Omg we tried to start Breaking Bad a few months ago and we couldn’t handle it!! Such a good show and evvvvveryone talks about it but dang it was depressing and DH and I ended up arguing a ton and we totally think it was due to the negativity of the show!!
So we switched to West Wing & were currently on season two - love that show!! (Probably 3rd time we’re watching it?).
On my own - 7th Heaven 😂 Anyone else remember that show? I loved it growing up, I guess I was in high school (or maybe middle, I don’t remember) when I first started watching reruns of it. I watch it in the afternoon when DD2 is napping and DD1 is entertaining herself.
When the girls go to bed at night, DH and I have been watching ER! I never watched it growing up, but he saw some episodes here and there. It’s funny how many people are on the show for an episode or two that then went on to be in other shows that we’ve watched together. And George Clooney in the beginning is so young! We’re in season 8. Some of the episodes (especially with babies) are borderline too much for me, but I enjoy it way more than Grey’s anatomy.
I've been trying to finish Shameless. It's one of those shows that I'm invested in now and I just have to finish, only 2 more seasons to go. The show has taken so many dark twists and turns that it's so depressing to watch and I kind of don't root for anyone anymore, I just want to see how it ends at this point.
@goldpolkadot I've never watched Breaking Bad either, and at this point I feel like it's too late to jump on the bandwagon. Apparently, Ozark on Netflix is the same premise, but some people think it's done better and it's more modern. I've been thinking about checking it out since there aren't that many seasons.
@bblair24 I remember 7th Heaven! I watched that in middle school or high school too; it feels like so long ago it's hard to remember! I know ER got a ton of hype, but I can't do medical shows, they're too unrealistic for me, and I need a separation of work and home lol.
We are watching Criminal Minds, I think we're in the 6th season or so. It's been good; we both like psychological thrillers. We watched a couple episodes of Jane the Virgin, but during our IF struggles, it was too much for me to handle. Maybe I'd like it more now, as something that is on the lighter side.
@bbrahmbhatt that’s understandable that you wouldn’t want to watch a medical show when that’s your every day life! We’ve watched lots of doctor shows. They fascinate me. 😂
@thedomesticgeek it’s on Hulu! We don’t have Hulu live, just the one that’s like on-demand streaming. I don’t know if that makes a difference!
Hubby and I are going through Star Wars slowly but surely. I had only seen the originals & first two prequels before, and now I’m obsessed like my Dad lol. We also watch Modern Family.
Hubby & Me: Born 1993 Married: August 2013 Son: December 2018 Baby in heaven: February 2020, was due Sept
I just finished the first season of Schitt's Creek and am enjoying it. We also like to watch a few British comedy/game shows and have been watching a lot of Taskmaster lately.
@bblair24 LOVED 7th Heaven!! I would totally go back and watch that all over again! With both of my girls I watched through all of Gilmore Girls again during each mat leave!
@goldpolkadot Gilmore Girls is one of my favorites! ❤️ We recently canceled our Netflix because we weren’t really watching it anymore. I told DH we could get rid of it once I finished watching through GG. It was probably the 4th or 5th time I watched through it! 😂
@bblair24 haha I get that! We actually did the opposite and cancelled our hulu but now I'm wishing we had it back!! I had wanted to watch Little Fires Everywhere too but we had cancelled right before it came out. Maybe I'll re-up for a month or two so I can watch those two!
@goldpolkadot yeah I kind of regret getting rid of Netflix! There are some shows with further seasons that I’m going to want to watch. We signed up with my email last time, so I told DH we’d sign up for a free trial with his email address whenever I want to get it back. 😜
@goldpolkadot@bblair24 I have watched Gilmore Girls a lot. Many, many times. It's my comfort watch, along with the Harry Potter movies (especially the early ones).
Rewatching GBBO because I can half watch while I do other things, and out it on low while DH sleeps (he works nights). I also started Marvelous Mrs Maisel and finally got past the accent on High Seas.
We're about to Marathon all 6 Lord of the Rings Extended Edition movies. I prefer to do that in the cooler Temps, but this year, summer ain't letting go. Still 100+
My husband and I just watched Schitt's Creek and we were obsessed, it's such a good show. I love the character development of the really superficial snobby characters.
@pelorunningmama selling sunset was so good! I was hesitant to watch at first because I thought it was going to be more about real estate haha, but once I started I realized it was just more drama and very addicting haha.
@theblondebump I binged Gossip Girl during my last pregnancy... and i'm planning to do it again with this one! I've also heard a lot of buzz about Yellowstone recently, i'll have to check that out!

@kadeephd I started watching the second season last week! I’m really liking it!
I just finished binging Teenage Bounty Hunters on Netflix. Gilmore Girls is my go-to "background" tv while working.
My dreams are already so intense and crazy, so i have to keep it light with my tv shows haha
@thedomesticgeek I may need to try Ozark!
