Trying to Get Pregnant

GTKY Thursday/Friday 8.20

Thought I'd keep the food/drink theme going. :) Sorry this pic is enormous.

Re: GTKY Thursday/Friday 8.20

  • Depends on the tea. Non-herbal tea probably Werther's Original.

  • Is “no that’s coffee” actually tea or is it coffee? I love tea but don’t put anything in besides MAYBE lemon. Maybe. So I think out of milk may be my answer?

The thought of milk in tea is gross to me. Except I do like chai lattes? I don’t make sense.
  • Loading the player...
  • I'm usually Werther's Original or He-Man. With herbal tea, I don't add milk or cream. I don't drink too much herbal tea besides the occasional cup of peppermint tea. :)
  • I have never added milk to any kind of tea. I just add a little sugar.

So I guess I fall in the "no! that's coffee" camp

  • It -really- depends on the tea for me. My herbal blends I usually drink plain but there are a handful of exceptions that I like to add milk or cream to. Most non-herbal teas get the Werther's treatment.

  • No milk in tea for me. But “no, that’s coffee!” looks like it was steeped too long. I’d go with the “out of milk”
  • @fitzfizz yes! no that’s coffee looks crusty and forgotten about. Out of milk is perfect
  • I don’t put anything in my tea except honey. I have no idea where this would fall on the spectrum.

  • I put a splash of milk in breakfast tea and chai tea...probably around the “he-man” level. I never used to put milk in my tea but tried it a couple years ago and now I love it! Highly recommend for anyone who is nervous to try it.

I’m surprised by the number of purists here! Where is your Downton Abbey side hiding?😄
I’m firmly in the middle row. Most of my tea gets a dash of milk: the stronger the tea, the heavier the dash. The only ones I drink straight are peppermint, chamomile, & green.
  • @keikilove this is why we're friends.
