Each week we'll spotlight a new category of product to help streamline and make it easier to refer back. This week we're discussing baby carriers!

This time around id like to get the infant insert so that we can start using the Ergo sooner.
- I didn't like my Onya carrier with the infant insert because I couldn't get it positioned right, worked well for an older baby but is no longer comfy because she's heavy. My husband likes this carrier
- I have a ktan breeze works really well for smaller babies. It just has to be sized correctly
- I made a meh dai which is really comfy as well and easier to get the right fit than the buckle carrier
I am very into baby carriers 😂 feel free to ask me anything. I will say woven wraps can be very intimidating and there's a learning curve but once I figured it out they are amazing.

This seems like we could get a lot of use out of it for a couple years and isn't too expensive (under $30).

Honestly I put this on my (still private and very much still in the works) Babylist registry because...it looks cute to me! It also sounds fairly easy to use. It seems like we could only use it for the first few months though as it's meant for smaller babies. Also, it comes in clothing sizes so I'm thinking I would get it for me to wear and SO would use the Infantino or some other carrier, if he uses one. A little more expensive for one that's more for short-term use, $50. @jumpy57 glad to hear you liked this one!
I'd had the ergo for #2 and really liked it but got a lillebaby for #3 because she only wanted to face out. Also highly highly recommend. Not cheap but worth every penny. That one you get a lot longer time to wear. I used it alllllll the time- still would at 2 years except life got less hectic thanks to the pandemic so haven't really needed it.
My big piece of advice is if you want an Ergo, make sure it is one that allows front facing out. I thought that Ergo 360 MUST mean that it allows this but ours doesn't. DD was not having facing in after about 5 months and would scream her head off (she made this decision when I decided to take a solo flight with her). I ended up borrowing a different Ergo from a friend and she was content to face out much more than facing in.
Also worth nothing that with any carrier facing out please make sure that baby's hips are supported. I've seen too many babies with their legs just hanging down which can cause hip dysplasia.
