Trying to Get Pregnant

TWW Tuesday 8/18

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. Thanks for keeping this a safe place for us all to engage!**

Re: TWW Tuesday 8/18

  • Month/Cycle: 21/23

CD/DPO: 18/2-3 (eventually I’ll pick one and move on haha)

    Timing: -3,-2,-1 I believe

    Typical LP length: 12

Testing: Probably when I’m 10 dpo by the earlier O date

R/R: I went through my emails on Sunday night when we got back and made a plan of attack. DH kind of rolled his eyes and said we were “still on vacation” but I’m so glad I did because yesterday was nowhere near as chaotic as the first day back from vacation usually is. If I can have another totally productive day today I‘ll be all caught up! Just need to get out of bed first haha. In other news, my MIL was chosen to be one of the virtual teachers for their school and I’m so relieved 1. For her health obviously 2. I’ve been a little stressed about how we were going to be comfortable seeing her. Finally some good news with all of this.

    CS/Q:

  • @bows22 I'm with YH on that one. No checking emails until I'm back on Monday! But I can be all caught up on emails in half a day since we all work on the same stuff so I'm usually just filing emails away vs needing to answer every email iny inbox. Glad to hear your MIL is virtually teaching!

    Month/Cycle: 3+ years

    CD/DPO: 22/6

    Timing: -3, -1, 0, +1

    Typical LP length: 13 days

    Testing: Saturday

R/R: we should be all set for our consult on Thursday with the 2nd RE. Yay! Now if the days would go by quickly that'd be great.

    CS/Q:

  • @bows22 - that's better than me because as long as I have signal, I usually keep checking my email while I'm out of the office. Can't help myself!
@inthewoods23 - woohoo come on, Thursday!

    CD/DPO: 18/?

Timing: Not as great as usual

    Typical LP length: 9-11 days

@bows22 I am sort of half you and half your DH. I like to login to email and delete all of the junk on the Sunday before returning from vacation. Then I at least only have real emails to comb through. Good luck getting caught up.

    @inthewoods23 Come on Thursday!

    Month/Cycle: 4/3

    CD/DPO: 29/7?

    Timing: -3

    Typical LP length: 12ish

Testing: Friday before weekend drinks, but not expecting anything.

R/R: Crazy Rush at work to finish my big project. Fingers crossed it launches without a hitch!

CS/Q: Temp is still up, so I'm feeling ok. Will edit to add chart image.

  • @inthewoods23 glad you’re ready for your appt on Thursday!

@gusgus14 I did check email too, but ignored unless absolutely necessary! Hope your lack of R/R means you are having a chill day!

@DoubleUp8 good luck with your project!! When does it launch? What you described about email was basically my intention, but I did also make lists of which tasks to tackle today versus Tuesday based on urgency.
  • @bows22 Hopefully, it's launching soon. Going back and forth on somethings that were spring on me a bit last minute.

  • @bows22 - Now that I've been at work a few hours I have plenty to rant about lol

@bows22 That is great news w MIL’s teaching position! As far as your emails, that’s awesome that you were able to start the week without feeling overwhelmed. But I just don’t know how you crack them open after returning from a break. I procrastinate and drag that out as long as humanly possible LOL. Same with unpacking the suitcase ha ha.

@inthewoods23 I’m so excited for you & your 2nd consult! Hope it goes great. And your chart is looking good too!!

@gusgus14 Hope the work rant-worthy situations aren’t too annoying. :)

@doubleup8 Good luck on getting the work project done! Nothing like the last minute changes getting sprung on you when you think you’re almost done! Also, your chart is looking good. :-)

    Month/Cycle: 27/IDK

    CD/DPO: 26/7

    Timing: -2, -1 or maybe -3, -2

    Typical LP length: 10-13

Testing: Starting tomorrow. “Early bird gets the worm!” Or the bfn...

R/R: Rant: We were so excited we caught the OPK surge in this cycle that was supposed to be an IVF cycle but got delayed. We were thrilled to be able to make use of it, but unfortunately MH had another sperm test that he had to “save up for”, so we weren’t allowed to take advantage of O day or +1 timing. Feeling just ok about our timing.

CS/Q: It looks ok but my RHR dropped to extremely low this cycle (50bpm!) so not having high hopes. Also, feeling nothing to Symptom Spot this time.

  • @keikilove I haven't met a single person at this other practice, but the communication so far has been fantastic. It was a little overwhelming getting the email of "please do/send all of these things at least 48 hours prior to your appointment", but they've been quick to answer my questions on it and I think we have it all squared away so I look forward to what the future holds!
