Rants/Raves: How is it less than a month to DS#2's birthday?! Time is going so quick.
GTKY: What car do you drive? What car does YH/SO drive? Has that/will that change because of your growing family? I drive a Nissan Cube, and DH drives a Toyota Highlander. It's a little annoying that I can't fit all the boys into my car, and I know once the baby comes it's going to be even more annoying. Plus when we go on long trips (remember when we used to be able to do that) we really stuff DH's car, so I'm not sure all the luggage will fit if we have to have the third row up. I know that we need a mini-van, I've always expected to get a minivan at some point in my life, but for financial reasons I'm really hoping we can hold out for at least one more year.

GTKY: What car do you drive? Ford Explorer What car does YH/SO drive? F350 Truck Has that/will that change because of your growing family? We both recently got our vehicles. My old car blew the engine when my daughter was 9 mos so we borrowed a vehicle from my in-laws for a year. Before the engine blew I had been already looking at Explorers though. I knew I wanted a vehicle with a third row. My H had a single cab truck and we just moved to a dual cab so we can all fit comfortably.
By the time the nausea subsides my pelvis separates. Good times.

Rants/Raves: Been feeling much better today and yesterday. Still no where near normal, can't move much, queasy all day etc. But I have been able to eat more which is great because it's kind of necessary. Plus I can move enough that I can do 15 minute chunks of getting the house ready. It's not super efficient but better than nothing.
GTKY: I currently drive a Nissan Versa hatchback which has been great and H has a Nissan Altima. We plan to get an SUV next summer. If I make loads of money in the spring market (real estate agent) then in dream world I get my Tesla SUV I've been dreaming of for years. More realistically we'll get the Kia Telluride.

Rants/Raves: Had a great US yesterday and another one coming up on Oct 12. I also ordered the sneak peek test so I can find out if this little nug is a boy or a girl. I have zero patience, lol!
GTKY: What car do you drive? What car does YH/SO drive? Has that/will that change because of your growing family? I drive a Kia Sorento and my husband drives a Kia Stinger. The future holds either a Telluride, another Sorento, or the Sedona. I hate dealing with cars/car shopping/car payments, so I'd really just like my current vehicle to last forever. As long as it drives and has an A/C, I'm golden!

Rants/Raves: I'm so ranty. 1.) I wish I felt sicker because it comforts me to "feel" pregnant. Today I've felt better than usual. 2.) It was easier being pregnant with my first because I had so much more flexibility and less responsibility. I could just go to bed early, or grab a nap at some point. Now I have my kid as well as my mom taking care of her in the house two days a week, so I have to pretend not to be pregnant all that time.
GTKY: What car do you drive? What car does YH/SO drive? Has that/will that change because of your growing family? I drive a Chevy Equinox and my husband drives a Dodge Ram pickup. We won't change anything, although I'm not sure how we could fit a second carseat in his because the back seat is so small. Maybe if we move the passenger seat way up. We usually make family trips in my car, but it would be preferable for his truck to at least be an option in a pinch.

Rants/Raves: I'm feeling a bit better. I returned to the office this week and it feels better to be back than I expected. It's so much easier to be in person for sessions vs telehealth.
GTKY: What car do you drive? What car does YH/SO drive? Has that/will that change because of your growing family? I drive a mazda 6 and DH drives a RAM 1500. not likely to change. We talked about my car being the next one to upgrade, but I like it just fine and will ride till the wheels fall off. If I replace it, it will probably be a minivan or SUV.

GTKY: What car do you drive? What car does YH/SO drive? Has that/will that change because of your growing family? I drive an Altima and my husband drives a Silverado. We've talked about upgrading to something larger so we can travel with two car seats plus a 100lb dog and a 14lb dog, but we'll likely just take two cars if the need ever arises. We don't travel often anyway, especially not during the newborn phase. So we've got time.

How many kids do you already have? Ages? One DS, he will be 2 on the 21st!
Rants/Raves: I was feeling pretty good but the last few days I've been nauseous on and off. But DS finally starts back to swim lessons this weekend so I'm excited for him! He loved swim lessons but we stopped due to COVID. They opened in July but we didn't feel good about sending him yet. I'm really hoping it's safe and everything is good when we go Saturday.

