Trying to Get Pregnant

TWW Monday 9/21

  • @bows22 FX for you tomorrow!!

@keikilove it’s so hard not to obsess during the TWW...glad the meditations were helpful for you!!

    Month/Cycle: 9/9

    CD/DPO: 33/13

    Timing: doesn’t matter

Typical LP length: stopping progesterone today so AF should be here tomorrow or the next day

    Testing: BFN again this morning

R/R: I’m thinking I probably shouldn’t have started my Monday with a stark white BFN...really not a good start to the week. Wallowing a bit today and wrapping my head around IUI next cycle!

    CS/Q:

  • @runningoncookies Oh no, I’m sorry about the bfn on Monday morning. What a combo.😔 You May want to jump into the IF thread to get some support with the IUI process. I hope your day gets better!💓
  • @bows22 I have a shopping app on my phone that sends notifications when there's new stuff or free shipping site-wide. It's dangerous lol. It's not like I need anything new these days. Hopefully the yucky smell of hand sanitizer means something, but I've had experiences with horrid sanitizer too. DH got a mini one in his take home bag from the dentist and that stuff was BAD x100. I think I threw it out

@keikilove FX for your beta later this week! Sending positive vibes ❤️

    Month/Cycle: 39/28 or something

    CD/DPO: 27/11

    Timing: -3, +2

    Typical LP length: 13 days

    Testing: I might test tomorrow

R/R: boo Mondays. Weekend wasn't long enough. I probably say that every Monday ha. The battery in my thermometer I finally decided was dead enough this morning. I had had issues with it some time ago but it would sometimes require pressing the button just right to turn on. Wasn't much of a hassle to deal with. I've had a spare battery on my nightstand for over a year now and even though this is going to be my last cycle using it, I figured it should just replace it so it can be used for regular temp checks when we're sick in the future.

CS/Q: things are back to normal in my chart

  • @inthewoods23 Any special reason this is your last cycle using the thermometer? (Imagine me rubbing my hands together with glee & anticipation.😄) So glad to see your chart is back to normal! Everything crossed if you decide to test tomorrow! And thank you for the positive vibes for the betas later this week. I’m doing my best not to SS with all this progesterone & estradiol in my system...
  • @keikilove I don't know YET lol. If AF arrives then it's moving on to a FET where there's no point in temping (although I'm super curious what they would look like with the meds!). I find it so funny that so many of you talk about the symptoms with the estradiol and progesterone because I never feel that different in the TWW. I guess I'm a hot mess all the time  :D

  • @bows22 It's so hard not to SS and think everything could be a sign!

@runningoncookies I started my Monday off with a BFN also...not sure why we do this to ourselves lol

@keikilove I'm so glad you had a relaxing weekend. That can really be a game-changer for getting you ready for the week!

@inthewoods23 FX if you test tomorrow! My mood is also boo Monday.

    Month/Cycle: 5/5

    CD/DPO: 26/11

    Timing: -3, -2 O

    Typical LP length: 14

Testing: I was going to wait until tomorrow but gave in and tested today NOT with FMU and only like a one hour old. Obviously, BFN but it really tells me nothing for sure and now I just feel bummed.

R/R: I only have to rant about myself right now! I've done such a good job not testing early this time, I can't believe I gave in and not even with FMU. Grrr.

    CS/Q: n/a

  • @runningoncookies oops, missed you! I take forever writing my post up when I'm also trying to get ready in the morning. Sorry for the BFN. Hope you can find something today to pick you up from wallowing. Treat yourself!

@babyfeverbeliever why do we test at such inopportune times? haha. Sorry for the BFN. Hopefully you get better results tomorrow!

@runningoncookies Sorry about the BFN. Even when I know (or think) to not expect anything, it always still sucks

    Month/Cycle: 27/1 AL

    CD/DPO: 29/14

    Timing: -6, -3

    Typical LP length: 14-15 days

Testing: In a few days if I don't get my period. My cycle is still a bit off, so anticipating that it'll be a bit later than normal (last time my cycle went back to normal in the second one AL). Starting to feel some PMS symptoms (minor cramping, mostly), so guessing AF will come by soon.

R/R: Just a minor rant that it's Monday. I threw a bit of a fit on Friday because my boss's boss wanted me and a couple of others to come into the building this week for a meeting. That part's totally fine, what got me mad is that 1) there was no clear reason why the meeting needed to be in person (rather than a call) or what it entailed (so, why us), and 2) when all of those involved said that they're very uncomfortable coming in her reaction was to ask our boss to force us. I guess my fit sort of worked, he got more clarification on the meeting and now we're no longer needed. Also a rave: leftover crab soup and soft rolls for lunch. Rolls didn't come out quite like I hoped, but not bad for a first try

    CS/Q: none

  • @bows22 testing so you can drink is totally my style too. MH and I overindulged this weekend b/c of all the BFNs.

@keikilove your weekend sounds lovely; I'm glad you really leaned into relaxation. Hopefully the week flies by and your beta will be here before you know.

@runningoncookies Sorry to hear about another BFN. 🙁

@inthewoods your chart looks great; FX that you won't need your thermometer for other reasons.

@babyfeverbeliever sorry about the BFN but like you said, given the inputs, it doesn't really tell you much. FX for a different results tomorrow.

@lauren_0620 good for you for anticipating your stress levels and proactively addressing it. Though I hope your work week won't be as bad as you anticipate.

    Month/Cycle: 8/8

    CD/DPO: 26/14

    Timing: -1, +1(insemination)

Typical LP length: on progesterone; yesterday was my last dose given BFN this morning. Last time AF arrived 6 days after stopping progesterone (Day 12).

