Trying to Get Pregnant

New in town*progesterone help!

Hello all! I have watched this site for years reading good stories and sad. I am looking for advice and support also! So i decided to become a member and post to see if anyone had anything to offer! I am 33 years old. long story short i was married for 10 years and ttc for almost 6 of that. we ended in divorce and i have been with my new husband for 4 years now and finally happy and found where i needed to be in life. we have been ttc for 3 years. the back story i have endometriosis (which was lazered over 15 years ago) and i also apparently have one polycystic ovary. and did some research on getting pregnant with natural help i found a study done on bee propilis, red raspberry leaf, and maca root i took it routinely for a year and became pregnant last feb 2019 which ended in m/c. went to the ob she said she has faith that i can get pregnant and did a day 21 progesterone level on me which ended up being low. im only on month 2 i start it 3 days after ovulation. but now im reading all kinds of things about taking asprin with it along with mucinex? ive also read about people taking premama wellness and myo-inositol, vit c, folic acid... i mean how much can one person take? any advice? also how long should i let myself try the progesterone before i say lets move onto the next step ive already wasted so much time... thank you in advance for any help or advice you have to offer!

  • @christin83119 Welcome! This post would be great in the Chart Stalk/Questions thread. I’m not sure if anyone has created one for September—I will go do that now if not.
I’ve heard of all the things you’ve mentioned. The jury is out on bee propolis, but Maca & red raspberry leaf tea are commonly used while TTC. Personally, I was raised around pregnancy & birth (lots of midwives in my family) & I was always taught that red raspberry leaf tea is only for the 3rd trimester to tone the uterus for delivery. It causes cramps so I do not use it while TTC.
If your progesterone is low then you need to supplement, period. There is no way to sustain a healthy pregnancy without a healthy level of progesterone.
I take many many supplements to support TTC, as do many members here. You will want to jump into the daily threads (WTO specifically) to see what everyone else is doing.
