mess. Just go with what you think is best, and hopefully it’ll be over with quickly!

@krash_ I love to run around and do chores on the phone! I can’t sit still! Hope you’re able to get more done today! Enjoy your nail appt! That sounds so relaxing right now!

    Month/Cycle: 16/14/8 al

    CD/DPO: 17/4

Timing: good ish, we didn’t get the best timing this cycle because we were in a friends wedding this last weekend. EOD should be fine though.

    Typical LP length: 13 days

    Testing: WFAF

R/R: these past several days have been so busy! We were in a friends wedding last weekend, and that was very involved. Between that and our move, and just life things have been busy! TW: LC, birth, loss

My friend had her baby yesterday. The one who I was so upset about a while back. She got KU about a cycle after our loss so it was really difficult, seeing how she had her baby nearly a month to the day that we should have had ours. But, I’m actually not super torn up about it right now. I’m excited for my friend and seem to have found new excitement for our continued ttc journey. Since we’re not seeing my OB again until January, right now it just feels like it’s in Gods hands. And I’m content with that for the time being.

Although, I really hope the remainder of our journey is short short!!

    CS/Q:

ETA: I bought this necklace a while back as a reminder to myself, it’s a quote from a book that I really love. I hope it can be a reminder to any of you struggling too.

  • @mindyb2019 I’d look for small clots, too, to determine AF. That is super tricky, though!
@krash_ I feel you on the productivity. I have so much to do and also have three Zoom meetings on top of it. It’s also been cold and rainy, which isn’t helping.
@photographerwife I’m so glad you have found a place of peace, even if temporary. ❤️

And thank you all for the support. I didn’t realize how difficult this journey would be on my emotions.

  • @chindimples04 EFf!! I was thinking about you on my way to work and hoping we would get another graduate. Its completely valid to be upset at any point of ttc. 11 months later and hubs is still indifferent to not being KU.
  • @krash_ @chindimples04 @photographerwife thank you ladies for all your tips and ideas. I appreciate it. I guess I’ll just try my best tomorrow to keep an eye on flow and colour and any changes to make sure it’s AF. Will be tricky but all I can do at this point. 🤷‍♀️

@photographerwife aww I really like that quote on the necklace. Very nice. How was your friends wedding?
  • @chindimples04 sending you some hugs. Definitely not silly to be bummed out at times. TTC is hard! Keep your chin up!
@mindyb2019 Good question! I think what everyone else says makes sense. Otherwise, just mark it as CD1 and go from there.
@krash_ I feel you. I have so much to do today, but my productivity is no where to be seen lol
@photographerwife your timing doesn't look too bad! I like that necklace quote. Definitely an awesome reminder.

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 18/3?

    Timing: -5, -3, -1, O, +1, +2

    Typical LP length: 14

    Testing: if AF is late

R/R: Busy day today, and I have zero desire to be productive. My chart is still a disaster and my temps are all over the place, but nothing I can do about it at this point. Looking forward to the weekend though, and some beautiful fall weather!

    CS/Q: still super ugly.

    Typical LP length: 🤷🏽‍♀️

    Testing: Don’t think there’s a point.

R/R: I am calling it and saying I either O’ed already or whatever. I think this cycle was a bust. Ah well. Annoying but I guess there’s next month.Today is my birthday! It was a lovely, low-key day.

CS/Q: woke up early today and took my temp way earlier than normal so this morning had a weird temp

  • @chindimples04 I’m so sorry. I don’t think it’s ridiculous at all. Every month is hard.
@mindyb2019, I agree with the others and wear a liner and check for the difference in colour.
@krash_ hope you got your stuff done that you needed!
@d@daisy528, sorry about your chart and temps.
@photographerwife I am glad it was less hard on you than you thought it would be.

    CD/DPO: 21/5

    Timing: pretty good I think

    Typical LP length: unsure

Testing: holding out until the 13th

R/R: Idk feeling good today, don't have much to say!

CS/Q: forgot to temp this morning but probably for the best as I had a few glasses of wine last night and temp would have been off anyway.

@chindimples04 I'm sorry, the ttc journey definitely hits hard and can catch you right off guard, sending thoughts to you today.

    @akuzreve happy birthday!

@daisy528 @chindimples04 @krash_ yep, add me to the lack of productivity club.  I think it is a symptom of the luteal phase, it seems to hit me the same time every cycle - just after being on my A-game right up until O and then BOOM I am just a tad useless.  I was listening to an interesting podcast at the speaker was making the case for women to broadcast where they are at in their menstrual cycles in the workplace so that people could better work together and understand where each other was mentally etc... I mean it's a bit extreme (like I definitely don't want my boss knowing that I'm about to ovulate HELLO) but it does make sense that your cycle would affect your performance at work for sure.
