Upcoming Appointments: 9/2 (I am going biweekly now)
Rant/Rave: School starts today and I have emailed my professors about pregnancy so just anxiously waiting their responses! Not sure if it'll be a rant or rave til I hear back, lol. Rant - the guy refinishing the floors in our new house still hasn't started even though he said he would start last week. We can't move in until they're done so I am just annoyed, especially because he didn't even let us know he wasn't starting, we had to track him down.

GTKY: What is your biggest pet peeve? Hmmm... probably when I am spending time with someone and they have their face glued to their phone... drives me crazy! MH is terrible about it.

Upcoming Appointments: 9/2 for routine OB (also going bi-weekly) and then the week of 9/7 I start 2x per week visits for growth scans and NSTs
Rant/Rave: Rave - yay for finally being all moved in! It was filled with issues for a couple days, but I am glad to start making this our home! Rant - life has kept me away from here, but can't wait to catch up!

GTKY: What is your biggest pet peeve? Loud chewing and/or mouth noises of any kind...I think I have that phobia where it literally makes my skin crawl to hear it LOL

Rant/Rave: Rant. Today was the first day of virtual school. DD did great! I did not. Apparently I realized I REALLY want her to do well. It was really stinking hard to sit back. But she typed, scanned, tested, and did really well. I had no idea I would be so much of a helicopter. It really stressed me out! Ofcourse I shared this with my mom and yet again she wanted me to take DD out of school, quit my job....Not my jam. Just annoying kind of day.

GTKY: What is your biggest pet peeve? Right now it’s toddlers who decide that waking up at 3am is just hilarious. Or who won’t go to sleep 🤬

Upcoming Appointments: Thursday 8/27 MFM, Monday 8/31 nutritionist for GDM, 9/14 OB
Rant/Rave: Had an appt with my OB yesterday and am excited to be referred to an MFM. While it’s partially for the GD I can also get input about other high-risk and can discuss possibly scheduling c-section. I also made my next OB appt with someone who actually delivers at the hospital I’ll be delivering at which is most exciting thing yet

GTKY: What is your biggest pet peeve? People talking/watching videos on their phone super loud in public without headphones. I don’t want to be part of their conversation and it just drives me crazy

Upcoming Appointments: 9/4 for OB 9/11 for 30+ week scan
Rant/Rave: I just got back from a long weekend upstate and had an amazing time. We basically spent the entire time doing nothing! We laid by the pool, swam, played some games, and spent a lot of time outdoors. The weather was gorgeous! It was really nice to detach from the monotony of social distancing in the city and get a little more space as well as celebrate our 5-year wedding anniversary. DH had taken the whole week off, we spent a lot of time just relaxing as well as prepping a little bit for baby.

GTKY: What is your biggest pet peeve? Lateness. I am super punctual, if I'm not 5-mins early, then I usually feel like I'm late. I hate being late and I hate when other people are late.
@bserena That's super annoying about your floors. Hopefully, they start soon so you can move in ASAP!
@jaclyn0405 Glad to see you back. I generally don't care about food noises UNLESS it's somebody slurping. DH does this and I constantly have to nag him not to slurp.
@name1109 Glad DD had a great first day at [virtual] school! Kids are pretty awesome at being adaptable - always impresses me to see them surpass expectations!
@jzajac06 I hate, hate, hate that, too! Especially in elevators or subways cars. Drives me up a wall!

Upcoming Appointments: I had my regular OB appt today. I saw my normal Dr (I have seen her close to 10 years) and she's just so wonderful. She made me feel really confident with the dilation (no check, bc I don't need/want it) and the low platelet count. Will follow up with MFM in 2 weeks (dilation in baby kidneys) and then see OB to recheck platelets. Oh I also got Tdap today.
Rant/Rave: Pregnancy in a pandemic sucks. So over it/hurray for great providers 😁

GTKY: What is your biggest pet peeve? Going to join in with the phones in public. I teach at a community college. I do not understand face timing in the hallway or worse the bathroom. I hate to even carry my phone in the bathroom!
Week of pregnancy: 30w 5d
Baby is the size of: zucchini, length of a football
Upcoming Appointments: had my OB on Monday, next one in 3 weeks since we'll both be away on vacation
Rant/Rave: my patience is wearing thin at work (understaffed nursing home).
DH has been rocking it with the household chores. I'm so grateful he does so much for us around the house.

GTKY: What is your biggest pet peeve?
Bad drivers. Whether they don't use turn signals, tailgate, drive recklessly or honestly I hate it when I'm at a 4 way stop and it's clearly their turn but they wait and then wave me to go. No, that's not how this works. Now you've wasted everyone's time.
Week of pregnancy: 30w2d
Baby is the size of: zucchini (which I thought was smaller than an eggplant?)
Upcoming Appointments: 9/8 with midwife, followed by chiropractor
Rant/Rave: My arm is so sore from the Tdap! Getting out of bed was already hard lol. I go back to work next week (teacher) and while I'm nervous about going back in person, I'm eager to get back to my routines and seeing everyone again!
Questions? I'm afraid I'm going to miss the private TB/FB boat. Will it be posted super clearly on the board for how to do that?
GTKY: What is your biggest pet peeve? +1 on the loud chewing! I've avoided work break rooms for this reason.