Woke up to a maggot infestation inside my house. A couple days ago I came home and there were 20 flies in the house and we couldn’t figure out how they got in! Anyways they paid us in eggs. I’m so deflated from cleaning it all up. I’ve been crying on and off all day- just throwing myself a pity party 😅

GTKY: What car do you drive? What car does YH/SO drive? Has that/will that change because of your growing family? I drive a Honda CR-V and I love it! My husband has a Chevy Colorado. There is a chance that we can make 3 seats work in my CR-V because my oldest is getting close enough in size to using just a backless booster. I really don’t want to feel crowded though and have a fight getting in and everyone buckled every time we go somewhere. Even though I will miss my CR-V, I think I’ll love upgrading to an Odyssey.

Rants/Raves: I’ve had a headache for 3 days. The first day was bearable but I’m just now getting some relief after awful days yesterday and today.
GTKY: What car do you drive? What car does YH/SO drive? Has that/will that change because of your growing family? I drive a Jeep Renegade and DH drives a KIA Soul. We had planned on upgrading his car in a couple of years to get a truck but now that we’re having twins we’ll have to upgrade sooner (neither of our cars will fit 2 infant seats plus our toddler’s seat) and he’s getting a minivan (his choice). We’re still hoping to hold off until next Christmas to pay off his Kia and save up a nice down payment but not sure how long we’ll be able to manage the inconvenience of both having to do daycare drop off/pick up.

Rants/Raves: rave: my husband never complains about how I spend money during pregnancy and I love it. I’m the primary income earner but he’s super frugal so it’s an awesome compromise 😂
GTKY: What car do you drive? What car does YH/SO drive? Has that/will that change because of your growing family? I have a corolla and my husband has a Ram 1500 with a full cab. We probably won’t upgrade now but I am anticipating a promotion soon and will probably upgrade at that point. I would like a 4-runner so we can use it to take the boat out or get a small camper for family trips and not have to take the truck all of the time.

I drive a suburban and my husband drive a mercedes E350, this was one of the first conversations we had when we found out i was pregnant, what we would with all the car seats, we are going to keep the same cars (i love the suburban and there is enough room for the 4 car seats, and i also love driving my husbands car) and with my husbands car we will only keep the older girls seats in there so if we need to split up for any reason he would take the older two and i would take the younger.

Rants/Raves: I’m going to rant about this nausea until it finally goes away. Rave: had my first appointment today and everything looks great! My dates vs the ultrasound measurements match so we’re keeping my EDD of 5/8.
GTKY: What car do you drive? What car does YH/SO drive? Has that/will that change because of your growing family? I drive a GMC Acadia which is will work great for 3 kids, especially since the oldest will be able to crawl in the 3rd row and buckle himself in. I also like that the 3rd row is split so I can continue to keep more of a cargo area with 1/2 the seat folded down. DH has a crew cab Dodge Ram 2500 diesel. It’s a big farm truck that will fit 3 car seats across the back no problem. We don’t plan on upgrading because both of our vehicles are pretty new to begin with.

I have a 17’ highlander hybrid, seats 7. DH has a 16’ Tundra that he desperately loves, and has done a lot of modifications on, seats 5. My car is good, but we can’t all fit in the truck once baby is born. He is actually considering trying to replace the steering column and add a 3rd seat in the front row so that we can all fit in there! It’s quite a project, but he really wants to keep his truck, plus it’s paid off, and we don’t want to get another car payment.

Waiting to trade the Subaru in for Toyota Sienna minivan as soon as 2021 hybrid model becomes available. I’m so excited!! Both me and DH always wanted a minivan, but decided that we need to have at least 2 kids to justify buying one 😁

Rants/Raves: I keep almost passing out. I'm assuming from my blood sugar as it was an issue with my daughter. I am trying to eat more often but nothing sounds good🙄

We bought the Optima last year when we thought we were done having kids😬 so we'll need to upgrade one of the cars. We really love the Kia Telluride but I am against buying new cars and they are hard to find used! So we will see.
