Liquid aversion?!

This is my first pregnancy and my first Discussion post so let me know if this is not the correct spot for this... I haven’t had any real food aversion just nothing sounds appealing. My problem seems to be a water aversion... is that even possible of am I going crazy. I normally love water it’s all I ever drink but lately I can’t seem to finish a water bottle. I know it’s very important to stay hydrated but I’m struggling. I’ve added splashes of Gatorade or cranberry juice to my water to help but I was wondering if anyone else had this in their first trimester and if so did it go away? I am a little over 7 weeks.

  • Water aversion is totally common in pregnancy. It never went away for me, but I countered it by adding lemonade or Gatorade or drinking Topo Chico. And when Ms was peak, I just flat out drank Coca-Cola Classic ice cold because nothing else would work.

  • I have had this with every pregnancy. I always switched to sparkling flavored water. 
  • Can you make smoothies or like a slushie? Sometimes that is a good intermediate for me, since it tricks me into drinking and eating something.
