We rented the house we stayed in on our trip from VRBO and I guess the property owners do reviews of the guests that stay there. We got a 5/5 overall but he rated us 4/5 for cleanliness? I don’t even know what that could mean and I’m offended 😂. I’m thinking there must have just been 1 thing that we didn’t notice? I kind of want to reach out and ask because I think it’s B.S. but I’m scared in case it’s embarrassing.
@bows22 that's would get me annoyed as well. we once had a landlord who tried to keep our deposit because he said we left food all over the kitchen. I was really annoyed because I knew we had not done so, and I asked him since we were still under the lease if I could return and clean the kitchen. When I got there, the only food that I could find were some pieces of dried pasta behind the oven because I had not pulled it out to sweep behind when doing our moving out clean up.

I’m sure we didn’t leave the place immaculate but we paid a $175 “cleaning fee” on a <1000 square foot house so I don’t think we were expected to scrub the floors or anything. I was washing our beach blanket and got some sand on the floor, but we ran the vacuum and thought we got it all. DH is wondering if I splashed some pee when peeing into cups for my OPKs which is why I’m afraid to ask 😬😂. It’s their loss though because we are definitely planning to go to the area again and now we won’t stay there!

Our group talked this morning about setting aside 2 different periods in a day to use as focus time for our project work - one in the morning and one in the afternoon, so we'd opt for one or the other each day if we need it. I'm pretty sure it was said not to hoard the same slot every day. So what does my coworker do? Asks if he can take all the afternoon slots this week. Excuse me sir??? Absolutely not lol.
