Honestly, I would want to be taken out early in a way that leaves me a non-zombie. Zombies are kind of a nightmare, but mostly I would not want to spend the rest if my life at war with other humans for resources.
It depends. What kind of zombies are we talking about? Slow, traditional zombies like Night of the Living Dead, or fast, new zombies like 28 Days Later? Or somewhere in between, like Resident Evil?
@babymakes9 I’d take a knife. I’d run away far into the woods and survive off the land away from all the action. And all you need to make shelter, fire, etc is a knife and some know how!
I would be pretty bad at surviving, since I am anti-gun (had a very traumatic experience as a young adult) and am squeamish around blood! I think a knive or an axe would put me too close to the action.
hahah to all the self sacrificers. I'm not a huge scary movie fan, but I've seen a few zombie ones..and I've always commented on the fact of how hard it seems to try and stay alive, and for what? I'd probably self sacrifice too early on.

This is a hilarious thread... I’m not into Zombie stuff at all, but recently I’ve had a few VERY vivid dreams of being chased by zombies. I think it’s a mix of 2020 craziness, quarantine and avoiding other people. I never figured out how to fight them in my dreams and I have no idea what to do bc I’ve never seen a zombie show. I may be in the self sacrifice camp, ‘cause it seams like you’d just have to run forever otherwise and I’m not a big runner!
Can I have a submarine? One with guns and bombs and crap. I’d just chill out on the bottom for like six months then clear the way to go resupply and hide again.
@the_road_to_oz. My first thought was a car to allow me to run away from people, but needing gas would be an issue. Maybe this is in the future when we have solar powered cars. Plus then I could hit zombies in my way. Similar idea, but your sub sounds better!
I love all of these answers. All I could think of was a gun- all the shows I’ve seen you need to shoot in the head so that would be the best option. @jbal918 is right though a silencer would definitely be the best bet to not attract any other zombies your way! So I’ll steal her answer 😂
I think one of the best compliments I get is that I’d be handy in a doomsday scenario. I wear that as a badge of honor! I sure I hope I never have to use it though!
Re: Gtky: zombie apocalypse
I’m probably overthinking it 🤣

I also hate scary movies, but have seen most of the walking dead because dh loves that show.
@dreamscapes_ my 15 yo daughter came up with the question and I stole it from her, lol. I think she had traditional zombies in mind?
I think I would go with either a long one handed sword to have a long reach? Or a gun with a silencer but I'd be worried about running out of bullets.
Lol, so many self sacrificers, I never thought of that as an option! But it is a valid one!
