Trying to Get Pregnant

TWW Wednesday 9/16

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. Thanks for keeping this a safe place for us all to engage!**

    Happy hump day ladies!

    Month/Cycle: 40/28 or 29?
    CD/DPO: 22/6
Timing: -3, maybe +2 is relevant lol
    Typical LP length: 13 days
Testing: Friday next week if no AF
R/R: I'm going to be amazed if no sex within 2 days of O in their direction gets us KU. Can you imagine? Lol. Anyway, coworker is at a customer site today so I'm on my own for customer calls and emails. It's been kinda light so should be manageable today. Follow up with the 2nd RE at 4 to get her opinion. I'm basically already prepared to hear the best option is to just move forward with a FET. I would estimate that the FET would be sometime in December, maybe early January with the holidays. I'm just ready to get going!
    CS/Q: big temp bump today

  • @inthewoods23 I’ll be looking forward to hearing what the RE says! Also who knows maybe -3 timing is the trick you needed😂. Trying something different never hurts haha

    Month/Cycle: 22/24

    CD/DPO: 19/4

    Timing: -2,-1,O

    Typical LP length: 12

    Testing: 10 or 11 DPO

R/R: I got up so late today ugh. I was sooo tired and kept hitting snooze. I think these cooler mornings are making me want to sleep more. Even our dog slept in, he usually starts going nuts around his breakfast time. But he was just chilling in his bed. So a lazy morning here! Going to get my day started though. I have one audit that I am kind of dreading finishing because it’s a disaster, but I have a call today to go over some of the issues so I’m hoping that kicks me into gear to get it finished.

    CS/Q:

  • @bows22 You know, the funny thing is I wanted to get a HIO session in on Thursday but I think we were both tired (or maybe had an argument ha). Ugh! I could've unexpectedly gotten O added to my timing. Darn lol. I'm also having a hard time getting out of bed! And it's not not even dark out when I need to get up. Maybe it is the cooler weather (windows have been open overnight) that keeps me under the blankets.

  • @inthewoods23 how the RE has a path forward for your!

@bows22 yes, the cold mornings make you just want to snuggle under the covers where it is cozy!

    Month/Cycle: 4/4

    CD/DPO: 24/7

    Timing: -1

    Typical LP length: 12 days

    Testing: Saturday!

R/R: excited to head to the camp for our 5 day weekend! Trying to pack as much of our food as possible to bring so we do not need to go out to much. Though we may go out for dinner one night. There are a few places that have outside dining and we are hoping the cool temps will keep people away. It was cold in our room last night and I was stuffy, so I think I was not breathing last night. Hoping that caused my temp drop. RHR stayed the same, so trying not to lose hope.

Testing: Not unless I'm late. RHR ticked down a bit this morning, so I do think I freaked out over nothing

R/R: I'm with you all, I had to drag myself out of bed this morning. Even the cat refused to budge (she normally likes to sit on my husband in the morning and then follows him downstairs. That said, the cool weather is making me so happy. I've got my hoodie and socks on, and a furball glued to my lap!

  • @inthewoods23 FX for your follow up appointment today!
@bows22 glad you got to sleep in!
@DoubleUp8 enjoy your last weekend at the lake!
@akoros at least your cat just sits on YH, our cat will meow at the top of his lungs until he wakes up the whole house. Or he will jump up on our dresser and knock everything off with his cute little paws like the little sh*t he is. Gotta love 'em!

    Month/Cycle: 10/10

    CD/DPO: 25/11

    Timing: good

    Typical LP length: 13 days

Testing: no desire to see a BFN

R/R: I was watching The Home Edit's show on Netflix and they were doing a woman's closet and talked about how they can have an "aspirational denim" category. Like jeans that are maybe one or two sizes too small that you keep. But I was looking at my closet this morning, thinking I should get rid of some jeans and noticed that I have been hanging on to a few pairs that are too big because *I might totes get KU and need a slightly bigger pair for first tri.* It's not normal to keep aspriational clothes that are too BIG!

Also anyone else thinking that grads have to come in three's so I'm looking at you guys in the TWW to graduate!

@akoros my cat is also a reason it's hard to get out of bed. She lays between/on my legs and I don't want to disturb her

@krash_ I have at least 1 pair of jeans like that. Maybe it's 2 now that I've lost a bunch of weight from the diet. Hoping that means I won't need maternity pants in the future until like 3rd tri. Although at this point with the pandemic, I'm hoping I'm in sweatpants/yoga pants the whole time!

