1st Trimester

Is it possible to feel my baby at 4-5 weeks?

This is my second pregnancy and just found out I was pregnant. I found out at 4 weeks both times. This time however I am experiencing different symptoms and one is a lot of fluttering.  Is this my baby? Last time I didn't feel my son till much later.

No, it's gas. 🤷 And as PP mentioned, ^^^ it will be some time before you get to play The, "is it baby? Or is it gas?" Game.

    But Congratulations!
  • Unfortunately no. 20 weeks is typical, but second time moms are know to feel earlier! It wouldn’t be this early though.

Man, I tried to edit my post to put my original comment in a spoiler. I have somehow failed miserably. Anyways, I have had several pregnancies. I have felt movement at different times with all of them but always closer to 12 weeks.

Definitely not this early. With my first I didn’t feel movement until I was in my third trimester. Second was around 13, third around 13, 4th a little earlier but was certain until 12, 5th I felt definite movement at 13, 6th was a little sooner. Still mostly all closer to 12 weeks. I don’t ever like to assume it’s movement until I know for sure. No one really wants to celebrate gas. 😆
