  • Interesting. I hate the waste that breast pads create, but the reusable ones are way to bulky. I'll have to read reviews on these. Thanks for sharing!

  • Sorry, that's bizarre.   Do you really leak enough that you'd need to save it??   and don't you need to get to the fridge to dump it?

  • OMG!  That's awesome!  I have been thinking what a shame it is that I lose that milk from the other side when I have a letdown!!

  • Has anyone else found thin reusable nursing pads? That's the only reason I would want these.

  • I think that they are totally worth checking out.

And I'll bite- those of you with other comments- didn't BF'd, right?

Actually I know for sure that a few of  those with the "other comments" did BF thier children. I BF my first for 14 months and am currently BF'ing my 2nd. I have to agree with some of the above that they seem silly to me. But then again With both children I have not had any issues with premature letdown or leaking when feeding on on side. onw side has started while feeding on the other a couple times but only because I was away from baby for about 6 hours and about to burst both times.

IDK maybe I am just a lucky one and have never had to worry about breast pads?

  • I leaked from the other side and could never pump enough, so to me, it seems like a dream come true. ?It was almost painful to know that milk was being wasted. ?I'm honestly surprised that so many of you think it's strange. ?Hmm.

  • This seems a bit like the plastic cups to help inverted nipples.  I think they're made by Avent.  I used those in the beginning at night because my nipples where sore and they allowed much better airflow.  They did collect quite a bit of milk but the packaging advised that it wasn't suitable for feeding and should be tossed.  Since these are marketed for saving the milk it must a little different or maybe they advise how frequently to empty them.

Also, for reusable, thin nursing pads try Lilypadz.  They don't work well in the early weeks if you leak a lot (which I did) but they're very effective once your milk is regulated!

  • I don't leak enough for this to be at all worth it to me.  It looks uncomfortable adn I would literally get maybe 3 drops per feeding from the other side.

I BF #1 for 1 year, #2 for 3 months and am on # 3 and intend to attempt 1 year again. ;0)

But hey, if you leak a lot, I can see this being wonderful I suppose.

  • I've seen these and plan to get some...however they will NOT be on the registry!  ;)

  • I think this is a fabulous idea! I have a small milk supply and want to use every ounce of it for my baby. I leak every time I go to work for four short hours.
  • I haven't not gone to teh website yet, but I knew exactly what you were talking about!

I just saw the ad for them in my PG'y magazine I was reading on the plane home yesterday.  I dog eared the page thinking that was SOO cool!

I too would soak a nursing pad on the opposite side while feeding on the other.  I can't wait to give them a try and see if it actually works!

  • Oh I'd definitely use those!!!  I leaked sooo much from my other breast while feeding.  It was sad to see it go to waste!

I was shocked too that so many people thought they were strange!  I guess it all depends on how much you leak!  I used to go through 2 pads AND have to change my tank in the middle of the night!