  • @DoubleUp8 enjoy your time at the lake! That small dip is nothing to worry about. Your chart looks great!

@krash_ I love your reverse aspirational clothing hahah. I hope you need them soon!! I can’t remember, do you temp? If you aren’t going to test you should at least let us stalk your chart haha!
  • @inthewoods23 Hopefully you get encouraging news from the 2nd opinion and get start down that path if you need to. Never know, -3 might work, they can live that long! Also on your note about arguing...isn't that awkward when you have an argument and then the clock is ticking and you really don't want to miss prime time but you're still annoyed lol

@bows22 I have been feeling SO TIRED this week, mornings have been a huge struggle for me. Also very busy at work but that's probably a good thing because when I have down time I can't quit yawning. I just yawned while I typed yawn!

@akoros My cat has to be locked out of the room because he will always come in and jump on MY nightstand and start knocking EVERYTHING off until I get up and feed him. Doesn't touch ANYTHING on my husband's! He must know that guy isn't going to get up for that

@krash_ If it's not normal to have clothes that are too big them I'm also not normal because I have those too!

    Month/Cycle: 5/5

    CD/DPO: 21/6

    Timing: -3, -2, O

    Typical LP length: 14 days

Testing: I am going to REALLY try not to test early this cycle. Too emotional. I have been testing out the trigger the past 2 months but I'm going to try to not test until sometime next week.

R/R: I really love reading all the posts on here and I feel like I'm getting to know some of you. However, I have been doing more lurking than posting. I've found it a bit difficult to actually get the posts up, but I am going to work on that!

    CS/Q: n/a

  • @bows22 I'm not temping right now we are going for the "don't get all stressed out doing all the things" approach to TTC right now. Don't know what we'll do if this cycle isn't it.

  • @babyfeverbeliever it's been a pattern of us having some dumb argument right at the start of FW for the last 3 months. I'm always like "god I hope he doesn't reject my FW advances so we have a shot!". We've always been okay within a day or 2 so hasn't been an issue when the timing matters.

  • @inthewoods23 I hope your follow-up went well!

@bows22 I totally agree that the cool weather/bedroom temp makes it so much harder to get out of bed.

@DoubleUp8 a 5-day getaway sounds lovely! Hopefully wherever you go out to dinner isn’t too crowded.

@akoros my cat likes to stand on me and pure/meow directly into my ear if I'm not up and petting her by 7:30. She doesn’t even get fed in the morning, she just wants us up! Never bothers DH though

@krash_ I feel like I have clothes for every season that are slightly too big that I keep purely “just in case I might need them”

@babyfeverbeliever sometimes it’s so hard to not test early! I feel like it’s a willpower exercise every single cycle.

    Month/Cycle: 9/9

    CD/DPO: 28/8

    Timing: -5, -3, -1, O, +1

Typical LP length: on progesterone so at least 14

    Testing: maybe this weekend?

R/R: I forgot how good actually going to the school building is for keeping my mind off SS all day long. When I’m at work, I’m so busy that I have zero time to obsess over my chart, vs when I was at home is was literally all I thought about. That combined with O looking like it was earlier than I originally thought is making this TWW fly! That’s the first time I have ever said that lol

CS/Q: my luteal line disappeared! And I got pretty psyched about that temp bump today but I’m trying to not think about it too hard.

  • @akoros hoodies and kitty cuddles are the best!

@krash_ I'm glad I'm not the only one with a few slightly bigger wardrobe items I'm hanging onto in case I get KU.

@bows22 thanks! I've been feeling extra hopeful this cycle, so I'm trying not to let my pet chart get my hopes up even more. We'll see what tomorrow's temp brings!

@babyfeverbeliever my cat does that too. Bugs me and not DH which it's funny because he usually feeds her in the mornings. :D So out she went!

Sigh. Looks like I'll just be lurking this week. But just wanted to say:

@krash_ 💯 to "Also anyone else thinking that grads have to come in three's so I'm looking at you guys in the TWW to graduate!" I hope so! Either from here or the IF thread (praying really hard) hopefully has a few future grads in the making! FX to us all. ar

@runningoncookies @inthewoods23 SEXY temp bumps! Keep up the good work. 🤞🏻🙏🏻

@akoros my RHR has been playing mind tricks on me this cycle too. I'm dying a slow death over here.

@bows22 I love me a good chart stalk. As evidenced by my comment above. GL with your dreadful audit!

@babyfeverbeliever You are strong! You can do this! Those little strips have no power over you!
