    Month/Cycle: 3/4

CD: 1 probably. Started spotting last night and had a MASSIVE temp drop this morning. ETA: AF has entered the building.

WAYDTGKU: vitamins, OPKs, BBT, HIO EOD, CM, CP. Kind of debating just stopping everything but OPKs this cycle. Gave myself a lot of false hope last cycle.

R/R: rant that AF is showing her ugly face.

CS/Q: end of last cycles chart....just for kicks

  • @chindimples04 Sorry you find yourself back on this side of things!

    Month/Cycle: 2/2 AL

    CD: 6

WAYDTGKU: tracking BBT and OPKs, though technically benched for now

R/R: Rave: The cat shit room is no more! I finished paining the ceiling and ripped up all of the carpet. Renovation is underway!

Rant: talked to the lab yesterday and they told me the tests aren’t even running yet (!?) because they don’t have all the needed paperwork, so that is annoying. I may be out again this month which sucks.

    CS/Q: Nothing worth seeing.

  • @chindimples04 ugh, charting is great for finding O, but really sucks in the TWW when it stays up like that. My temps seem to stay up a bit even after AF arrives. Boo CD1!

    Month/Cycle: since 2017

    CD: 9

WAYDTGKU: all the things - wait I'm supposed to be benched aren't I? 🤷‍♀️ Still gonna temp and use OPKs so I can predict my cycle length

R/R: man am I glad it's actually Thursday and not Wednesday. I've been in a weird headspace this week. Almost just going through the motions. I have an appointment with my therapist today so that should be some good conversation.

CS/Q: temps are always kinda weird in the beginning

    @chindimples04 Sorry AF showed up.

@fitzfizz Yay house projects. I need to get back at mine! Boo tests. That's so frustrating that they haven't started running them yet due to paperwork.

@inthewoods23 I hope your appointment goes well and helps you get back into a better head space.

    Month/Cycle: 4/4

    CD: 11

WAYDTGKU: OPKs (1st cycle), BBT, HIO EOD (after labor day), PNV

R/R: Excited to be heading up to the lake this weekend, but bummed DH can't come. I am not a good girl like @krash_ and I have no qualms about sneakily HIO while at my parents or the ILs if we are TTC  >:). Maybe slightly embarassing, but it's for a good cause! I told him we need to HIO Friday morning before his run and Monday when I get back just to be safe. He seems on board, so fingers crossed! I am worried I will O early and it will be over the weekend. I am packing OPK supplies to help figure it all out.

CS/Q: I've been spamming the OPK thread, so I am good.

  • @chindimples04 sorry for AF!!

@fitzfizz that is so so so frustrating about the lab! Ugh. Hopefully they get whatever paperwork they need soon.

@inthewoods23 Hopefully talking with your therapist will help you feel a little bit better later!

@DoubleUp8 hopefully even if O does come early if you hit Friday and Monday it’ll still be good timing!

    Month/Cycle: 9/9

    CD: 15

WAYDTGKU: temping, OPKs, PNV, baby aspirin, progesterone after O

R/R: So I have been making it my mission currently to live a more sustainable/natural life, which is turning out to be quite challenging. I’ve switched to some cleaner skincare and started using natural deodorant, but have been kind of stuck there for a little while. Well yesterday DH and I settled on some “good for you/good for the planet” bedding and I’m so excited!! And I bought a couple bins to start trying to compost so that’ll be interesting too. I think I tend to dive into this stuff more when I’m trying to not obsess over TTC stuff lol. But good things happening over here!

    CS/Q:

  • @DoubleUp8 our lake vacations with DH's family had the rule of no hanky panky but we definitely broke that one year because FW fell during the week we were there. We had to be ultra quiet since it's a small cottage! That's also when we found out DH LOVES near silence DTD. Or it was the thrill of trying not to get caught idk lol

@runningoncookies I tried natural deodorant once and it did nothing for me. What brand do you use?

  • @inthewoods23 I tried a few different kinds and have landed on Primally Pure! DH uses it too and actually likes it better than his non-natural deodorant. It’s definitely pricier than other kinds and you have to buy it online, but I have no complaints and I’m happy to do something good for my body. My second favorite is Native (I like that I can buy it almost anywhere) but I’ve found that I typically have to reapply right before an afternoon workout or it’s terrible for everyone around me.

I also definitely had to stick with the switch for a few weeks of not smelling great before I felt like it was truly working. That was a perk of switching during quarantine: I was only offending myself and DH lol!!
  • @chindimples04 sorry for AF hopefully she takes it easy on you.
@fitzfizz yay for getting the renovation underway! We switched out the big hutch in our dinning room for a smaller buffet last night and even just that little project feels like a major face lift!
@inthewoods23 GL with your appointment today. It definitely has been a weird week. Hang in there!
@DoubleUp8 so when we go to my IL's house we stay in my FIL's bed which just doesn't set the mood for HIO. They have a small house and MIL and FIL sleep in separate rooms so no guest bedroom so when we stay we take FIL's room and he sleeps on an air mattress in the unfinished basement.
@runningoncookies glad you are finding new ways to make changes! We love composting, MH has three different bins behind our shed for different types of compost and to mix them up. It's definitely a rabbit hole to go down but I've left it all up to him lol.

    Month/Cycle: 10/10

    CD: 12

    WAYDTGKU: HIO

R/R: We got it in last night and we're leaving on Saturday so hopefully if we get Saturday morning before we head out of town we should have ok timing. It's so weird not doing all the things. I'm also still on the fence about if we're making the right choice to be TTC. I go back and forth almost daily and I think it's mostly because I feel like I will be judged by people who know what is going on for getting pregnant so soon.