    Testing: BFNs at 10, 12 and 14DPO

R/R: MH and I really overindulged on wine this weekend because of BFNs; luckily for me I was drinking lots of water, so I'm not feeling as bad as him this morning. But it's still a pretty slow start to my day. I am looking forward to the chat with our RE tomorrow so that we can figure out our next steps, but I've mentally prepared myself for doing a few months of NTNP while we figure out MH's side of the equation. And actually, I'm looking forward to the break... TTC is exhausting!

CS/Q: haven't bothered to input temps for the last 2 days.

  • @keikilove will you test before beta? Glad you had a break from work this weekend too!

@r@runningoncookies I’m so sorry for the BFN! You go ahead and wallow as much as you want today ❤️❤️

@in@inthewoods23 ohhh good luck testing tomorrow! I saw that dip over the weekend, glad it came back up. That’s a major dip!

@baby@babyfeverbeliever If I wait until 11 dpo to test I almost always take one the night before and then not believe it when it’s negative....haha. Hope you get a different result with FMU!

@acle@acleverusername Ugh, I’m sorry this wasn’t your cycle. I hope the overindulging was fun at least! And yes I am very much in the “drink til it’s pink” camp but once I get to 10 dpo I’m only comfortable drinking if I know for sure it’s not pink if that makes sense!
  • @bows22 I hope the smelly sanitizer is a good sign!! Also, there is no such thing as too much online shopping as long as you can "justify" the purchase!

@keikilove Yes to the meditation and yoga! That sounds like the best way to start a Monday!

@runningoncookies Ugh, I'm sorry for the BFN again. Give yourself some time to wallow about this cycle and don't think about the next one for a few days.

@inthewoods23 that is dangerous to have that app on your phone. I would 100% be shopping much more with that. And like you, I've had my fair share of smelly sanitizers. Work shipped us gallon jugs and the last batch smelled like it came from a distillery.

@babyfeverbeliever FX for a FMU test tomorrow!!

@Lauren_620 good for you taking Friday and Monday off! I'm taking next Mon-Wed off to give myself some relax time. Give yourself some grace on not getting in O this cycle.

@akoros ugh, communication is key at work. Thats crappy you weren't given clear reasons but at least you were able to get out of it that you weren't needed.

@acleverusername Sorry about the BFNs :( What kind of wine did you indulge in?

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 20/7

    Timing: -5,-3,O, +3

    Typical LP length: 14

    Testing: not unless late

R/R: Off today but my sister roped me into making 12 cheer sashes for her senior girls since I have a Cricut. Then as she is driving out she calls and says she has to do them for the Senior football players. I'll be in crafting h*l! all afternoon now. But, at least I'm off on a Monday, so bright side :)

CS/Q: CH moved again after I logged my temp, back to the original O day. I think maybe my thermometer is the problem.

  • @akoros missed your update while I was composing mine; good for you for speaking out and questioning the need for the meeting / the need for it to be in person. And, well, as you know AF symptoms are early pregnancy symptoms are very similar, so... maybe there's still a chance?

@bows22 the overindulging was definitely fun, but I am a little sluggish this morning and the end of the evening is a little fuzzy on the details.

@And846 Enjoy your crafting afternoon and the day off work. I had to look up what a Cricut is. We indulged in both Red and White wine.

  • Whew, it's been a hectic Monday at work! Coming back to tag those I missed earlier

@inthewoods23 Also wanted to add Thanks so much for the positive vibes! You know I'm sending them right back to you <3 Too funny what you said about not noticing any additional symptoms when doing estrace and progesterone.  I'm actually relived you said that: I'm doing both of them a different way this time compared to how I supplemented with them after the IUIs, and the current symptoms are a lot less with the new dosing.  Trying to not let any doubt creep in...

@babyfeverbeliever Sorry for the circumstances of the bfn. It is so hard to not do that to ourselves! This is actually my first time not testing early, and I finally understand why people wait! I hope you get a better result tomorrow. FX!

@Lauren_0620 Thank you for the positive thoughts!  It sounds like you made a really smart choice to take some days off on either end of the week to minimize your stress levels. Your timing looks great!

@akoros Good to see you back here today. Your rant sounds completely warranted, and thank goodness the 'tantrum' worked. BTW, your lunch sounds absolutely delicious!

@acleverusername You get a full co-sign from me on the wine indulgence over the weekend.  Sometimes it feels like the only way to cope with such bummer news. Glad you didn't feel the after-effects too badly today.  Hope the chat with the RE goes great tomorrow!  Enjoy the time off from hyper-focused TTC--exhausting is right!

@bows22 I haven't decided when I will test.  I had an appointment with my RI's nurse today, and she said that testing earlier than the day my betas are scheduled is really too early.  If anything, at best it might give me a very very low positive--which will just have me freaked out, so probably not worth the stress of worrying that that result could mean another potential CP. I think I really may have truly turned a corner with this cycle and changed my serial testing habits and will try to just chill until betas this week.  I am in shock that I haven't tested today, my usual 9DPO test schedule--I guess I'm really thankful for how busy today has been to keep me occupied! We shall see what the week holds and if I can stick to this resolve...

@And846 Yes, the yoga and meditations have been amazing for keeping my energy in balance and returning me to peace instead of stress. I wish I'd taken up these habits a long time ago. I hope that your crafting project has been gong smoothly.  That sounds like a lot of work!  I hope your sister showers you with gratitude. :)