  • @fitzfizz Oof, there was carpet in the shit room? Glad it's ripped up, and yay for progress! On a similar note we ordered a door for our cat's shit room (aka laundry room). Once it's delivered we get to figure out how to cut a cat-sized hole in the bottom, but hoping that it'll cut down on the smell (not too bad, mostly just after she poops) and noise (from the laundry machines and HVAC). I don't know why they took the door out in the first place, kind of irritating. My husband really wanted to do a bead door, which I vetoed, so now he wants to do a mini-bead door for the cat hole....we'll see how this goes.

@inthewoods23 Good luck with your appointment! I hope it's helpful in getting to a better place.

@DoubleUp8 I don't know specifically what "HIO" means, but I think I get the gist and have totally done that at my in-laws (and my parents' house), even when not TTC. The door to our room closes and we can be quiet enough if necessary, so why not?

Month/Cycle: 1/1, though really I guess it's really 27 months overall (not sure how to count cycles with losses)

    CD: 11

WAYDTGKU: OPKs (Pregmate strips, which I'll start tomorrow morning), vitamins

R/R: Rave: it's my Friday (off tomorrow)! Rant: not motivated to work

    CS/Q: no chart

  • @runningoncookies That sounds like a good goal, especially when you are at home and can easily make those types of changes.

@krash_ ah, yes, I could see how that could be a turn off. I said no when we visited my grandparents. Our cabin is more like @inthewoods23 small and needing quiet, not sleeping in someone else's bed.

@inthewoods23 DH also likes to DTD in sneaky, quiet, situations. It must be a guy thing. I find it annoying to have to remember to stay quiet.

@akoros lol at a mini-bead door for the cat hole. All I can think of is the cat getting the beads off and the below happening with a cat knocking beads everywhere!

I had a doctor's appointment this morning (establishing with a new PCP finally!) and then b2b meetings, so I'm only now getting a chance to post! Thread is hopping!

@chindimples04 😕I am sorry to see you here instead of the grad thread. Hugs.
@fitzfizz That's incredible about the lab results. 🙀I'm sorry this is continuing to delay your TTC efforts. Who's blocking the paperwork? Also, congrats on the cat carpet being gone! What a big accomplishment!
@inthewoods23 I hope your call with therapist puts you in a better mood for the long weekend. I've decided to start therapy too; I figure it's good to stay on top of it.
@DoubleUp8 too bad YH can't come! Hopefully HIO before and after will do the trick! If you stress enough about it, maybe you can delay O. 🤣
@runningoncookies good luck with composting! I'm also of the mindset of "doing what I can for the planet" (but not _all_ I can... zero waste ppl amaze and shock me!).
@krash_ at the end of the day it's your and YHs decision; there's never a right time to have a baby. But... I know how hard it is to make a decision without the bias of "what others will think". Sending you hugs of support.
@akoros you can always say 27/1 AL for "27 months, 1 cycle after loss". HIO = hump it out.

    Month/Cycle: 8/8

    CD: 8

WAYDTGKU: Clomid + IUI; plus PNV and all kinds of supplements

R/R: rave -- super proud of MH because today he's finally hit the upper bound of Normal BMI range! He's been on a mission to lose weight for the past year but his motivation wanes and he tends to plateau (he loves pizza and bread). We were eating a lot of carbs / grains when quarantine started, and drinking lots of N/A beer, so that had him stuck at a certain weight. Alas, once we started Whole30 in July, that all changed! He's lost 11lbs since end of June. I'm really hoping his progress will be reflected in his spermies next week when we do IUI!

rant -- like @akoros not motivated to work at all!

CS/Q: Too lazy to share plus does it really matter at this stage? I have to say that I'm finally coming around to Tempdrop; it really took like 2 months of it to get to know me, but given that it accurately pinpointed my O last cycle, despite some pretty freaky temp fluctuations after LH surge, I'm leaning towards keeping it and stopping using my oral bbt thermometer.

OPKs have been really low so far (.1 and .13) so I am hoping I have a little more time before O! Great job by your husband! It is hard to stick with it when you plateau. @akoros omg my cat would 100% be terrified of a bead door! She’s afraid of everything lol

@acleverusername oh I so totally agree. I don’t think I could ever take it that far! I’m definitely of the opinion that even if I just do a little I’m bettering the environment!
  • @chindimples04- I am so sorry. That temp drop is heartbreaking!

    @DoubleUp8
     - I’m definitely with you when it comes to HIO 😂

@fitzfizz  - wahoo for house renos! So nice to get in there and make the space yours

@inthewoods23 - hope you had a great apt.

@runningoncookies- good for you! What a great thing to dive into. In the city I live composting is required and the city will come pick it up. It was a little tricky getting into the habit but now it's second nature and feels so strange when I go on vacation and don't do it.

@acleverusername- way to go to your husband! Good for him! Also way to go both of  you on the whole 30, I did it awhile back and it was no joke!

@krash_ - so hard not to get into your head about what other people think. The right people will be by your side.

    Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD: 2

WAYDTGKU:  temping, using FF, upped our frequency, taking a prenatal, thinking about diving into OPK (i'm not entirely sure I'm ovulating)

R/R: When I shared in the newbie thread about how I am feeling lonely through this process I realized I really needed to talk to DH about it since I don't know if he knows the extent. After dinner tonight we've set aside some time to chat about what's going on. I have an appointment to go talk to my doctor and get more testing for my endo but I was really hoping to tell him that I was pregnant this month and that we needed to put the testing on pause.

@krash_ Seconding @runningoncookies advice: all that matters is what's right for you and your partner.

@acleverusername Ah, thank you! In that case I guess I'm 27/2 AL (on my second cycle). And have to say "HIO" is a new one, never heard that before!
  • @MrsBlindLove I can't tell from your update if you've had the chat or will have it; either way, I hope it's a good convo. FX!
